I don't know. What I can tell you is that those things aren't really proven to do anything at all.
On the other hand, if you're trying to WILD for example, and you're the type of person who falls asleep to relaxing music/sounds easily, then they might work for you anyway.
Everyone is different, so you might have to just try it and see if it works. I don't think you should worry about ruining your chances by just trying. If you waste a few nights experimenting with isotones, then so what? No big deal--if it doesn't work, just move on to something more proven or traditional like MILD. 
Personally isotones do nothing for me, which is probably why I sound so biased. I can't stand them--the sounds are so horribly annoying that it just makes me angry. Even the ones that are supposed to relax me I find extremely annoying. It just doesn't work for me at all. My advice is, try the ones that are online for free--definitely DON'T spend money on them.
