Well, the most similar thing that happens to me is that my brother will run up to me and pull me away from wherever I'm going until I wake up, mad that I wasted my lucid dream (it only happened twice and its not a problem anymore) but I've always experienced the "black out". I don't know if there similar but I'll still try to help.
First, to stay in your dreams, focusing on different sense then sight is really important. Normally, you'd want to touch anything in your reach. Eat it if you want. Keep your hand on something at all time.
But I don't think this is definitly the problem. I'm not sure about this right now, but maybe, since your starting and your dream control is not at its best (same here), I think that you need to go with the flow of the dream. Don't try to control it. Just keep going with the dream, but just try to keep aware that you're dreaming and just stay aware of your surroundings. Do RCs now and then but don't do any goals or go do something Lucid dream like. Well, that's what I'm planning into doing. And then, when you are able to stay lucid until you wake up naturally, then you can start trying to control your dream. Anyways, going with the flow of the dream isn't that bad either.
So, per exemple, if you get sucked into your bed, maybe just let yourself go. DOn't fight it. See where you get.
Another trick is to not express extreme emotions. Like, don't get too excited or too mad. If something goes wrong, its maybe not the best to scream F*** YOUUUUU 'cause then your anger wakes you up. I'm not sure about this, I never got mad in a lucid dream before.
Well, good luck
