      New 2 community Need Help.

Hi I'm new to this community and lucid dreaming. I need help because I want to learn how to use lucid dreaming and one day hopefully succeed doing OBE. If I'm in the wrong sub forum please move this, thank you. I did lucid dream once randomly in my whole life and that's it.

Welcome to DreamViews, we hope you enjoy your stay here! To start out with, you should start keeping a journal of your dreams if you don't already, to help with dream recall, and check out the tutorials forum here. It will have a lot of information you can use. Some of the easiest methods to have an LD (arguably) for new dreamers are the CAT and DEILD techniques, so check those out in particular. If you have any specific questions feel free to ask, I'm (and I'm sure any other member here is also) more than happy to help you out.

      All the Best,
      rR

      Hello,

Im new here too. Research, reading books & forums , more research coupled with a lot of effort in practicing techniques - that's what I have done. I joined here because there is a vast amount of knowledge and experience here. I have spent whole days browsing lucid dreaming forums. I agree with the others keeping a dream journal is crucial. When I first started out I put in my journal for several weeks 'no dreams last night' then suddenly one morning I opened my dream journal to once again put in it that I had no dreams the night before and it triggered me to remember a dream. Then I started to recall tiny fragments of dreams and put them down as a few words of the tiny fragments I could remember. Now I often write down several pages each morning with upto six dreams in vivid detail. I also quickly learnt after having lucid dreams that I would have an amazing lucid dream and then after waking up the memory of the lucid dream faded away pretty quickly. After all we want to remember our lucid dreaming experiences!!! Good luck - actually luck isn't involved, study as much as you can and try out lots of different techniques to see which fits you the best.
