Yeah, I seemed to have a lot less hallucinations too.

I haven't tried it at night because like I said the naps refresh me so when I do finally get around to going to bed I'm usually so awake I can't sleep at all. When I get home from college my feels like it's about to give up anyway, making sleeping a lot easier.

If you have tried a 'lucid nap' I would highly recommend maybe having an hour less sleep at night so you can be tired enough to nap when you get home from school/college/work.

Humming, roaring, hissing, rushing and buzzing noises are frequent in conjunction with sleep paralysis. This happens when the REM atonia sets in sooner than usual, before the person is fully asleep, or persists longer than usual, after the person has (in other respects) fully awoken. As an REM cycle is stronger and more frequent in a nap than normal sleep, hallucinations are too.

I'll definitely try this tonight. I really want to be able to WILD right when I get in bed as opposed to doing a WBTB, but I need something like this to help me out. Thanks for the tip!

I'm pretty sure it's possible to WILD when you first go to bed; I have a lot more hypnogogic imagery at this time than when I wake up early in the morning.

Well, I got reeeeaaallly close with this last night. Closer than I have with anything else non-WBTB. I was seeing mini-dreams and hearing sirens and becoming aware of my dream body...but then I started coughing and lost it

Hopefully this means once I'm 100% over my cold I'll make it right through!

I'm really glad what I've accidentally stumbled upon is helping some people, I keep using this and my LDs are becoming stronger and stronger, I just have to work on making them longer now.

I know what you mean, the biggest stumbling block is unlocking your dream body and letting reality go. I'm just like 'come on, dream eyes! open! open!' but it can make me concentrate too hard and I lose it.
