Simple technique to increase lucidity :ImageStreaming (http://winwenger.com/imstream.htm). After 25 hours of practice you are supposed to get a 20 point increase in iq. It is more than possible to invent things in an LD. The man who invented the sewing machine got the idea for the needle (he'd been having problems with them in the past) from a dream he had. Anyway, I've been through that site before, and while I doubt it would increase anybody's IQ by 20, it would probably help with dream recall. It would be something interesting to experiment with...

In all honesty, I seriously doubt this raises IQ, certainly not by 20 points. Though I can see how it can improve the vividness of dreams, as well as your imagination.

I believe it helps to strengthen the corpus callosum (bundle of nerves that connect both hemispheres together), it's also known as pole bridging. And 25 hours of practice really aint all that long. When you start to do it, its very very fun. It's made my dreams very realisitc. What you could possibly do is say outloud to a live listener/tape recorder/computer microphone: "I'm wondering how my dreams will look like tonight". Whatever images come up, just start to describe them in the utmost detail (in the present tense). Describe smell, sight, taste, touch, sound. . .etc. When you get on a role. . .the images start to flow. Good luck

Lol, I've been having a dry spell for a week now... and I'm pretty good at visualizing, but I tried that simple technique of noticing more details of the mental image, and an hour later i went to sleep... thinking I'd have no LDs as usuall. Low and Behold, In the dream I started noticing details, and had an extremely vivid lucid dream.. I'm glad this technique worked... it just pisses me off that I try so hard with any technique and when i do something as simple as this... I get an LD. WTF? The real stupid thing is when I do this again, it won't work. But perhaps it will,, that'd be awesome. -Daniel P.S. try it, can't hurt
