You mean that after you do a reality check, you lose awareness that you're dreaming? I believe that you should make your reality checks stronger. Make yourself very aware that you're dreaming. Realize that you're not just dreaming, you're actually living inside that dream! Look at your hands, feel them, observe their texture, is it smooth or rough? Listen for any sounds you're hearing, are there cars rushing by (or through) you? Engage as many of your senses as you can. Lift up some object, a bench or rock or something, give it a toss, crawl under something, engage those senses!
