Unhappy Trouble With the MILD Method

Hi DV. Usually I'm posting something about my success, but not today. You see, I've been using the MILD method to attain lucid, but it won't work. Am I doing something wrong? Here's my MILD information.

Dream Sign:Things under the category of don't have
ex:that cow does not have pink spots, I don't have 3 ears, Drug Mart doesn't have the ability to fly, etc.

Mantras: A dream character will tell me to do a reality check(most successful with about five LDs), I will do a reality check(Worked about 3 times), I will notice my dream sign(never worked), and I will notice my dream sign and become lucid(worked once).

Days I Can Recall At Least One Dream: 5 to 7 days a week.

Reality Check Times: When I wake up, and before I go to bed...and I forget at those times usually.

So, does anyone know what I'm doing wrong? If you do, tell me immediately.

It just takes persistance. Before going to bed repeat your mantra, like " I will realize I am dreaming" keep doing that until it's stuck in your head. Play around with it, say it in a deep voice, say it in a high voice. Say it in another language if you can, or whatever you can do to keep it in your head. When your satisfied, go to bed.

Wake up in the night after a dream and write it down. Repeat your mantra again, until you decide to sleep.
"The world is your playground. There are bumps along the way but this playground comes with a fully equipped toolbox with equipment out there to solve ANY disease, problem or issue out there. ONE problem. Some tools are harder to find than others. Lucid dreaming is just one of them."

Thanks, I'll try that. And guess what? I had an LD last night! I MILDed! I guess persistance is key. I'm going to Spanish 1 next school year, so I'll learn my current mantra in Spanish. Oh, that means that mantra worked two times now!
