Wink Help! SO ClOSE to LDing!

I've been recording my dreams for about a little over a week. only one or two nights I haven't been able to remember anything at all, but most nights i can remember decently lengthy dreams. 2-3 dreams usually, although last night I remembered 5.

For the last few days I've also been doing regular RC's. My iPod background is from http://www.dreamviews.com/community/...17#post1481017 that thread.

I've had 2 dreams in the last 3 days in which a character was talking to me about a dream of his, and last night I was at a meeting/workshop type thing for Lucid dreamers.

And I ALMOST questioned why i was running so oddly but remembered I had a big backpack on and boots. (I'd just ran out of a war zone building). and Others dreams I've felt I was much closer to my regular conscious than most dreams but never got Lucidity

I've Tried MILD and WILD and WBTB but none seem to work. Maybe I'm not giving it enough attention or effort? or need a few more days/ weeks of RCing to really set in?

      Any suggestions would be great

      Thanks!

I think its a deep set internal thing. Early on I said I would have at least 2 LDs by the end of the month. Also that I'd collect some dreamsigns. So I think once I do that It'll start LDing easy.

      Thanks!

I've been having the same problem as you, I'm following all the steps mentioned on the boards and forums and what not; it just doesn't seem to be working though
Buuut I guess it's just a waiting game for now

Almost a week, I have eight dreams recorded so far; most of which are in great detail.
And I've been doing reality checks for approximately the same amount of time, doing them every half an hour to every hour; as far as I know you can't do them "too" often haha

Yeah, I know what you mean I do RCs ALL the time. In this book I read http://www.amazon.com/Exploring-Worl.../dp/034537410X it says you should have recorded about 12 entries in order to move on and start looking for patters of dream signs. I would say we both try filling up 2 solid weeks of RC's and Journaling. and see what happens then.

I also highly recommend that book.

Hahaha I'm reading that book right now, I just thought that was funny that you picked that book out of all the Lucid Dreaming books.
But yeah two weeks is a good time period, and now that I've been recording dreams I've already noticed a personal dream sign; people from my old schools (who I may or may not have actually been friends with) are my friends in my dreams.

The other night I was listening to brown noise and did some deep relaxation and Was pretty sure I was going to SP. my whole body had a whole vibrating type feel to it. and after a while my head was spinning around like crazy. Like I was on a merry-go-round or a carousel. eventually though It stopped. I think it was because I was thinking too much about being in SP or not letting myself fall asleep. Also I didn't want to go to sleep with my headphones on so It took them off and that sort of ended it...

Should I keep the headphones on next time? They really seemed to help. Though I'm not sure if the brown noise would continue to help or hurt?

I've experienced the very same thing, and I usually keep the headphones in; because if it bothers your sleep that much, I've noticed you'll just take them out after your REM cycle (but I normally don't remember when I wake up between REM cycles ).
I say that you should try keeping them in, and see what happens like whether you find it easier to fall asleep or if you don't care for it at all; and then try taking them out. Just try experimenting to see what works best for you.
Personally, it works better to keep the headphones in for me
