Post Déjà Vu or Déjà Rêvé an Abstract

      Hey Everyone,

Here is an abstract .pdf that I have published entitled, "Déjà Vu or Déjà Rêvé" feel free to download, print, share and distribute this article as you see fit, if you feel it is of some benefit.

Déjà Vu or Déjà Rêvé Link

This paper examines the very real phenomena of Déjà Vu and how it connects to an even more profound subtype known as Déjà Rêvé. Déjà vu is French for “Already Seen” and Déjà Rêvé is French for “Already Dreamed”. Often people who experience Déjà Vu link the origin of the familiar memory to something they have dreamed days, weeks, months and even years before they experienced “Déjà Vu”. Déjà Rêvé suggests that dreams have a direct and relative relationship with physical reality. If so, then understanding and exploring this is critical to science and critical to understanding the origins of “reality”.

Most the times in my life I have had deja vu I have had a feeling of when it happened.
Our truest life is when we are in dreams awake

I wanted to add to this post that Robert Waggoner and Anthony Peake on "The Peake Experience" talked in great depths regarding lucid dreams. They brought up some of my research with regards to lucid precognitive dreaming.

Here is the link to the video; it should be public viewable within 24-48 hours.
Robert Waggoner on The Peake Experience | The Soup Media Network

Robert shared his Interview with me in his 55th Edition of the Lucid Dream Exchange. You can also read this interview freely on the internet.

      Here's a PDF format from Robert's website.

Here is an HTML version if the PDF is hard to follow with the columns,

      Enjoy the dream my friends!

Rather than creating a new thread, I thought I'd just revive and post in this one.

A few nights ago, I dreamt about a friend of mine (who happened to be my fiance in my dream but we're just friends irl) who had received a call from her mother and was told that her grandfather had died. That same morning my dad got a call from my aunt and we found out my grandmother had passed away a few hours ago.

Just a few seconds ago the strangest feeling of deja vu/reve(?). It wasn't something that I related to a vague memory of a dream, this shit was spot on. I was looking at the computer screen, dropped a pen, and when I went to pick up, I got the feeling that this had happened before. Normally I'd dismiss it since something like that happens so often but then I went on Youtube and someone had PMed me a link to two song that were incredibly familiar but I know I haven't heard them irl. One, because it's new, and the other because it's from an artist I rarely listen to. I even knew a fly would land on the window a few seconds before it happened. I've got this odd feeling like I'm supposed to remember or do something because something major's going to happen soon. .-.

I'm not much of a believer when it comes to anything like this but it would be cool if deja reve's really were possible. xD

It could just be coincidence though; my grandmother was really old and the songs could just be sampling an instrumental I heard a while back. The thing about the fly is weird though, I even knew the exact spot it would land.

EDIT: As an interesting side note, the related/suggested videos list on the Youtube page is full of songs like Last Ones Left, Last Motherfuckers Breathing, This Aint Living, Ballad Of A Dead Soldier, etc.

      Hey Gavin,

Having had deja reve over the last 23 years and talking with countless of people who also have had it; I will assure you it is real but does not always surface in everyones life. I am striving to understand it better both as an experience and as a science regardless of the skeptisism. I also revised the abstract:

It's an improvement from the old.

      Keep dreaming!
