You need to use a portal, a mirror, a door or a long-travel power. Fast teleportation can work too but it will be probably hard, since it's mainly used to go to places near by.

I don't like the concept of an inner or outer world. Whats on the dream plane is in no way happening within the boundaries of physical plane. So its not like your dreams are inside of your body, but they do represent whats happening within yourself. You can create a dream world that you visit repeatedly. You can go anywhere on the dream plane in a a milisecond, the dreams of a being from another planet are just as close to you as the dreams of someone next door.

The basic concept around inner and outer worlds is that, if you go on the outer world, you don't need to focus on a specific person, but you're in the network. If you want to dream with a specific person, you use inner worlds.
Going in the outer world means meeting any form of entity that we can't even imagine of.

makes sense. so i just teleport, portal, etc. there.
Another question how do I focus on a specific persons energy to find them, especally if I haven't had a shared dream with them before?

Imagine them alone in a pitch black room. They are just sitting there quietly. You walk in the room, and you know who is in the room with you. That's senseing their energy.
