I had a dream sharing experience!

Hello guys! Long time no see. It's funny how when you really try to do something, it ends up being impossible to do. However When ever it never crosses your mind, you end up doing it in the most amazing way possible. For the past week or two, before I gave up on the task completely, I had been trying to find someone to dream share with. The funny thing is, I shared a dream with someone I havent talked to since Highschool. I'm in my Sophomore year in college now. I don't know if it's allowed, but I am going to share my experience, aswell as his because ours were a little different! Mine: It's The last day of Highschool and I am just conversing with all my friends in the parking lot. While We all are excited, No one really wants to celebrate until later, so we all just go our separate ways, for now. I don't remember how I got home (I'm assuming I just teleported for the sake of my dream?). But while I'm at home, I realize I'm hungry, so I decide to walk to Mcdonalds. I choose to walk in the Alley to save time due to the zig zagging roads in the front. As I near the end of the alley, I notice a group of shady characters toss a football around and speak in rather expletive and annoying tones, and I figure that its best to avoid them. I try to climb a neighbors fence, but there was this weird force that wouldnt allow me up to a certain point, thus, heading forward and hoping for the best. I noticed a familiar face, Sean, and quickly call out to him so the others could figure I meant no harm. He looked and reveled at my appearance like we were the best of friends being united. He asked what I was doing, and I told him I was going to Mcdonalds and he insisted on tagging along. I agreed, and just like that, all of his friends disappeared. As we walked, he mentioned that he didn't eat anything all day, and I kinda thought he had it rough so I already knew I was paying for his meal. To lighten the mood, I whole heartedly mentioned that I havent eaten all day either "Yea, all I had to eat today is the gum I am chewing right now", then we both snicker. "I'm glad it still has its flavor. I don't know what I would do if it hadn't". As we both laugh, we began reminiscing about our middleschool and highschool terms. We finally get their, but before we go inside I ask him why I didn't see him at the school that day, and he just stared at me. Then he fades and I wake up. Sean's (pasted from facebook, and edited by me for grammar reasons): The dream starts with me chilling with my friends. I really didn't like those guys, but they were the only ones I could find. I offered throwing around a football because it was the safest thing to do. While we toss it around, I see you walk out from the alley. You have your graduation Cap and Gown on, and a golden aura around you. LoL, I thought you were an angel at first, calling out to me, saving me from these douche bags. As You walk up, I realize that thats my boy Roy, and I saw the Cap and I knew your "I want to pass everything" looking ass just came from Harvard, or Yale. You have a big grin on your face until you see the company around me, then you garner a smug look for the rest of your walk towards me. I ask where you going. You say Mcdonalds. I say I want to come and you say. 'As long as it's just you, they look like thugs". I faintly agree as I notice you obviously think very highly of yourself and lowly of me and the homies. As we walk from the pack, I mention that I didn't get a chance to eat today. Abruptly, you ask 'is it because you don't have any money? I GUESS i''l pay for you'. It felt good that you were willing to help me out after our long term of not hanging out, but I was really questioning your moral character. You then change the subject and the mood with something funny. I can't remember what it was, but I was dying laughing the whole way there. we finally get there, and you open the door to Mcdonalds. As you do, I hear you mutter "LOL, so what? You were too stupid to graduate?" I was more shocked than anything. I chuckled as you walked through the door and screamed "F**K You too, LMAO" I looked him up on facebook the next morning and messaged him. I told him I had a dream about him and he said the same thing to me. I told him to tell me what it was about, before I showed him mine, and look, its crazy. I sure did sound like an a-hole though

If this is true, which it probably is, then wow. I mean I can't see how this could work, but it seemed to. This is really strange. There might actually be something to this dream sharing stuff. Incidentally, I invited some people try and enter a dream of mine, to see if anything would happen. I never have nightmares, but the two nights since the topic was started, I had two dreams which were nightmare-ish. Not actual nightmares, but one had spiders in my room and the other was seeing a character I know getting ripped apart. I wonder if.... anyone did that from here.

Dude!! This happened to me and my friend Elijah. In real life it was around ten-o-clock when we decided to part ways since we live in different directions. We had previously been talking about dreams that we had and how cool it would be to have the same dream.My parting words were: I'll see you tommorow don't forget to go to sleep as soon as you get home. That night nothing happened,again the next couple of nights nothing happened just normal lucid's. Finally like three weeks later after we'd pretty much forgot about the entire idea. It happened. it wasnt long but the fact that it happened was exilirating. In the dream I was in an area that was completely black. I walked around but there wasn't anything to see or hear.Then elijah appeared and said : Dude what are you doing?! I said : I don't know where I am Elijah: Dude this is my mind Me: O My God! lets look at some of your memories! Elijah:No There's some stuff I don't want you to see Me: dude just come on! Before I could finsh walking The dream ended. The Next Day Elijah And I met up and he was Like Eliajh: How did you do that?! me: I don't know i was just there.Why did you wake us up?! Eliajh: Cuz I couldnt have you Walking through my mind. he laughed I was pissed, I mean it just seemed like it was a once in a lifetime thing. I don't know when we'll try ity again but man was it amazing.

Well you never agreed to invade each others minds that night, so really you could do it any night. Plus, it was 3 weeks after you were talking about it, so odds are it wasn't placebo.

Wow, that is so cool. Thank you for sharing. What I found most interesting was that your friend saw a "golden aura" around you when you approached him. In my first shared dream, I saw an aura around the person I was dreaming with as well, also golden. The whole dream had a golden tint to it, but he was just radiating it. I could feel it, too -- it had a comforting feel to it. Very interesting.

2 is usually counted as coincidence in matters like this. I think most people would need a third event like this with the golden aura to believe it. I don't doubt you, I'm just saying the golden aura might be just you two.

Thanks for the feedback, guys! One of the craziest things about this, however, is that our dreams are sorta different. The way I viewed him in real life was shown completely in our dream. Sean was always skipping school and was one of those, for lack of a better word, thugs. So him being warped through that imagining was rather humorous. The way he saw me was warped as well. I was the guy that would to do other's homework and projects in school, if you were willing to pay, and I did a few assignments for him in the past. In our dream, I was portrayed as a snooty scholar, lol. So I guess thats how he views me. it wasn't just our images that were warped. Our whole lingo and personality was, also. But I was really shocked about, was how vivid his memory was about the dream. I'm glad it was however, because it sounded almost exactly like mine. The subconscious is an amazing thing

It was warped because it was a dream, simple as that I'd say. It is really curious though, how you both had dreams of the same nature. They must have connected somehow, as chance is just too high for it to be coincidence. However just the natures of both dreams isn't enough for me to go ZOMG YOU BOTH CONNECTED THAT NIGHT. If anyone else has the golden aura thing or can attest to doing this too, then 3 is a lot of testimonies for one idea.

The warping you experience has to do with personal perception. This has to do with being aware of certain things that others may, and personal filters. Do you think your friend is interested in repeating this?

I really don't know if he would feel like trying to attempt this again, and I'm not really that close with him, so asking him would be alittle awkward. It would be fun, however, to try this again at all
