Dream Sharing Film "Paprika"

Someone posted this on another site, today, (the one I got banned from) and I like it. He/she wrote: Pretty far out stuff, but this movie is a great watch for those interested in dream sharing. Woman: Actually, to tell the truth the DC mini hasn’t been completed yet. Once it is complete you’ll be able to enter your dream even while you’re wide awake. (Looking at a computer screen) Didn’t you say he was a friend? Man: Yah, I did. We used to work together a few years ago. Woman: Why did he go after you and put you in a cage? Man: I don’t know. He’s just not the kind of person who would execute that kind of trick. Looking at the computer screen and clicking the video of the dream forward he says: Why do they all look like me? That’s really disturbing. Woman: Here you are as Tarzan, right? This looks like a scene from some spy thriller and I have to admit that the fighting was kinda fun. Any REM sleep that occurs later in the sleep cycle goes a bit longer and is a bit easier to analyse. If we were to compare dreams to film the earlier cycles would be artsy shorts, a later cycle would be a full length feature. Man: Well then I guess that would make you, mmm, my own discovery, a movie starlet. Woman: You’re upset. I guess movies aren’t your thing? Man: No, it’s not that. (Looking at more on the computer screen the mans says hmmm) Woman: Who’s that man? Man: The victim in the homicide case I’ve been working on for some time. I’ve been trying to find his killer. I know the purp’s still out there. Maybe that’s why I can’t seem to concentrate lately. Woman: Anxiety neurosis. Man: You think this case could be causing it? Woman: We don’t want to jump to conclusions. The therapy is just getting started. (she walks to the door to leave) Take care of your self Detective KornerKeller (she walks out the door) Man runs to catch her Woman: Uuum Man: When will I see you again for my treatments? And she gives him a card and leaves (6:00) Opening film credits roll with woman lucid dreaming in real-time world. Film begins at (8:00) Better watch it while you can. I have found over the years that full-length movies often disappear off YouTube citing copyright issues

(…) (32:20) (42:00) (1:06:45) I this point I got a thought. We are “one” but that creates this kind of Chaos. Without some unifying ingredient there is chaos. The missing ingredient is that which would cause deep true satisfaction to all. By all I mean each single individual not just the collective. While each have deep wants and needs that remain unsatisfied there is chaos. Maybe the missing ingredient is simply energy, I don’t know. Maybe I would build energy channelled from within, inside. And share that energy generously when I dream. (1:15:10) this bit is interesting. (1:17:00) and more interesting. The big guy couldn’t be satisfied not even by the energy of love. I remember trying to watch this months ago on some free anime website, but it told me my free time was over before the end of the movie XD Then the next day my google search had a virus! And still does. Curse you paprika! Still I recommend it, not to many dream movies or animes out there.

There is a comic called Doom Patrol which handless around problems (mental and other) and birthpains of being a superhero (atleast after G Morrison started to write it). In number 37 it introducts world of circus and mirrorhouses. There is also a character called Crazy Jane there . I'm pretty sure you didn't miss the tarzan ~ jane connection in Paprika. Elevator scenes in Paprika have many analogies in other movies and programs. Brazil was last one that reminded me of the actual Paprika movie. (Doying my best to help in this one)
