How to develop a 'Sixth Sense' in dreams?

      Hey guys,

I was recently wondering about how I can discover my 'Sixth Sense.' By this, I'm referencing the ability to sense the aura of other special characters within my dream, so that I could track them down over long distances. I would also like to know how to sense my own 'aura' in dreams, mainly so that dream control would be easier (or so I believe, I don't know if this energy influences control or not). It would be much appreciated if you can give me a basic run-down of 'aura' in dreams, how I can access it, and how I can use it to develop this 'Sixth Sense.'

      Thanks

Well try to focus on energy and what not in the day. Focus on people, feel what they feel, perceive existence as them, subtly know what they feel, etc. I see energy sometimes. In dreams I suppose it would be a more natural thing to do, just practice.

^^ Do what she said, Marlowe, plus maybe one more thing:

Don't just focus on, or look for, energy in waking life, but expect it. Even if you completely fail to see any auras in waking life, the second-nature expectations you build in the process will follow you into your dreams, where you will see auras as expected by habit, and hopefully your dreaming mind will oblige by wrapping the auras you do see around DC's, and reflections of your self, that are truly significant.

      Good luck, and excellent question!

Yes! Definately expect it like sageous said.
When in a crowded room try to focus on one person.
If someone is walking by and you pass them, focus on the feeling you get from them. Personally, I always find it easier to feel and understand people who I don't know. I gues it's because when I focus on someone I do know, I already think I know how they feel, because I'm friends with them or whatever. Which is not the case. Most people are different energetically than you think.
But yeah, like I said, put yourself in other people's shoes. (you can also feel the energy of people you don't know personally. They don't have to physically be near you. It could even be someone on DV)

Also, when I started learning about energy and stuff, I really wanted to be able to sense it, so I just started doing these things and it really didn't take long at all to learn how. Because it's just such a natural thing. Seeing energy is a bit different but it will eventually come to you
And also follow your initial feelings about things! Whether it be people, events, etc. Take things as they are and don't be so quick to label

I found myself sensing these things in dreams after I begun experimenting with it in waking life, you don't even have to be all that great at it for it to be very powerful in your dreams, at least in my experience.

I've tried many times in waking life, to no avail. But had one dream recently (semi-lucid) where I intended to see peoples energies. Boom everyone became glowing gold and white with internal clockwork all made out of energy. Was really interesting, would love to do it again.

Wow! Thanks for your replies guys, I think your advice will really help.
So essentially, if I practice sensing people around me during waking life, the sensation will occur naturally in my dreams (Sort of like how real-life awareness impacts dream awareness)?

Also, I was following a program a while back doing some exercises, and one set of exercises that you sit still and imagine 'energy' flowing within your body. I did this, and began to feel only what I can describe as being a tingling sensation in my limbs (sort of like the vibrations in SP, only dulled down). I could control where and how the sensation flowed to an extent. Is this the same energy related to the energy of sensing characters in dreams?

      Thanks again.

Yup, I would say that's your inner energy.

I'd say it's similar, the problem is the energy in your body is just that, plain tingling sensations. But when you sense characters you have to sum up a few things, you can feel personality, if they're in tune with an specific animal, energy color, element preference and a few other things.
      Are you dreaming?
