      possible method for pre-cognitive dreaming?

FIrst off I'd like to say hello as this is my frist post on this site. I hope to be an active member here and am excited to read about other's experiences with the stranger side of dreaming. This post will be alittle long, so I apologize. If your not interested in my recounts of dreams, and only the "method" that I have found to produce minimum results for me (but results nonetheless!) then start reading where I mention Wake Induced Lucid Dreaming. But I have raised questions in the other paragraphs and would like to see if anyone tried to delve as deep into this as I have.

That being said, I have had numerous pre-cognitive dreams, each one of them true down to the last detail, with the exception of one.
The one when I first recgonized this (gift? curse? can everyone do it? I dont know. It feels like a curse sometimes though) it was about my junior prom. In highschool, I went to only two dances, my junior and senior proms. I dreamt 2 months before my junior prom, that I would be going with a girl I had very little interest in and while we were waiting for the limo the girl I was actually interested in was late, so me and two others went outside to smoke a cigarette, where I found I forgot my cigarrettes and it was raining. Having no interest in the dance at the time I had the dream, I dismissed it. Said girl asked me the week before the dance to the prom, having an extra ticket and no one to go with. Being my friend, I felt bad saying no, so I went. That prom day, the girl I had an interest in was late for the limo, my prom date had the exact same dress, the room we were in was the same, it was raining and I forgot my cigarettes. WHen it started raining, I had a strong bout of deja vu but not until my mind was drifting away in meditation a few night later did I rememebr the prophetic dream.

Last July, I took a trip to Poland to see far off relatives. This is the crazy part, I can recount 3 pre-cognitive dreams that have come true that I had during that one month trip. 1 Was me being late for work, another was a bad trip. The interesting one (for me atleast, which gives me a dilemma) was one that I had where I was hiding in some bushes next to a train track, hiding from obnoxiously loud friends with 2 others for a little joke. Before they came around, I casually started chatting about recently starting to work at UPS, my current employer, with a friend of mine, who works with me now. WHen I had this dream, I was already employed by a different company and my friend did not work nor never mentioned working at UPS. Later in the dream me and my friends get arrested for possession and vandalism. I wake up in the middle of the car ride, so I dont know if the cops actually followed through or were just tring to scare us. But point is, last halloween night, when I was hiding in the bushes and casually started chatting with my friend about working at UPS with another friend of mine, and then obnoxiously loud friends roll through, screaming the exact same words as they were in my dream, I remembered it. AT the risk of looking like a tweak I urged everyone out of there, only to find cops parked near where we walk off the tracks, but they allowed us to leave.

Interestingly enough, if we consider the time when I told everyone we should leave as point A, the conversation and events after point A are drastically different between Real and Dream worlds, but everything before point A is exactly the same. Does this tell me that playing any hand with foreknowledge of whats to come negate the prophecy? Basically, what I'm asking myself at this point, is if someone dreamt they would be on one of the planes during the 9/11 incident, recognized this and cancelled his/her flight, would 9/11 still have happened because this one person wasn't there for the event that should have happened, or was his one action of saving himself not important enough to prevent the event of the prophecy in the first place? Had I not talked about UPS with hiding in those bushes, would that have been enough to throw the prophecy off course, or did it take such a drastic change as going to a new setting to stop us from being arrested?

ANother interesting note, when I was in the 5th grade my baby brother died from SIDS at 1 month old the day after my mother's birthday. The night he passed, my mother, father and I all remember me saying that I felt uneasy and would like to sleep in the living room, where my baby brother's crib was. WHile I have no recollection of a pre-cognitive dream of that event, I figured it'd be an interesting thing to note for the sake of this thread.

Now, out of 8 dreams that have happened, 7 have come true to the last detail. From petty to significant, they all vary but all came true. The one that I feel that was false was the halloween one. WHy didn't I foresee my understanding of that night? In more recent ones prophecies, I have vivid memories of having in dream thoughts about recognizing that a prophecy is happening. Is it because that my interest in it grew, so the more recent dreams accounted for that? If thats so, do I still hold any power over changing the events of the dream as the unfold in real life? My hopeful guess is yes, and I'll explain why at the end of this post. (bear with me, it's almost over)

Now for what I have learned. It seems everywhere I read, the basic idea of pre-cognitive dreaming is that when we live a routine life, sometimes we see stuff in the future. Maybe thats right. My summer in Poland, I had three pre-cognitive dreams that all came true, through no effort of my own (either to have the prophecy, and once I did, to fulfill it). At that point I had already had 2 pre-cognitive dreams that came true. WHen the first two Poland dreams came true, I reflected on my experience and heres what I've found through trial and error.

Many of you (I hope) are familiar with the Wake Induced Lucid Dreaming method. My post is long already, so look it up if you dont. I mention this, because reflecting upon when I ahd these dreams, all were times that I was actively attempting Wake Induced Lucid Dreaming, but failed and fell asleep before I was in lucidity. As a matter of fact, besides the strange baby brother event, I cant think of one pre-cognitive dream that I've had (or think I've had) that wasnt near a time when I was interested in lucid dreaming. I also like to meditate before bed, and again, every pre-cognitive dream I've had were during periods where I was meditating. I can not recount one pre-cognitive dream during the time periods I had givin up on it. The last, is they seem to happen, oddly enough when I stray from my routine. I live in a city, the hustle, butsle, noise and pollution of a city are part of my life. While I love the ebb and flow of it, it is interesting that the one month period of 3 pre-cognitive dreams happened while I was in the mountains, far removed from city life, drinking the purest mountain water and breathing nothing but fresh air. When I started experimenting to control when I have these dreams, while I had a few failed attempts with nothing but regular dreams, (one was lucid, though, which was fun) After chances cut a certain item out of my everyday life for 4 or 5 days, meditation during this time, and purposefully letting myself fall asleep during WILD (somewhere inbetween when the itching starts and you start seeing shapeless colors,) and then returning back to my normal routine, where I added the item, still had meditation, stopped WILD. I recognized 4 pre-cognitive dreams, over 3 months, during the "off routine." 2 of them have come true so far, one seems to be fulfilling right now (I lost my virginity in this dream. I remeber what the girl looked like and what her name was. FUnnily enough, last weekend at a party I met cute girl who's an exact replica of this dream girl and they happend to have the same name. I got her number, too ;])

In conclusion, while maybe this wont work for everyone, or maybe it was just chance and coincidence that I had these dreams when I did, I would find it interesting if any readers could attempt what I did ( I can answer in more detail through pm or email about what I exactyl cut out of my routine, I'm hesitant in open post because it's kinda illegal)

And lastly, this bring me to my most sobering and scary dilemma. The reason why I hope I havn't thrown away my will in these events, and why my interest is piqued in it again.. Unless I survive, and I just didn't see it, I happen to know how I'll die. I dont know if it's the same with all of you, but the last 4 times I had a pre-cognitive dream, I was almost certain they were pre-cognitive dreams, and two of those have played out, with the 3rd seemingly playing out currently. I'm 19, and if I'm right I wont see 20. Albeit my sleep schedule has been messed up lately, so I havn't been dreaming, and it isn't uncommon for me to go have 1 or 2 pre-cognitive dreams within a few weeks and not have any more for a long period of time but I havn't had one pre-cognitive dream since that one. I've seen many people say these dreams happen for a reason. AM I to die to spare myself future pain in life? Would it be morally unethical for me to play a hand in saving my own life, when I'm probably one of the few people in the world given the knowledge of how they'll die? I'm not going to lie, Im confused, this depresses me, and I feel like the only one out there
