Well, here is my dream log for 4 nights ago. edit : or i cant count

Okay, this is what i remember.

For some reason my father was being chased by police or an organisation, and I was with him. The most memorable location we were at was a big multi story building/shopping cetre (6 stories I believe). Top level was plastic sheet covered, as if under construction? Or at least white. Well, they were chasing us and my dad said we had to split up. I was seen by one of the men and i ran away and reached the end of one of the stories. I myst have been above ground as I had to double back, where i found a lift. I got in and went to the top (6th?) floor. I was really scared, as the dream was so realistic, anyway, I feared that I would not see him again, but luckily I did. I cant remember what happened for a while after that, but my memory resumes with my dad being missing. I call his phone and reach the answering machine. I am immediately terrified as the voice on the answering machine is not my father, rather it is another man impersonating him. I indentify the person as a policemen, as I emphasize (for some strange reason) that i heard something about a case accidently said at the end of the recording. I was sure this was the case though. (accidental pun ). From the part of my dream when i knew my dad was missing I remember having a male companion of my age. I am fairly sure it was Stefanos Valos, but it could of also been Philip Azzopardi. (they both go to my school and I have discussed LD with both of them). I strongly believe it was stefanos. This is where the recollection of my dream ends.

Now, this is where it gets interesting

As I am sitting with my friend at school, he notices on my phone, reminders to do an rc, and a LD conversation arises. (This is 2 days later btw.)
Then, i swear, completely without provocation, he says he had a weird dream 2 nights ago and I was in it. I told him that so did I with him in it. Then i tell him briefly what mine was about. And he says that in his he was being chased by a bunch of preps (pre schoolers) up stairs, and he was really scared, and I was there and he woke screaming. To be fair, he is highly influenced by what i say, but I did not think I led him to anything in this case.

Now, I could be completely wrong, but I see a coincidence here.

      Any opionions?

If you two have correlating dream experiences then its quite likely a shared dream. By reading previous posts of supposed shared dreams, there seems to be some distortion of the two person's perception of the shared dream. for example, a couple people in my family had this dream as follows:

one member said that they were in florida, that there was a hurrican/very strong winds, and that they were been blown into the air, except they said they were holding onto the hands of the other family member. they eventually said the storm winds became so strong that they blew away into the air.

the other member that was holding onto them recalled that there were winds and that they did not let go. and they recognized the winds and the other member being blown into the air.

in both cases, they recall the same event taking place although they may not get it down to the exact details. but they are both mystified by it, and believe that they might have had a shared dream. i think they did.

in your case, if your dreams match up, then yeah it is most likely a shared dream. another thing to keep in mind, is that dream characters all have an active role in the dream; that is to say that you (the dreamer) may remain quiet, but still get interaction with dream characters. everything in a dream revolves around the dreamer. the same with dream characters, like the relationship is one-sided.

now i theorize that shared dreams will most likely have equal participation, if not similar participation/interaction betwen the two/several people(s) involved. like, there would be more "realistic"interaction as if the two people were in real life, except acting according to what is happening in the dream.

anyway, thats just my thoughts on this.

I understand, but also, in real life, he basically just follows me around the school yard most of the time, and I like lead conversations, he is a great guy, but doesnt have many friends, and likes me being his friend. So basically, I believe that the way he acted in the dream was quite realistic to the way he acts in real life.

Man, I got this story in my head--& it's like a dream--but I also got this ghost that swears this shit happened. Case of a shared dream, maybe? Or am I just going nuts?
