I am not talking about what makes them different by definition. I am asking what ACTUALLY makes them different from a lucid dream. Is there a different feeling to it? Do the Dream Characters feel more like real beings than simple entities created from you mind? I have never tried Astral Projection or OBE's, and i am a bit curious of how they differ from just a dream in which you are aware that you are dreaming. Any response will be greatly appreciated. Thanks! |

I believe it is how awake you are during the experience. At a certain level of awareness you astral project. But Lucid dreaming and astral projection are NOT the same thing. |

I don't think you CAN because both the astral realm and dream world are both influenced by thought. The common misconception is that AP you can't control the environment well but that is false. It is not something an outside person can test. Only the one experiencing it can truly know if they are AP'ing or LD'ing. All I know is AP'ing is like a LD on steroids...or so I am told. But I can't judge this because I have never done it before. I have only pulled of an LD. Whats even trickier is that you can have a LD about AP'in but at its core its an LD but not astral projection. |
