Amazing Impossible Dream Connection Made Between Me And Girlfriend!

Hey DV I have had quite a amazing experience I would like to share with you all. Brief Background b = girlfriend I met b about 8 months ago and we have been together 6 months I know love can make you a fool but we share a really beautiful connection so much so I happily call her my soul mate. I spoke to her about my interest in lucid dreaming and she told me that she often becomes lucid while flying in dreams so I told her I was still practicing on regularly gaining lucidity and we started to record our dreams like I have done for a few months and in the past and tell each other each morning so this morning when she told me her dream I was quite surprised. My Dream in my words I was in Windsor Road the street of my old home trying to put one of my dogs on a lead, I was having trouble trying to get hold of the dog cause it was running away when I got close to it (damn dog) when I ran into seb walking back up towards my new house, although my mind is a little fuzzy at his exact words but I remember him being with two other boys I did not recognize and he was telling me someone people in the car down the road were coming up to beat me up (dreams.. heh) so me and these 2 boys so I'm standing here I grab a like snapped tent pole off the floor just 2 bits connect by a bit of elastic and smack it fence next to us exclaiming 'this is my weapon!' so now were running up the road towards the alleyway to the back of my new house (we literally moved down the road) Im looking in the tree's just outside the alleyway looking for a bat I have hidden now this is where it starts to get weird the bit of woods im looking for this bat is the edge of the field separating from where I live to where my girlfriend lives but it was different to real life (everything else up this point seemed vividly real and realistic to where I live but in a warped dream like perception this clump of trees was like smudged into each other and while I was looking for the bat I couldn't make out anything it looked so unfamiliar and weird so basically it ends with me getting a different bat and we wait in the alleyway standing but it seems the people in the car cannot get here because they were in a car for whatever logic now this is the last thing I remember from when I wake up at 5am B's dreams in her words I was in bed and rang you, you picked up and said something like 'I love you so much I'm coming over so look out your window I was gonna beat someone up but I'm not' then I look out my window and your standing in the road outside my house and its snowing loads, next thing I know I get you in bed with me and we fall asleep together. (she adds afterwards) And you said something about screaming / shouting I cant remember. Weirdness Okay first of all sorry about the detail of my dream its a mission to read through but I didn't want to leave anything out incase it was important Situation - The situation of the dream correlates which is weird stating 'I was gonna beat someone up but I'm not' over the phone in her dream after experiencing that in my dream. Location - So while time is obviously a strange law of what seems to be abstract physics the locations were quite close while so It seems my thoughts could of taken me to her house had my dream been a different set of events. The warped tree's - I thought to myself had while I was dreaming had I tried to cross that field to get to b's house while I was dreaming It would of most likely of been blocked if it was in the same state I had experienced it earlier with the brown dirt and tree's all merging into a curving inwards force field with all the outlines of the sticks and tree outlined on it. ( hard to explain but basically trying to get through a group of trees which had merged into one physical object with no gaps between them ). So what do you think DV? A truly fascinating experience to say the least we have both agreed to try and to interact with each others dream characters while lucid and record the results. Another thing I went to bed at about half 12 woke up at 5am (to attempt a WBTB) and had not dreamt and b said she went to sleep around 1-2am so the dream times would also some what correlate. Hope we can make some amazing discoveries on here as a community thanks for reading!

Sounds like dream sharing to me. That kind of "close but not exactly right" is typical of shared dreaming. It's a lot like asking different people to draw a tree, and they all draw a different tree. Each dreamer creates their own unique dream. If you two keep comparing dreams, you'll likely experience more of the same.

Hopefully we can make some truly amazing dream discoveries. I am glad I pursued this interest it has changed my perspective on reality to have a rather magical aspect to it .

The exact same type of thing happened with me and my friend. Lately I've been trying to send images to him so about 6 days ago I tried sending him and image about us meeting on an island and some other stuff. Then randomly he tells me about the coolest dream he had four days ago about an island. I was really surprised, luckikly we are both renting a house next year so we can try all the experiments we want.
