Sounds like a reoccurring nightmare, its definitely not whatever superstitious entity your picturing in your head. |

I've had maybe three of these weird experiences in the last 6 months. I'm dreaming away happily, deeply asleep, when I'm woken up by what feels ridiculously real. It feels like someone has a hand on either shoulder and is pushing down hard a few times. Both times this has jerked me out of sleep and frightened the hell out of me. I feel like I bounce back off the bed with each shove and then after a few seconds it is over. There has never been anyone else in the room when I look around. I was wondering if anyone else has had a similar experience? I'm at complete loss as to what it could be. |

I have experienced similar feelings at the beginning of sleep paralysis. Sometimes it leads to a lucid dream, and in others the feeling is so strong that wakes me up. Just a week ago I experienced the feeling that someone was pulling me up taking me by my elbows. As I could not move, and I opted for biting his face because I could not see anything. Biting his face I knew it was futile but I did it for fun. |
