      Thanks again Runeword. I might have had an oobe then after all. Now that I think of it my vision might have gone black. But it was a few years ago when this happened.

      I got to thinking... I still want to achieve an oobe but maybe I should stick with lucid dreaming until I get better control... Maybe I can erase my fears and have a better experience after talking with a guide in the dreamscape (if anyone reading this believes in dream guides). Sorry if I went off topic.

      possibly but i doubt theres any way to really completely erase all fear. once you get a couple experiences the fear diminishes a lot. my experience with guides so far has been that they take more of an in the shadows approach to helping. i really get the sense that we are meant to take charge for ourselves for the most part. there really is nothing to be afraid of though. nothing can hurt you. the worst that can happen is that you will just be annoyed by something trying to distract you from what you really want to do. i think the more experiences you have the less you will worry about boogey men etc. not sure if thats what you're worried about or not.
