Strange night with obe...

Finally, another obe. Seems like it has been so long since my last. My intentions were definately there that night. I remember sleeping for 4 hours and waking up around 2:30 in the morning. I really wanted to talk to my wifes deceased mom and give my wife comfort that she is okay. Anyways, I began with drinking some very strong tea, as I usually do to combat falling asleep right away. I layed down in the dark, relaxed and made each body part heavy and practiced open eye meditation for what seemed to go on for about 30 minutes. Twice during this dession I was JOLTED with goosebumps by something popping out of my peripheral vision, not sure if it was the low light from a street light turning off or what but it definately startled me. Soon after I could feel a small wave of vibrations starting at my head and working their way to my feet. I felt completely energized. I then closed my eyes and began focused breathing and visualization. At first I visualized a senario, then I remember it turning so vivid as if I were there. This must have been around 4:30 or so and I fell asleep. Within an hour or so I would say my obe began. I was in my room by my dresser. Our tv and my wifes butsudan (wife is Japanese and this is a wood alter that her moms ashes are in and where we pray and burn incense) sit on top of it and I was sitting in a swivel chair there which doesn't exist. I remember the sounds kicking in which turned into my whole body vibrating. Somehow the chair swiveled around one time and I popped out of my body. I was floating down the hall and my intentions were there, to go to Japan and talk to her mom, Mitsuko-san. I floated through the wall and when I could see again it seemed almost like I was in a barren void floating in a direction. The sensations of floating were all of 200% there and then some. Maybe I focused on my body too much and I went back into dream mode. I woke up feeling drained and decided to give up for the night. After falling back to sleep I then went on to having a LD for a brief moment and woke up the next morning. I told my wife how close i got bexause she knows what my intentions are. She followed up by telling me that she couldn't sleep because around 5:30 in the morning something happened in the room. She said (describing in her best Japanese way) that she could feel somethingin the room. She said it felt like a very low earthquake like vibration above her. This was very strange and I wonder if it has something to do with me going into vibrations before floating out of my body. The other strange thing is that when I started to think about the direction I floated out of the house, after looking at a atlas with my wife, it was ALMOST the exact direction that her hometown would be from us in Minnesota. I used longitudina l lines to compair this. And the more I started to think about this, bwfore I awoke from my obe, the void I was in seemed like me floating above the ocean and it was dark because there are no lights. Was I traveling to Shizuoka, Japan? I think so. What are your guys thoughts on this? I know that if I want to talk to her that I can probably just think of her instead of traveling to Japan to see her. Lol. I'm still learning about my limitless possibilities. Has anyone here ever tried to contact a family member through OOBE? What was your experience and how did it turn out?

Never "tried to contact" but I run into them a lot since I usually transition from my room in my parents house. Actually it's surprising how few times I run into them considering I'm home in the OBE's
