Thanks for the reply obmij. Why do you think that the guide took the form of my Husband?

Do you remember that Robin Williams movie (What Dreams May Come), I think it was titled(?)

The writers for that film really delved into this subject before having Robin's dream/death guide appear first as his best friend and then as his child.

A later sequence was first of an Asian stewardess he had once admired and then into his 2nd child.

Not ALL of that movie was typical Hollywood attempts at magic. The parts I mentioned were researched well...
