Newbie Question

Hi there,

I have a question about a lucid dream I had - basically wondering if it was an OBE experience. I appreciate your reading it, and any comments. Thank you.

In my lucid dream, I decided to shout "Show me unconditional love!" to the ceiling. All of a sudden I was being sucked out of my body, there were vibrations, and I started feeling fuller and fuller until it felt like my chest was going to explode. My vision flashed green as I floated up to the ceiling towards a circle of stars. I enthusiastically yelled "I love you!" to the sky, then thought to myself - no I. Just love. I felt like I was merging with my surroundings. I started to go through rips in the ceiling straight into blackness, but stopped myself, thinking "I still want to be a person. I have things to do." I climbed down a rope and went back into my body. My vision flashed green again, and suddenly there was a loud, thundering knocking sound. When I woke up, I took out my ear plugs and could just very, very faintly hear someone hammering nails outside, far in the distance. It was the same rhythm as the knocking sound in my dream...

I am new to this kind of stuff, so was wondering if this was an OBE, is this sort of thing safe?

It sounds like a combination of one and astral projection. Very neat experience and thanks for sharing it.

I have a question about your LD. Was it easy to move around or did it feel as if there was no gravity?

Hi there. It's been a while since I had the dream, so my memory isn't perfect, but for most of the dream I could move normally. After shouting "Show me unconditional love!" I floated upwards towards the ceiling/blackness, and could no longer move with the same ease. Hope that helps, and thanks for the interest.
