Dreams of the Afterlife

Has anyone ever had dreams suggestive of being a ghost, or a soul "between lives?"

In some of the dreams where I can fly, I feel like I'm living in hiding (as if my powers of flight made me a superpowered mutant that the government wanted to experiment on, lol), and I find myself looking for places to "roost," so to speak...for unused places up, away from people, that no one is using...in the ceilings of commercial buildings, in the dead space around air ducts, in attics or crawlspaces, or even along support beams in big open indoor spaces, like malls or stadiums.

I recall one dream where I was traveling cross-country for some reason, but I was in a strange city, felt tired, and needed a place to rest. I flew above several streets of older row houses, finally chose one at random, flew in through the closed (!) window, and settled down on the attic floor to sleep.

As I said, it's not the first time I had a dream like that. But for some reason when I woke from this one, I thought back to earlier in the dream, when I had been flying around people to whom I was invisible. I suddenly thought, "I wonder if that's how a ghost sees the world...looking for 'dead space' to hang around in, because they can't quite imagine sleeping outdoors."

Of course, that's just a speculation. But I'm wondering if anyone else has had dreams that (while certainly not proving anything) seem suggestive of the possibility of an "afterlife" memory.

I haven't had any of these dreams personally, but my dreams are usually highly abstract or non-sensical so it's not very surprising to me--but, this is an interesting topic to me.

Yes, I had some LDs (like this one 3 years dead father - Dream Journals - Lucid Dreaming - Dream Views )...

I had also OBEs suggesting that. While in astral, now means more than future and past... I had OBEs to my past, present and future. Also futures after my body ceases to function. I wouldnt lie heavy on images, everyone can have different visions in dependence of his background, believes... or as myself, trying to purge imagination from my mind while traveling.

For me, afterlife after looked like long corridor. On one end are low places... I try not to attach vision of hell, but it looked like the deeper I got the worse it looked. On other side higher places... Again I try not to describe them as heaven... the further I went the more peaceful it was. I'm not sure how much of this was caused by my imagination. I didn't travel there with intention...
I went to hell once because I was waiting my friend in afterlife and she went there

and I went much, much deeper when I tried to help her after we were parted, but I didn't manage to find my way to her before end of OBE.
One of my walk to heaven was from that corridor too, I went to for lack of words for description lighter place... there was something like borderline where was stranger who was scared. Borderline was made of fire. I didn't feel fire, for me it was nothing. He felt it. I helped him to go through. On other part was some kind of man who guided me till he couldn't go any further... But I could and I walked and walked till I have lost connection with that OBE and found myself back in my body.
More unforgettable OBE is some 15 year old. I was walking around my village when I felt hot pain on my back... I looked rearward and I found that I have pair of ~4meter wings made of fire, blueviolet frozen plasma. It was possible to fly on them. I flew... and then after I landed my wings vanished... and I walked... And I saw two kids, girl and boy. They were conscious- they comprehended me. I tried to teach them my technique for traveling. From nearby house big man came... he yelled on me to stop teaching. He wanted to beat me with heavy bar. I felt again hot pain from my back and I had my wings again... I fend interfering man off without any problems... I teached and exercised with children for a while and after short farewell I flew up and to space... I heard some other angel saying to somebody else about me- he(me) deserved to be for long time in heaven.

Do I have to believe that this visions are visions of reality? While I have number of small indices that OBE can be real walking without body, it can be also something like walking through places created through subconscious premonition...

I've died and become a ghost in my dreams, and I've also been to hell. Ghosts, I kind of believe in, not so much hell. That was quite an interesting dream though.
