Thread: Dream Within A Dream

I had the same thing last night.. I was right in the middle of "relations" and I started hearing a loud "peeing" noise, so I ran to the bathroom thinking I was pissing in bed, but I was still dreaming....

Ma opinion, is what we dream is not layered, so what you say is that there is a

P.S.: you reminded me when I was reallly realllllly young, one night a I dreamed that I went pissing, and I pissed in my bed '-.- but the other night I dreamt that I'm going to the toilet again, and I knew I'm dreaming, so I quickly woke up and went to the toilet in RL

I get dreams within dreams occasionally, and one of them from a couple years ago happened as follows (in the order presented):

I was (in the dream) at home going to the computer room, and then i was at the computer. Then the area around the computer turned into another dream, and i could hear my mom's voice coming from somewhere (i assumed it was the previous dream, meaning i was in a dream within a dream), then i eventually was in the computer-game place. At that point i became partially lucid, and was exploring.

Its also a progression from one dream area to another, but all these progressions were within "one" dream place/sequence. Like going deeper and deeper into different areas of perception in the dream. Or "physically" in this case, going from my dream body and dream house into the dream computer game within the same dream place.

Personally i do not think dreams within dreams mean anything that significant (other than the fact that they're interesting 8) )

Edit:

I had a recent dream where i was at a camp (Interlochen arts camp), then i went to sleep in the dream and had a dream about being at the same camp, then i awoke in the same camp dream and was telling other dream characters about my dream i had.

i like to think that every possibly reality is happening at the same time and that when we wake from one dream we are broght into a diffrent dream dreams within a dream suggest something to me. and i think undearstanding them more will help further my control and knowledge
