I think its what you want to interpret it as... |

Hello everyone. I am a firm believer in the supernatural (eg. ghosts and spirits). I had an LD last night involving hugging my grandfather (who has passed, may he Rest in Peace). Could this possibly be his spirit trying to communicate with me through my dreams? |

Do not try and bend the spoon--that's impossible. Instead only try and realize the truth...there is no spoon. Then you will see that it is not the spoon that bends
it is only yourself

Could be you were in need of comfort and that's what the DC was there for. |

Be yourself - everyone else is taken.
I don't have a good answer to your question, but I've wanted to speak with my passed on grandmother a lot lately. Hopefully I can in my next couple LD's. Please post back here if you eventually find your grandfather, and let him RIP. |

That is doubtful. It's like dreaming about celery and then asking, "is the celery trying to communicate with me?" You dream about everything and anything. Of course you're going to dream about your grandfather if he passed away and you cared about him, but a single dream doesn't necessarily mean it's a communication attempt.. |

I just thought it could have been a spirit becaue this is the most vivid dream I have ever had. (or remembered having) i could feel and see everything perfectly, and i can recall it perfectly. |

I'm a beleiver. I also think that this COULD be a spirit trying to communicate with you. Lot of the times spirits communicate with us by dreams or any other ways OUT of the ordinary. But, from a scientific point of view this can just be your brain playing tirkcs on you. If you really missed your grandfather when he passed away, than, it may be just because you still miss him. Anyways, I think it was some spiritual communication. |

I'm not a very religious person myself, I believe in God but, not in the way others may believe in him/her. I believe that when we die, that we're just entering another plane of life, whether spiritual or physical. This may tie into a conversation my friends and I were having a while back about this type of thing. I proposed that when we die we enter a higher form of life, like we take the knowledge we gain from this lifetime, and we're reborn in another part of the universe (or perhaps in a different universe). Maybe when deceased relatives contact us in dreams maybe they are trying to tell us something, or pass on more knowledge to us, or letting us know things before they happen to us. I do not know for sure, alas these are just, my theories in the end. |

From my point of view, it was just a dream character who had taken the role as your grandfather. I'm an atheist afterall, so that's pretty much the only explenation for me. |

Lost count of how many lucid dreams I've had

I'm amazed - and I guess I shouldn't be - that so many people who claim to be aspiritual or atheists would jump in on a post entitled, "Believers in ghosts please read.." |

IMO it was just a dream. But who knows what it really was? I'm not an Atheist like Marvo, i'm probably more Agnostic (i think? agnostic means not quite sure, right?). |

Your grandfather is well and alive. The only way people are proven to continue life after death is through memory. We remember people after they die for their relations and accomplishments. They are copied into are memory. The memory is then brought back to life in a dream. |
