AP vs LD

This is the first time I enter this part of the forum, and I'm getting really confused with what is a lucid dream and what an astral projection. Seeing that in an AP you can interact with realities and have consequences, how can i tell an AP from a LD? I don't want to do something i might regret.

I don't know, I've skimed the Nap Induced Astral Projection (NIAP) Technique and it said: quote "Remember before practicing any Astral Projection technique, to fully understand the dangers of the Planes. You can be seriously injured or even worse if not careful, a fate worse then death for sure. Such things such as Night Stalkers and Succumbi can be a real pain in the neck if your not careful to avoid them."

So well, know the differences between AP/LD?

A Lucid Dream is a dream where you know it's a dream, so you can control your own actions in a dream. So knowing that, you know it's different because Astral Projection is when you're outside your physical body (I think).

Now I don't know much (anything at all) about Astral Projection, but it sounds cool. Wether it's actually an act of entering other realms, or if it's just a dream thing, it's cool anyways. But saying that you could suffer 'a fate worse then death if you're not carefull' just sounds a bit too sci-fi book-like. But don't hang me up on it, I know nothing about it

What Succumbi and Incumbi do is suck out your energy through astral sex, and then you end up suffering in the real world. But the LD vs AP (or other wise called OBE) is easy to explain. In an LD, you control everything. You can make the clouds turn brown, make the dirt turn pink, and make the oceans turn yellow. In an AP, you only control yourself. You can make illusions that are like in an LD, such as making objects appear and such, but they tend to fade away really fast, or rather "melt" away. LD you control everything, AP you cant. But, the dangers of the AP? Just dont be a threat to anyone or anything else, and the dangers already out there wont bother you. Just think if it as a power trip, you do something bad to someone, and another person who is bad wants to show you up by doing something worse to you. So just go into the AP with good intentions, and you will be fine. And for the record, i made that tutorial when i had just been reading and only experienced maybe 3 or 4 astral projections, so i didnt have as much knowledge as i had now, and i appologize for that. If i could edit, i would lol.

Ah well, if you've explained it then it's all cool. I think I'll read up on Astral Projection once I get lucid dreaming right But that line 'fate worse than death' just keeps feeling a bit unrealistic for me... Something a witch hunter from a book would say... Oh well, I'll shut up, since I still haven't got a clue about what I'm talking about.

They just say these things to make it more exighting to you, and lol at the Succumbi . eh, I know I don't believe in this stuff and shouldn't be here.
