Can you give me a general idea of how you meditate? I mean I'm interested in auras and the like and it seems your way of meditating is helping you see them to some degree. I usually sit in lotus, but, I'm interested in the steps afterwards

I do a lot of meditation in the woods, in my bathroom(I block out all light).

Lotus, sitting up crossed legs with a mild "om" are the basics.. other than that I do random positions.

I've been doing this for years now. Meditation is less about the position and more about being able to let your mind go.
This was that cult, and the prisoners said it had always existed and always would exist, hidden in distant wastes and dark places all over the world until the time when the great priest Cthulhu, from his dark house in the mighty city of R'lyeh under the waters, should rise and bring the earth again beneath his sway.

ok, but, is there anything specific that I should do or just sit in whatever position and clear my mind? How do you meditate on something? Sorry I'm going off-topic but I was never able to get these specific questions answered before.

The point is to clear your head of it's normal distracted thought process and thus increase understanding and peaceful mind. A good thing to focus on is breathing-you can close your eyes and visualize it or try to feel it and/or count the length of each breath. What works best is different for everyone.
Meditation on the impermanence of existence is a must for overcoming the fear of death.

Thanks for the tip, I was thinking about breathing, wasn't too sure. If you were to meditate on something, like let's say the third eye, what does it do?
