I´ve just gotta say it: HILARIOUS!! Damn these threads make me laugh There is so much to say, but damn, I´ll just put here some basics.. First of all: Most of the stuff here is bullshit. There is some true talking here, but not much. What is true is, when people talk about biological things. Like shared dreaming. That can be true in the sense that science can almost proof this. You see, the human brain has been proof to send weak signals to other brains (like ants, but much weaker). Then the unbelievalby complicated brains (were they 1000 000 000 000 times more complicated than a PC?) take the signal and god knows what happens then, but that can result in some sort of shared dream expirience. And I´m not sure about this, so lets just not argue about that, I can be wrong. But what I mean is, that can be explained by science. That is true talking. What is bullshit is this: Like magical rocks. Spirits (or like dream weirdos). Auras. Weird energies. World ending stories. And everything like that. Let me explain: Lets first take the weird magical rocks, that you put under your pillow to sleep better or have lucid dreams or less nightmares or whatever. BULLHSHIT! You know what is really the thing behind them? The placebo effect! Let me explain: When you put your weird rock under your pillow, it has no freaking effect. Are you seriosly telling me, that the rocks increase melatonin production for better sleep, create serotonin for nighttime happiness, increases the electrical traffic in your prefrontal cortex for better lucid dreaming and so on? Nope. The rocks have NO EFFECT WHATSOEVER!!! The effect comes from inside the brain. You see, it has been known for about 60 years that when the brain thinks something (you = your brains), it acts like it. So when the brain think, that the rock has some effect, it creates it itself. So it increases melatonin levels, creates serotonin, and increases traffic in the prefrontal cortex. Now, this is freaking CLEAR FACT!!! So if I´d go, and change your magical rock to any rock, and you though it was the same, you´d have the same effect as always. Nothing to do with some weird "energies" Then lets take the "spirits", particularly the ones in your dreams. Now this is a hard subject, cuz someone will find a hole from this and take that as the point of argue. But anyway: Lets say that you are dreaming. You ask a DC, what they mean in your dream. Cant you see?? The DC will answer you ANYWAY, and it doesn´t matter, what it "says", it is just a hallucination. So if it says "Your higher self", you´ll go "OMG, I´ve gotta post to beyond dreaming!!". If it says "A dream assassin", you´ll go "OMG, I´ve gotta post to beyond dreaming!!". If it says nothing, you´ll go "OMG OMG OMG!! I´ve GOTTA post to beyond dreaming". Spirits in your dreams: You´ll think they are spirits, whatever they say, and they have to say something. Then lets take the weird auras. Lets say that you sense a happy aura. What the heck does that mean? I mean, happiness is just serotonin in brain, which puts on a process, that makes your brain (YOU) feel good. And how the heck do you "sense" that aura of the other dude? Maybe, just maybe just maybe, just MAYBE, not maybe, but FOR SURE, it is just you reading the other dude´s body language. No weird energies here Aura: You just normally notice, how the other guy or gal is feeling, and you just have to make a big thing about it and post it here as some "aura" shit. And my favorite, the one that has its finger on all of these. ENERGIES. Dudes and gals, accept it, there are three forms of energy: Motion, heat and potential. And that is it! I dont even understant your "energies". If you someday discover a new type of "energy", feel free to go to a lab, and ask for super accurate measurements taken from you. If they measure some energy in you, that has not got a source, then congraz! You will become a multi-billionare as you will sell your physic-law braking, free energy creating source to russia. Weird energies: BULLLLLLLLLSHIT!!!! Now, here I only explained maybe 1% of the stuff that is being talked in this sub-forum, and I could have explained you even more, but dude, I´m no superman. But now, hear my words: EVERY SINGLE SUBJECT HERE HAS AN ACCURATE, SCIENTIFICAL EXPLANATION!!! And here is another truth: I am right. Everything I say has been proven. Nothing you say makes any sense (when talking about bullshit). THE ONLY WAY THAT YOU TRY TO SURVIVE IN ARGUMETS IS BY INSULTING, AND FINDING LITTLE FLAWS FROM THE POSTS OF THE PEOPLE ARGUING WITH YOU. ADMIT IT!!! Now, I know what this is going to lead to. You people, who talk bullshit here, are going to tell me something that has no sense, and then just continue telling that bullshit. I know it. Ok some of that stuff is probably rubbish but what do YOU know that makes you so intelligent and special.... have you lived from the start of the universe and are able to explain everything? No offence but your still at school and still have your mummy make dinner for you i dont think your really in any authority to comment on energies etc. being "BS"... science accounts for like 10% of human knowledge and is NO WHERE NEAR understanding the human brain and the nature of the universe etc... Do you think people like buddhist monks are just wasting theyre time imagining things?!? LOTS of people around the world talk about chi energy or some other name to describe what is basically the same thing, it clearly DOES exist and maybe if you trained yourself you would be able to feel it as well..... probably not though judging by your comments lol...
