I don't think I have the answers yet, especially about reality
I'm still exploring the idea of consciousness creating reality. The consciousness that created that universe is the one believers have called God - except they are also apart of this bubble as co-creators, parts of the whole consciousness.
I did have an interesting LD last night, where my only goal was to explore the dream and nothing else. This made me realize how every thought, doesn't matter how tiny it was, is always manifests in the dream some where. Some of my bigger thoughts made big changes in the dream. Like if I think this giant blob monster is going to attack me, he tries to attack me - or if I think he's a lonely blob monster - I find him sulking in the corner.
I never before have seen how the smaller, more subtle thoughts have manifested. But I found every thought. Some of the smaller thoughts didn't have a big impact on the dream - they just manifested as taped pictures on the wall. And only when I go up to the wall and examine the pictures do I realize, I was thinking this earlier. If hadn't examined the wall, I wouldn't have seen how those thoughts manifested.
This gave me a different perspective of the LD that I think can relate to reality
the bulk of the dream is created by the subconscious. My subconscious seems to magically create this world with characters. Since I'm not conscious of my subconscious activity, the creation of this dream world 'seems' out of my control
but its my consciousness thats writing the story. It's the one deciding what is good and what is bad, what will happen, and what changes take place in the dream world
from the very moment you start dreaming, you have been making 'changes' to the dream world, re-creating it or creating within its matrix. The subconscious only created a platform, or a matrix - after that its entirely up to you.
I believe reality is the same way in this respect. That we are co-creating within a given matrix
I wouldn't describe the dream as a 'place'. Because the mechanism behind the dream are thoughts, and thoughts are always changing. But, I do believe that within this thought manifestation illusion - there can be other real conscious beings interacting with you
Because while last night made me realize that yes every thought will manifest in the dream - not all dream characters have followed my thoughts. I've met many dream characters in the past who didn't do as I thought they would. They've surprised me. I've had life like conversations with these characters, non of my thoughts, good or bad influenced them in any way what so ever. They were just doing their own thing. And, sometimes I see them in more than one dream.
I'm open to the idea of the astral and that they were real people that I was interacting with
But I'm also open to the idea that they weren't just real people, they were me. They were manifestations of my subconscious directly, not mindless zombies to fill in the space, but actual conscious dream characters filled with my subconscious as a way for my subcon. to communicate to me. And since my subcon. was trying to communicate directly to me - it wasn't going to let me tell it what to do or say.
Either scenario imply something BIG. Because the latter implies that the subconscious can be conscious, and a consciousness you are not perceiving as your own. Implying, your subconscious can actually be the consciousness of another being that you are apart of, such as your higher self, your I AM presence or God.
Or rather, there is no subconscious. Only conscious that either perceives or doesn't perceive itself.
