Can a night stalker physically hurt you?

Im not saying i believe in this nightstalker idea, but ive read some posts where people say they can physically hurt you or kill you...
On the homepage.. (i think..it might of been another website) i read that lucid dreaming or regular dreaming is 100% safe...
I dont get it.
Also, please be open minded and not mean...i just found out about this whole topic today.

I've never heard any reports of that happening. At worst people feel a bit of residual pain that quickly fades once they wake. So either they don't do it or they don't know how.

But it is possible. I figured out how to do it by accident, but I'm now telling how. I managed to give one of the NS in my dreams a limp. Don't know if he had it in RL (I think so), but he had that limp when he showed up in other people's dreams.

I wouldn't worry too much about the night stalkers... the tooth fairy will get you first, and I hear she is one violent Biatch... with a taste for fear and blood. She wants to wear your teeth as jewlery, and she carries rusty knives to get what she wants.

If you're going to believe in nonsense like NightStalkers, please take the conversation to another forum. Lucid Dreaming is such a wonderful subject, and it makes me sick to see it being dragged through the dungheap of mindlessness in this way.

It's already hard enough to get people to take it seriously, without this kind of utter moronic, mindless and childish nonsense.

i dont know if its true or not but i have had a dream that i got hit in the face with a base ball bat and i woke up with a black eye. as far as i know i didnt get hit by anything in my actual sleep but idk....

No. The "old hag" is what people in olden times would call Sleep Paralysis (not being able to move). They'd spin tales about how a witch could be "riding you at night" and keep you from moving.

Obviously if they have direct access to your brain they can damage your mind. And who's to say they get kicked out as soon as you wake up? It's not like your brain is plugged into the dream internet while you're asleep and they can only upload to you while the cable is connected. Your brain stays inside your head and that's where it always goes. You can't flick the switch and turn it off. They'll come in when ever and where ever they want. They can alter your thoughts. How can I know that? Because if you're seeing them in your dreams, they're already doing that. What do you think "seeing a Nightstalker in your dreams" means? You think there's light reflecting off them and into your eyes? No, they're manipulating the perception right at the source. Whatever you see is what they've altered your thought processes to make you see. So it's not like they can magically destroy your body, but if they can manipulate your perceptions, well, that's about a hundred times more dangerous.

You can be hurt, but you can't be killed. I remember in one non-lucid dream I had, I was in a car accident that would have easily killed me. I was in a pick-up truck and sped up to about 145MPH top speed and the truck flipped as I went off of a hill, and crashed. I was going too fast and there was a bend in the road. Now in the dream, I was very hurt, but when I woke up I had some chest/stomach pain that quickly disappeared after I recorded the dream. If Nightstalkers are real, they can only fuck with your emotions, they can't kill you. The only thing to fear is fear itself.

Man you gotta love the dreams where you wake up and your heart is pounding from something that happened in a dream, it feels so real and your relieved it was just a dream.
