Thanks Iris for the input. My friend told me that if I ever learn to astral project to come pick him up so I do have consent from him. Also if this works I'll report it here immediately
So you can have more than one spirit guide? Also, so I can be cleared up on this but what purpose exactly does a spirit guide serve? Is a spirit guide the same thing as a dream guide? Sorry for the bombardment of questions. One more thing, not to be too nosy, but how long have you been astral projecting Iris?
Hey man. glad you like the avatar. I found it by googling "Dragon Spirit". Anyway, if it is possible to yank someone out of their body, I am sure only very advanced yogis and monks can do something like that.
It's much better for your friend to also put forth the effort, and learn to astral project himself.
Astral projection is fun, and there is a lot to be learned from it, but it should be taken seriously. I was totally obsessed with it for a year. I lived as a hermit. All I did was work, read books, and practice astral projection and remote viewing during that time.
We all have spirit guides. I am learning more and more about my own. The purpose? That's like asking what the purpose of our soul is. It's a lot more complex than protection and guidance, but you have to find out about your spirit guides yourself.
I only recently learned the concept of dream guides. I tried to create one, as a manifestation of my subconscious, but he hasn't reappeared since. A couple nights ago, a little gnome appeared in a lucid dream, encouraging me to walk on water. He may be an individual entity. I am not sure.
Let me share a story with you about astral projection, and experimenting with a friend.
I was infatuated with this beautiful tease of a woman, with long blond hair, and big brown eyes. She was a messed up person. She was telekinetic. (I witnessed it.) We communicated telepathically all the time. We would stare into each others' eyes, smiling silently for sometimes 5 minutes at a time. I would say, "I know."
She would say, "You know what?"
I would say, "The thing we are both thinking, but neither of us are saying."
Then, she'd just giggle and nod.
We had a very intense psychic connection. I thought this would be the perfect person to practice astral projection with, but she wasn't interested in it herself. I have always wanted to go on astral trips with another person, but I have never found anyone willing.
Anyway, I asked her if I could visit her in her dreams instead.
She said, "Sure."
So, that night I astral projected into one of her dreams. She didn't see me, but I saw her dream vividly, not interacting with any of it. Some of it was sad, and kind of creepy.
When I saw her the next day, I told her what I saw. I thought she'd either dismiss it as totally irrelevant, or be pleased with my skill. Instead her eyes widened, and a look of fear and shock came across her face.
"Get out of my head," she whispered, shaking her head in disbelief.
"What?" I asked incredulously. "Is she joking?" I thought to myself.
"GET OUT OF MY HEAD! GET OUT OF MY HEAD!" she started screaming at me.
I sat there in confusion. She calmed down, and told me about the dream that she had.
Then, she angrily said, "Don't ever do that again. I know what I said, but don't ever do that again to me. You really freaked me out, man. That's not cool."
My point to this story? Astral projection is real, and is not to be trifled with. It can be fun, but it must be taken seriously, and respected, like the ocean. The ocean is my playground, my temple, my mother, and will teach me humility if I think I am invincible.
There are many books on astral projection and remote viewing (which are similar, but not exactly the same.)
I hope you have lots of fun, and learn a lot. Make sure you learn how to ground yourself so you don't float away when you don't want to!
