Hello and welcome to DreamViews. SP stands for Sleep Paralysis. A helpful list of acronyms and terminology can be found here. http://www.dreamviews.com/community/...ad.php?t=71202

Sleep Paralysis (SP) is something which your body does every single night when you go to sleep (except for some occasions, but just ignore that for now).

What we would always talk about is achieving sleep paralysis while still awake.

Now, I cannot explain to you right here on the spot how to achieve SP, that would take ages. So, check out this tutorial

Yeah what they say is SP, and you go through it every night. The only reason why you get scared of it is because sometimes you wake up before your body does, and you are frozen. You are always frozen when you are sleeping, but you are asleep most of the time so it does not scare you, you are off in dream land.

Around here, many people use the term Sleep Paralysis loosely. People use it to refer to many types of body-centric hypnagogia.
