Well, it's not that exciting. Anyways, so I went to bed at around 10 pm. I wake up an hour later and I start to see on the corner of my wall, a complex network of "black strings" almost like a 3D black widow web that was glowing black. You know, black widow webs in real life are all "messy". As I tried to focus on the "web", the "web" began to grow in size. I wasn't scared or anything, in fact I was so curious as to what this thing was that I actually tried to get closer. As soon as I did that, the strange "web" thing dissipated. Now, a few nights later I found myself in the same situation. Except this time I saw a large tumble weed right in front of my face. Now again, this tumble weed was made out of this glowing complex black string. What do you guys think is happening. Both incidents happened at night after an hour of sleep.

The time between the states of sleep and awake can be really confusing and realistic. Anyway, only you can tell what it really was. One time when about 7 years old I saw a dream about breathing under water. It was so realistic that I actually told my best friend with great confidence that I could swim under the water and breathe. Many other experiences occur during school or lectures when you are really tired. You actually try really hard to stay awake but still fall asleep. And then it has been really freaky for me

You had a hallucination right as you were getting ready to go into SP. Like Robot_Butler said; you should use these experiences to go into a WILD.

Thanks for responding people Yes, after doing some research, I found out I was having these Hypnagogia sleep patterns. So "Kordan" and "Jeff777" you guys are correct. As for the peeps thing, I usually use "peeps" to generalize the public, nothing more. Aside from that, I haven't been good at lucid dreaming, so I'm going to take "Kordan's" advice and see if I can use this tool to enter a lucid dream. Once again, thanks for help and responses. Jim.
