      yinyang, shared dreaming pairings

      I notice that many shared dreaming pairings start out with a male and female.

      Wampuss and Dannon Oneironaut

      King Yoshi and Megan

      mrdeano and Ezzie Ezz

      MoSh and X

      Nomad and Raven

      An interesting observation. I had a discussion with one of my waking life spirit guides. He told me the combination of the energies work together well for such things as shared dreaming. I think that's maybe why we often fall into these opposite gender pairings, though it's not necessary. I keep having more and more shared dreams of MoSh, yet I am mostly non-lucid in them.

      i would speculate to say that sexual desire has a part to play.
      The sex desire between men and women is a very very very powerful attractor, even though individuals may be in stable relationships elsewhere.
      Its easier to swim where the current is already flowing.
      later when we have learnt to dream share we might not need the boost of sexual energy currents to give us the initial boost.

      This is my completely mental specualtion on the subject.

      Ps i find dreaming with members of the opposite sex easier because of this.

      I'm suprised you didn't put morrigan with me. I have had a very hard time reaching her in dreaming. We apperantly meet a lot. She has been absent overall this past week. She also has another male dreaming partner. I am wondering if I should find someone new.

      Actually this holds consistent with me. The first time I shared dreams it was with my boyfriend. It worked so well because we were close IRL and then we would meet in the dream state, too. Our attraction to each other probably helped. It would also explain why it got harder as we drifted apart and he started looking elsewhere for female companionship.
