No order or method to the madness, just random dreams that I found interesting and worth keeping track of.
Pulling trees out of the ground, I magically turn them into boards and make a huge pile of them several hundred feet behind me. I plan to build a bunch of things, so I need lots of them. Still leaving some trees in the forest, I quickly gather more than I need just in case I get carried away with construction. Just moving my awareness around, I don't have a visible body, but still manage to physically interact with the world, and rip trees out of the ground just fine. It's easy to float to and fro as I do this.
Riding my bicycle up a really beautiful hill through a summer meadow, the road continues into a cool forest tunnel, thick with trees and vegetation. I go a few hundred feet into it, then turn around to zoom down the road really fast on my bike. I go too fast, and can't stay on the road. Trying not to crash, I go into the meadow off to my right, and bounce to a stop before walking back to the road to continue on. Lots of fun! I reach home at the bottom of the hill, and feel a sharp poke on my hand. I look and there are several small spiders on me, apparently biting me. My hand and upper arm start to go numb, followed by my shoulder. They seem to have a powerful venom, so I try to brush them off without killing them so they stop biting me. As soon as I brush them off, I notice more on me. Using a soft leaf, I brush those off as well. Now that I appear to be spider free, I prepare to take a shower. Suddenly, I am covered with the little spiders, and also a single other bug, not very large, but with a painful bite. It is very strong, and I can't brush this one off. I have to pinch my skin together and grab it to remove it from my arm. Tossing it aside, it runs really fast. Not sure if it is going to get me again, I am quickly distracted by the several hundred tiny venomous spiders all over my arms and legs. I also feel something on my back but can't see it. Trying to get all the spiders off harmlessly, as they bite me, I flinch a little, and probably hurt a few of them. It takes me a while, but I manage to get all of them off that I can see, and quickly get in the shower to the relative safety of the running water. I suspect that when I veered off into the meadow, I picked up all those spiders on me somehow.
Walking along a sidewalk in Germany, I'm trying to find my hotel room. The whole time, I am squirting a bottle of crack sealant into the sidewalk cracks with precision accuracy as a way of keeping track of where I've been so I don't get lost. I tell myself Hansel and Grettle did it, so it must be an effective method. I miss the street I should turn down, and the road enters some magical woodlands. Vibrant green trees everywhere, and a field filled with puff balls - white and gold. I wish I had a camera, but instead, burn the image into my mind before turning back. Distracted by the crack sealant, I miss the turn again, and as I continue, the road takes me into a deserted desert town, with dry earth cracked all around me, and sand blowing in the hot afternoon under a very strong sun. I've definitely gone too far now, so I turn back again and go back up the road, still squirting crack sealant along the sidewalk so I don't get lost...
A friend and I are chased out of a Tibetan village by angry men trying to kill me with rocks and sticks. We run down a trail through the woods, straight into an old WWII tank, shooting directly at us. The tank shots don't go through big trees, but get stuck inside, and then explode, completely obliterating the trees. The same happens with rocks that we try to hide behind. We turn and run through more of the forest, off of any trail. Two people on a dirt bike are riding through the woods opposite of us, and 100ft to our right. I quickly drop to the ground so they don't see us, but they do. The person on the back of the dirt bike has a fully automatic rifle, and what appears to be lots of ammo. We take cover behind some huge trees. I can see through one of the trees, and notice the rifle being aimed directly at me through the tree. So I crouch down as a bullet grazes my back, burning and tearing some of my skin off as it passes. This motivates me strongly to find safety from all this chaos. My friend and I run to a rope-bridge that crosses a large chasm, but soon find that we are now surrounded, people who want us dead on both sides of the bridge. I kneel down, and draw a symbol I've never seen before, looking mostly like a 4. As I draw it, I say something about "We will be safe". It glows a bit. I trace it again, saying the same words, and it glows more. I repeat that a third time, semi-aware that we will be shot in a matter of seconds here on the bridge. The symbol glows brightly, radiating light all over, and I am immediately transported to Hell! Standing on an invisible energy floor in the middle of a ring of gnarly floating rocks, glowing red and on fire, this whole mass just floats far above what looks like the ground level. Lots of other flaming / glowing rocks float around, most are massive, the size of multiple cruise liners. There are stone bridges and passageways leading from one to the other. I feel safe here, because I doubt any of my attackers would actually go to hell, even if it was just to kill me. I seem to be alone in Hell, no one else around. All I hear is flames, and the creaking of really hot rocks. It all looks quite amazing. I walk down a rock staircase to a lower level, and find myself face to face with a massive demon. About 15 times my height, very thin, his feet and hands are massive blades, and he appears to be completely composed of strong metal. He steps on me, cleaving me in two rather effortlessly. Instead of dying, I find myself in one piece again nearby this same beast. Mostly still feeling happy to be free from those people shooting at me, I'm not afraid of this demon at all. Sensing this, he walks away disappointed. I walk along a rock path, either side of which is a vast expanse of molten rock, glowing bright orange and yellow, gently undulating as it flows around. I come across another giant demon beast. This one looks like a combination of a pit-bull, the incredible hulk, and a giant boulder with massive spikes on it. This demon is bulging with muscles and thick, rough skin, mostly black, but glowing red in the creases. Kind of the texture of a massive tree with big chunky tree bark. He has big spikes on his shoulders, and lots of pointy fangs, sort of drooling as he growls at me. Since I went to hell to be safe, I'm not afraid of him. He charges me, and I just watch to see what happens. He bites me, eating the top half of my body. Everything goes black for a bit, then I re-materialize right in front of him again, just watching curiously. He too gets discouraged and leaves. They seem to only enjoy mauling me when I'm afraid. I explore around a bit, taking in the massive mountains of glowing spikey rocks, and rivers of magma. The whole ambiance of this place is a rather soothing red/orange/yellow color. I find it pleasing to my eyes. I then wake up to my room being only a degree or two below body temperature, and I've sweat through everything. A similar temperature perception to the dream.
Driving around town to post flyers at different shops, I realize that it is a lot easier with a car than on a bicycle. I notice the front windshield is cracked all the way down, and should be fixed, but I am prioritizing fixing the engine if anything on this old clunker car. I look at the different shops around, a liquor store, a liquor accessory store, and a sandwich shop that's not quite opened yet. I go in the sandwich shop and get the owner's attention. Asking about leaving some there, he says I can leave just 1. So I do just that, and walk out the door. All the other shops are closed because it's too early in the morning. Driving down the road with my friend, it's very snowy now. I tell her I want to go somewhere, but don't tell her where. I get stuck at the bottom of a hill in front of the house I grew up in. In 3rd gear, the tires just spin. I downshift to 2nd, drop the RPMs a bit, and do better, but still not enough traction. A couple cars drive past us easily. We get out of the car and climb up the side of the road, but it is also too slippery to walk. We just fall and slide back down. I try again, and am more gentle with my motions, and stick my fingers into the snow for more of a hold, and climb up successfully. I point out some bushes under the snow she can grab onto. We get to the top and sit down to rest. Sitting right on the ground, I realize how cold my fingers and toes are. Having had frost bite a few years back, they get colder easier, and it wasn't a good idea to stick them right into the snow like that. I tell my friend "This is why I don't do stuff like this anymore" as I shake my hands to indicate they're really cold. She tells me I need a girlfriend to help me warm up. I think she's right. I remember my good friend from school lives right about here. I point off to the right where a house stands a few hundred feet down a long driveway and say, "That's her house" We're now in a car, with another friend from school, and he asks me if she's my girlfriend. I tell him, "No, but I like her. I'm not sure what will happen between us though." He asks me, "How long have you known her?" "Since going to school" He pauses to think... "So ,bout 3 years then?" I don't answer, but think there were 3 years of college, plus 4 of high school, and a few more after college, so more than 8. We drive past a cool fun looking part of the forest next to the road, and suddenly I'm outside, walking in it. Admiring the cool trees, and space between the forest growth, I walk alongside the road. It looks even cooler above a ridge. I climb up a steep hill to go there, but once I see it, it is just a regular forest, and the part I'm already on is prettier. I hold onto a few branches as I make my way down the steep part. A couple of them break when I grab them, making it a risky descent. I reach a point where there are only a few trees to hold onto, then it is too steep to walk. The trees are good sized, but I test them before committing to their support. Each one of them breaks loose from its base and falls down the hill. Happy that I didn't go for it before testing them, I notice my room mate who I hadn't seen before behind me. "I don't know about this man, I'm turning back" he tells me, and walks away. I follow him, it is an easy route. Once I am low enough near the road, I turn around, and take a safer path alongside the road this time. I stumble into my dad's house, with a girl I really like accompanying me. We go upstairs toward my room. She goes into my room right as I notice my younger brothers and sisters are home. They run up to greet me. I give them all hugs and we talk a bit. The youngest tells me, "I didn't think you were coming home so soon!" "I didn't know I was either - It's good to see you!" I see my dad and step mom, and greet them too, getting a sort of cold response from my step mom, but I forget about it. Remembering the girl I was with, I want to spend more time with her, so I invite her outside to help me mow the lawn. It seems like a strange request, but I don't really intend to mow the lawn, I just want to get her outside. Suddenly, I'm outside, but with my other room mate. He asks me about mowing the lawn. I tell him, "just a little path" and point to a path that is already mowed. I grab a hand powered mechanical mower and start pushing it. He grabs the electric mower and asks me if it would be better. I tell him, "It would be, but I'm just doing this little area here, so I'm just gonna use the old school push mower." I push it along the path, and it churns up dried cut grass, cutting a bit of the new growth as I go. Now, the girl is with me, but it's winter. I feel like once we get away from the house things will be better somehow. I have her follow me, but it is a long journey. We are outside already, but under the porch. At the edge of the porch, we climb down a fence, then go under a stairway with a low overhead, and reach another climbing part. I try to make sure I'm not out-climbing her, unsure of her skill. She is keeping up just fine. ...woken up by my room mate, the power went out, he wanted to make sure I wasn't late for work. I have the night off.
