Really vivid non-lucid dream I had the other night. I think it was either monday night or Tuesday night. The dream starts off with me and a few of my friends hanging out in my old house on Adolph street in Rockford. Everything inside the house was exactly the way I remembered it as a kid. I remember vividly who all was there (for the sake of this note I'll just notate them with a single letter.) I remember my friends K, S, B, and possibly M being there. We were all just hanging out and talking when for some reason we all decided to step outside. It was mid winter (actual mid winter...with snow on the ground) I don't know why we decided to go outside but that was all forgotten when we noticed something strange going on in the house next door. The main front door was wide open so we could see into the house through the screen door. Inside I could see the silhouette of a skinny woman, pacing around her house and clutching her head as if she were in pain. Apparently this person was a friend of both K and S and so they let themselves in the house to see what was up. Inside I could hear the woman screaming. I walked inside the house behind them. The layout of the house was not unlike my own next door. The carpet was a strange brownish color, the walls were a fake wood-like look. The couch of this house was placed against the right wall right as you walk into the door, and her TV was directly on the opposite wall. The kitchen and dinning room were further into the house. They were smaller, with one small table for meals. The house itself was dimly lit. I turned to the woman to find that she was abnormally tall. Her limbs were very long and skinny. Throughout the dream I realized that her arms and legs only seemed to grow longer. Her skin was a pale grey, almost dead like. She had long brown hair about down just past her shoulders. She looked like any average woman about my age. She saw that we had come into her house, and didn't even recognize any of us, even K, and S who were supposedly her friends. She didn't even speak to us directly, only pacing around her living room screaming and saying things like "i don't want to die" and just real disturbing things. She would switch from forming complete sentences and thoughts to just speaking gibberish and swearing. All the while she was doing this her face would be contorted and strange. After a few moments of this she sat down on her sofa and just began wailing and saying things like "I will take your soul" but the voice that said this was not her own. Right then I knew exactly what was happening. I found myself to be a little frightened and taken by surprise. Even in non-lucid dreams these types of things don't usually scare me (at least not since I was real young.) I told everyone to meet me outside of the house. We stepped out onto the porch of the house. I turned to both K and S and before even saying my idea they seemed to beat me to the punch. S turned to me and said "she's possessed isn't she?" I just nodded my head yes. I then replied "but I know what to do." I began gathering some things that I could use for an exorcism, but before I could begin both K and S said that they could handle it, and she was their friend. It almost seemed like they did not believe I had the knowledge and skill to perform such a task. So I said "ok" and stepped back to see what they had planned to do for this situation. All of their efforts seemed useless. After what seemed like several minutes of failure I took them aside and said "look, I think you are going about this all wrong, I've got everything I need here to do this, let me try and if nothing works then you can try again." They agreed and so I began my work. I placed sacred stones around her in a circle along with a sponge like material that was also blessed. I told K and S, "these particular items will absorb the bad energy of the demon, and will prevent it from escape while we help the girl." I then took out some holy water and began an exorcism. The dream kind of blurred beyond then but the next thing I knew the girl was fine, sleeping on her couch. S and K pulled me aside on the porch. All S could say to me was "thank you." The dream ended.
