    1. Back to School, smoking up with a granny!

      NORMAL
      DREAMING

      REFLECTIONS

**** This is my dream log from the night before last night, as I never got round to writing them down on here. I had no dreams last night, which seems to happen whenever I have dreams in my mind that haven't been written here ****

I went to bed quite late last night, at about 2am. I woke up at around 9:30am with dreams remembered. I wrote them down and went back to sleep, as I was still sleepy. I was hoping to wake up at about 11am, with a healthy 8 hours sleep, but no. My body decided to wake up at 1pm

      9:30am

      1) I was in a school or college classroom with many pupils. I was sat next to my ex-girlfriend Caroline, and we were back together or at least trying, as we were very happy with eachothers company. We seemed happier than ever, and I seemed to be acting more myself than I usually did when we were previously together. It was a dreary, wet afternoon, and there were no lights turned on. Open blinds let in the wet afternoon light. We were watching a film on a projector, but I don't know what film. As we were waiting for the film to start, there was adverts, but not on the screen - in real life. It was for Tesco, and a man who I recognized from my job at the swimming pool was the host. He was showing us the new Argos-esq conveyor belt system for showing the items on sale. This probably came from the other day at my other Job in Trespass, where all the customers were mucking up our stock, and we said it would be so much easier to have an argos system of bringing items out on demand. The man was amusing, but I don't remember why. The film was very enjoyable, and I saw a pack of five raspberry maom rectangles to the left of me that I had been eating. I was holding Caroline's hand, squeezing it flirtatiously and kissing it. She didn't seem to mind, and returned the squeezing, but wasn't particularly affectionate about it. The film came to an end, and the lights came on, followed by everyone including Caroline other than myself leaving the room immediately. I asked her, "Was that it???!", surprised at the shortness, but she informed me that we were just stopping for an advert break. Instead of just sitting through the adverts, we all left to the library. It was her start of year induction, so she wandered off to sit with her class, as she is a second year and I've just finished college. I texted her saying that I loved the library, and that I'd just borrowed a new book, although I'm pretty sure I hadn't. The library had a similar lighting to in the film room, and it looked like a massive version of my local library. A teacher with short, strawberry blonde hair of about 50 years old began to take the register. I was excited for Caroline's name to come up, as I wanted to see how her strange surname was pronounced by the teacher, as well as how the class would react to hearing her name. She was near the start, although she should have been around the middle, and when her name was called (pronounced correctly) she waited a moment, before very quietly saying 'here'. She had put her head in her hands against the desk she was sat at, as if she was extremely ashamed. The teacher didn't hear her name, which was ridiculous as despite how quiet she had replied, she was sat right next to the teacher, and I was stood about 10 metres away and heard it. Her name was called again for this reason, and she said here faster and slightly louder. There were sniggers from pupils, including a boy amongst a group in secondary school uniform, looking too young for college. Suddenly, it had finished, and Caroline was getting ready to leave the library, presumably to return to the film. I couldn't find her, and received a text from her containing two long, confusing words that I had never heard before, leaving me puzzled as she was never one with a large vocabulary. There was something at the end of the text suggesting she wasn't returning to the film, saying goodbe. I wasn't particularly bothered by this. I walked towards where she was sat originally, passed it and continued down a corridor to the right, up some stairs. The walls were grey and it was lighter, I think there were some large windows on the left side of the staircase. I think the stairs were leading to the film room, which was strange as I came from the opposite direction originally. About three quarters up the stairs, I saw my friend Steven. W walking down from the room. As he passed, he said to me, "Are you one of those girls where time stands still, once a month?". This is a quote from a tampax advert that my favourite musician Aphex Twin sampled I laughed, and replied affirmatively.

The following dreams I recalled when I woke up at 1pm. I remembered some of it as I layed still, and the rest whilst I was writing out the first on my ipod.

      2) I was at reading festival in a tent that I was sharing with my best friend Tom. R. It was pretty much the same as the tent I actually shared with him at Reading, maybe a bit smaller. I was sat by Tom's compartment, and it was very messy around me. Seems about right I picked up a leaflet which contained the news of our group at Reading Festival. According to one of the headlines, Will. Robinson had brought a 500 ounce steak into our tent!! Considering the massive size, I immediately tried to find it. Although it would usually be very easy to find such a large steak in such a small area, I could not find it. I fumbled around for it and found a large, floppy, flat and moist object that I thought could have been the semi-defrosted steak, but then I reconsidered as it would have been far bigger than this. I told tom about the confusion.

      3) My friend Pasty that I've seen a lot of recently and I were in a large, spacious living room. I got the impression it was his own house, although I know he lives with his parents. He showed me a magazine dedicated to the topic of how to get laid everytime, without fail. He chucked it in a black, metal bin, as if it was a magazine basket, and told me that he'd have to read that this morning before going out. He then proceeded to move behind the sofa I was sat on, opening a door on the left to go for a shower. Again, lights were off but the windows let in afternoon cloud light.

      4) I was having a stoned night out with Tom, smoking a lot of joints. We were by the cinema in town with others. We each had a very large bag of what looked like extremely vibrant green, strong weed. At least 4 ounces each XD The plastic back it was in was crinkly and not very soft like normal weed bags. For some reason, I owed an old lady, about 70 years old an 8 ball of weed. I really didn't have the money to pay for this, which is hilarious as I had soooooooooooo much weed and could have easily sold some to get the money, or simply just given her a hefty handful. We were now in a posh, dark room of which seemed to be on a very high floor of some sort of skyscraper office block. It was evening, probably around 9pm on a summers evening, as there was a dark orangey light from the twilight. We were with the old lady who was to my left, grinding up some weed for her, when the grinder broke. It was Tom. C's neon green grinder, and the spikey bits had all snapped off. She said she needed a grinder too, as well as something else. This was just too expensive for me (£2 extra? ) and I was beginning to worry about my money situation. I realized my responsibility however, and decided I had to get her a grinder and the weed. Me and Alice M. were now walking towards Wetherspoons to meet her, except the wetherspoons had moved in place of Nandos. We were sober now. When we approached the bouncer at the door, I was confident and felt I had nothing to hide, but he was very uncertain of Alice's ID, despite her being two years older than myself. This made me quite smug. She told the bouncer that her name was something very strange and that sounded nothing like a normal name, so I was confused. She then proceeded to ask, "recognize me from the telly?", and it suddenly made sense. We walked in towards the bar, and immediately saw our friend Andreas perched on top of the bar like a frog. It was dark in the room, with golden lights giving it the same light as in the normal Wetherspoons. We were speaking to him, and I think he was with other people we recognized. Suddenly, I was on the dancefloor area to the left of where I was originally standing, now with Ashley. H, in place of where the bar was. I asked her if she fancied a spliff, but she said no. Ryan. C, who was sat opposite me as we were now sat on blue plastic chairs like in primary school, said he fancied one. He then mentioned to two other people that I recognized that they could join in, and I mentioned it to a third guy who was sat to our left. I was happy to smoke them up, but was slightly annoyed as I get frustrated smoking with loads of scroungers. It had to go round five people, so I asked Ryan if he fancied making a massive one. Ryan now had a similar back of weed to me and Tom, and he put into the magically reformed grinder which was now red what at the time seemed like a normally large bud, and I was happy to match it. However, looking back it looked like at least a 3 gram bud! I looked at Ryan's bag of weed and initially thought it was much better than mine, but I decided in the end that they were pretty much the same size.

      5) I was walking down a path at E. Park in my town with Tom. C and one or two other who I don't recall. We were walking towards town. It was very sunny and nice weather. He mentioned someone who I didn't know. When I expressed this to him, everyone was surprised, and Tom whipped out a picture of him. I still didn't recognize him. I kind of get the impression that this dream happened prior to the previous dream, however I definitely recalled it afterwards.

      6) Effy and Tony from Skins were in a damn, dirty and scatty drug den like building. It was very small, and lit with a dark, red light. Effy was trying to express how scared she was and how she was "screwing herself out of every situation" (I'd heard this phrase on Bad Education the night before). She was getting very close to tony in a sexual rage, but Tony wasn't particularly fussed and although he seemed concerned, he told her that she was overreacting and that he had to leave.
    2. First dream night in ages!

      by , 09-25-2012 at 08:34 AM
After a couple of nights after logging back into Dreamviews, I had a couple of dreams last night

      6am

      1) My dad dropped me off at college in his car. It was a cloudy but bright day. The college had the same drop off point, except the part that I walked to from the car was completely different - it was similar to the courtyard area in my secondary school. When I got out to walk to the courtyard bit, Dad drove to the carpark, again similar to the one in secondary school and parked up. I walked towards my secondary school hall, which instead of having the normal roof had a blue tent marquee very similar to the NME and Lock Up tents at Reading Festival. Quite near in the tent, many people were crowding around two guys suspended above us at our head height somehow, writing names on a board of some sort. It first looked like a terribly organized sports team sign up, however it soon seemed to be some sort of request list for a DJ or for acts to play a festival. Everyone was shouting randomly names chaotically and the men, who were probably about 20, were just writing the ones they heard the most or with most clarity. I don't remember the names being shouted. Someone started to shout "LIL B! THE BASED GOD!!!!!", and a few people including myself started joining in. This was followed by people shouting for OFWGKTA or ODD FUTURE, GOLF WANG. My dad appeared behind me to the right around this time, and I thought if I joined in with the Odd Future chants it would impress him, so I did so I started shouting JAMIE XX, but no one joined in and I didn't notice the men taking any notice. So I continued to start shouting it every so often, until a man in front of my turned around to inform me that he put Jamie XX up ages ago. I was a bit embarrassed by this and thought I must have seemed really desperate. Suddenly reality was facebook (this seems to happen quite often ) and a girl wrote a wall post on the event saying that she wanted to buy me a drink! Everyone laughed at her including myself, although I was secretly pretty chuffed. I commented on it in the persona of a mentally disabled guy in my college who always flirts with girls in capital letters on facebook. It got 5 likes, and I was chuffed with this, but also felt like a bit of a dick to the girl who was just trying to be nice. Next thing I knew, everyone had left. I looked around me to see no one, but sort of knew that if I turned around, the girl would be behind me. I tried it, and in fact she was. She had medium length curly blonde-brown hair, was quite short in height and had large boobs She looked like my friend Tamara. I started chatting to her, however she was French and spoke pretty poor English. I thought she was just nervous but she was just quite illiterate. This created a really awkward situation as there was a strong feeling between us that we liked each other, but we obviously couldn't really express it. Suddenly I remember my Dad who was nearby, who speaks very good French, and thought I'd drag him over to make some conversation. I told her that he speaked French and she turned to him, and said something in french quite shyly and quietly. He understood her perfectly and replied perfectly, which was weird as he doesn't speak THAT good french and struggles to understand it. They were talking for a while and I thought I'd show that I wasn't overkeen by leaving briefly to go for a wee. The toilets were where the cafe food normally was in the hall. When I came back, I was very confused to see my Dad and the girl speaking about insurance and mortgages! I assume they were now talking in English because I can remember my Dad saying "You find the richest people you know, and take a £700,000 loan from them to pay for your house!"

      7:15am

      2) There was some sort of police academy crossed with a job seekers club situated in my kitchen. I don't know why I was given the impression that it was my kitchen, as it looked more like a small village hall or a staffroom than a kitchen. Everyone was sat on those awful brown plastic chairs including myself, facing the front. It was bright in their with internal light, and gave the dirty impression of a scout den or youth hostel.

      3) In real life, I really dropped a course at college and in return had to do a journalism club. I turned up to my first lesson of this club at a lunch time. I was sat towards the front of a classroom, once again in my secondary school It felt like it was either night time or just had no windows as the light was very orange and warm. The classroom was similar to one of the maths rooms at my secondary. I knew a couple of people in the class including my Polish friend Claudia, my Nepalese friend Akriti and a couple of people from my ex-Japanese class. I was waiting around whilst the teacher was getting ready, and more friends came along! Aiden and Layla from Japanese, Marko one of my best mates, and various others that I knew. The class seemed like a huge doss. The teacher - who was very, very attractive, young and by the looks of things a shit teacher - was just standing, watching everyone chat. She was quite tanned but definitely English, about 25 years old and quite tall. She looked like someone from my old drama group. Next thing I remember, we were watching some sort of educational video, whilst my teacher decided to get her boobs out from the top of her bra They were very fake and spherical, but were beautiful all the same
    3. Two days of dry spells

      by , 10-02-2011 at 11:03 AM
Had a bit of a dry spell the last couple of days:

1/10/12 I was having a chat with Amy, we'd stopped arguing and we were talking like normal

2/10/12 Me and Will were back at Wireless festival, however The Madness were there, so it was like Reading Festival, but not. We turned up to a tent to see Justin Bieber, because we suddenly admitted that we had a guilty pleasure for him. We walked into the tent, really excited to see him play. The tent was pretty small and dark blue. It was fairly cloudy but warm outside. The tent wasn't very packed at all - there was a fair amount of people, but not many. We got to about the middle, and a man came onstage annoucing something along the lines of "Ladies and Gentlemen, JUSTIN BIEBER!!!!!!!!!". Immediately, 'One Step Beyond" was played by The Madness, with no sight of Justin - just a backing band doing a ska cover. It would have been quite cool, if we hadn't just seen the ACTUAL Madness play the same song 30 minutes ago. The crowd looked kind of amused, but slowly meandered off to see another band. The crowd was mainly middle aged/elder teens, not the typical lot of little girls you'd image to see. Me and will were disappointed at the gig.
