    1. Music Technology

      by , 10-09-2012 at 08:59 AM
I had commented on my Music Technology teacher's band video on youtube. I had some sort of vision, instead of watching the video the dream was the video, and I saw someone drumming nicely. The video was dark red. I commented saying "FUCKING INCREDIBLE", and my Music Technology teacher Rob 'liked' my comment! Then I read it and saw it say Jaspers Revival and realized that was his band! I think he then sent me a message telling me he'd have to block me due to teacher relationships with students, which I expected.

Suddenly, I was actually in Music Tech at college. The classroom was very similar to my actual class, but something wasn't right. It was lighter than usual, and I was sat at a computer where Rob's computer normally is. Rob was showing me sample kit downloads you can get on Newgrounds. The website that Newgrounds linked to was white with blue links. I zoned out a bit, but realized I had already downloaded these sample packs at home and told him this. He realized and stopped talking. In the top right hand corner of the Newgrounds page where it has the username, I think his username was "WorldDestroyer" xD But then I checked back at it, and it was just a string of numbers and letters

Now I needed a cigarette, and it was some sort of strange day like an open day or the air brick days we used to have in secondary school. Rob wasn't in the class currently, so I thought it'd be safe to walk over to the pen and have a fag. I think I saw Ryan, Will, Tom and Charlotte briefly who persuaded me to come for the fag. I don't know why I didn't follow them, as I turned right somewhere and walked down a very dark, spooky corridor. There were 2 steps going slightly downhill, and as I approached them I saw Rob walking up them, which was awkward. I reminded Rob that we had a 10 minute break (don't think we did) and asked if I could go for a cigarette. He said no! Annoyed but thinking of going for one anyway, I continued walking in the same direction, and ended up in a weird little assembly hall. The tables were green in the shape of frogs, and the room was big and dark. I remember thinking that this is the assembly hall that I don't personally use. However in reality I don't use any assembly hall

    2. Another Lucid!! :D

SIDE NOTES| NON LUCID | LUCID

Last night I went to bed at about 10:30 and dozed off pretty fast.
I woke up naturally at 3:15am and remembered the following dreams:

      1) I was looking at what appeared to be a card game. Each card fit into a square shaped grid. The way the cards had been layed out so far was kind of in the shape of a Nazi Swastika. The table that the cards were on was made of green felt. On each card, there was a different picture of a woman in a bikini. On the other side of the cards was the typical red+white weird pattern you see on standard playing cards. It was more of a puzzle than a card game, as you had to put the cards in a certain pattern. However I didn't understand how to work it out, so I more or less put the cards in a random order. When I'd completed it, it turned out that the puzzle turned out to be a really deep, moral lesson, made to teach you about the plastic fakeness of photo-shoots and how natural girls can be so much more beautiful without make up. Overall, I got 95% which I was surprised with considering I randomly guessed. In addition, this result really mate no sense considering there was only about 8 cards.

      2) Someone was teling a story about how they found a monkey. The story was being told on some sort of radio or news magazine show. It was very fat and very lazy, resulting in it never leaving the house and becoming a massive slob in the person's house. I saw the monkey in my mind, and it reminded me of the infamous obese Asian baby, or maybe Buddha. I saw the owners take the monkey shopping, and he had to sit inside the trolled in the little seat like a baby does. I think the shop was Sainsbury's. It was very light in the shop, as it always is.

At 3:35am, I went back to bed, after getting a drink of apple juice, having a pee and writing my dreams down.

When I awoke at 4:27am, I remembered the following:

      3) It was around 12:30am, and me and Leo were in my bedroom having a lads night in with music and chats. The light was off, but we could see somehow. I was lying on my bed on my side, and Leo was sat against the wall under my KoRn poster. He might have been on a chair, but there isn't one there in real life and I didn't see him really. My bed sheet had been pulled off and my bed was generally very messy, as always. I think it was quite an awkward night - Leo and I have always wanted to have a lads night with music, and it is occasionally awkward with just the two of us but we're usually stoned but it doesn't matter, however we were sober. I was showing him my ambient music playlist through my CD player, playing Kid A by Radiohead - one of our favourite songs. However I was showing him some sort of crazy sound effects through the speaker of an electric UFO I have hanging from my ceiling It was like the experimental noise music that I listen to all the time, and it went in time with the music making it sound even stranger than it normally does. Leo said he liked it, however I felt that he was just being nice about it as I was making my own music pretty much, and when the sounds turned into experimental distorted Aphex Twin style breakbeats I could tell he wasn't enjoying it. I figured he'd had enough of this, so I stepped down and turned the light back on to chat or whatever. I could hear that my sister had just come home from work at Sainsbury's and I thought it was far too late for work. I looked at my bedroom clock to check the time. It was my normal clock, except in between the numbers were strange pale colours, as if normal pinks, yellows, blues, greens and reds had been taken and added to a small amount of white paint. I immediately knew that I was dreaming, but plugged my nose and breathed just to make sure - I could breath, and was now lucid

I don't think Leo was here any longer, as he is also interested in lucid dreaming and I would have told him ecstatically. I sat up on my knees from my laying position, rubbing my hands and touching things lots as I did so to ensure that I stayed lucid. I was getting ready to pull my weigh up and chuck my weight off the cabin bed by holding the wooden beam across it. I was worried that this would stop me being lucid, as the post is very wobbly in real life and the fall is quite scary. However, I did it anyway and it felt exactly how it always feels After performing several more RC's, I decided that it was about time for me to use a lucid to have fun, and not just walk around in excitement like I always do Whenever I think of what to do when I'm lucid, I imagine going to a beautiful field with blue skies and huge stretches of grass hills, with one massive oak tree where I would sit in the shade in awe. I figured I should go to this place, as it would be the perfect first proper lucid dream. I stood in the middle of my bedroom with my arms outstretched, fingers pointing out. I began spinning, but my room was very messy, and my movements were pretty slow and not very smooth at all However I imagined the perfect field, shut my eyes, and hoped for the best... but the best was not good enough, and nothing happened I think the reasoning for this was, like my recent lucid where I tried to spawn MDMA, I didn't TRULY believe that the transformation would occur.

Suddenly, I was in the spare-room arguing with my Mum + sister. It was dark in the hallway but light in the spare room. I still haven no idea why everyone was still up at this time, or where Leo went My Mum was sat at the computer and my sister was behind her. I think I was still aware that I was dreaming, but I had no control and didn't really feel very lucid at all. My Mum was telling Nicola about the new "image" of our landline telephone. She either meant the picture that pops up when you are called, or that we got a new headset. Either way, for some reason my sister was really angry about this.

I was now in the living room with my Mum. She was having a go at me about something, but I can't remember what. The lights were on in the kitchen and in the far left of the living room, but not in the section that we were. Strangely, I plugged my nose and breathed to test if I was still dreaming, and I couldn't dream, so I said something like "See what you did Mum!? You stopped my lucidity!!!" She seemed interested for once that I had been having a lucid dream. I find it quite amusing that I was aware that I was dreaming and that I had been lucid and that I could still be lucid, yet I wasn't lucid

    3. Two days of dry spells

      by , 10-02-2011 at 11:03 AM
Had a bit of a dry spell the last couple of days:

1/10/12 I was having a chat with Amy, we'd stopped arguing and we were talking like normal

2/10/12 Me and Will were back at Wireless festival, however The Madness were there, so it was like Reading Festival, but not. We turned up to a tent to see Justin Bieber, because we suddenly admitted that we had a guilty pleasure for him. We walked into the tent, really excited to see him play. The tent was pretty small and dark blue. It was fairly cloudy but warm outside. The tent wasn't very packed at all - there was a fair amount of people, but not many. We got to about the middle, and a man came onstage annoucing something along the lines of "Ladies and Gentlemen, JUSTIN BIEBER!!!!!!!!!". Immediately, 'One Step Beyond" was played by The Madness, with no sight of Justin - just a backing band doing a ska cover. It would have been quite cool, if we hadn't just seen the ACTUAL Madness play the same song 30 minutes ago. The crowd looked kind of amused, but slowly meandered off to see another band. The crowd was mainly middle aged/elder teens, not the typical lot of little girls you'd image to see. Me and will were disappointed at the gig.
