Kim has a laptop, one that I was using for iTunes. An error occurs and a box appears. It's nothing but numbers. There is a space to type. Kim picks up my phone and looks up something. She tries to type it but it doesn't work. I tell her that the program is not meant for that. She gets mad, thinking that I just don't want her using my phone or the laptop.I tell her to think about it like a different language. The program only recognizes numbers. So typing letters won't work. She ignores me and keeps trying to type words. I tell her that she's using the wrong language. I then tell her to imagine a new language, one that we don't understand and it doesn't understand us. She says okay. I ask her what good would it do, talking to someone like that. They can't understand us and we can't understand them. And speaking our language, as if they should understand, does no good. Regardless of the speaking or typing, it simply won't work. She nods her head in understanding.
