Dreams about the future are very cool, I had a similar one where buildings were made out of glass too.

I do try to write my dreams to make reading them worth someone's time. :3 So I'm glad you think that.

I like the way you wrote your dream. Feels like I'm reading a good book in a way. ^w^

Funny in hindsight, I agree. But words cannot how disappointed I was with that smoothie. That angry fat man wasted perfectly good bacon.
      No one should waste bacon.

I realized upon waking up that the "choir" was actually the multi-phonic whistle of the train that goes by right outside my window. The first time I heard the voices was because the train was still far away. The last time, just before I woke up, was the train as it was going by outside my window, super loud. I thought that was funny.

When I woke up I thought it was odd that I started my dream supposedly filming a scary movie and ended up living one instead, with the set crew following us around like they would have anyway. Even more ironically was that just the other day I made a post on here wherein I compared dreaming to movies and said that, where regular dreaming would be like watching a really good movie, LDing is like starring in one. And here I was, starring in my very own movie dream that was distinctly NOT lucid.. hahahaha.

And my dreams tend to be really consistent. They pick a story line, and they stick to it. The only really abstract thing about my dreams is I tend to not use doors. Rather, I just appear in new rooms or locations. You would think I would have caught on to this by now, that it's not "normal," but it's so convenient that as soon as I find myself in a new location, I just continue on with the story line. lol.

Wow, this could be a scene from some movie. Interesting how consistent it was. All I dream of is weird, convoluted bullshit or mundane stuff. lol

Well, the subconscious in a dream in my experience is someone who protects you, walks you through problems in your life, and tries to hang out with you.

My subconscious, is kinda the wild side of me I guess.

Yeah, then I can write my dreams while I stare down the toilet. And yeah, I woke up and was like, "well its good to know that I'm getting frustrated enough to dream about it... now just to realize..."

Haha, maybe you should start keeping your physical dreamjournal behind your toilet.
Isn't it great when you dream about talking about lucid dreams without even doing an RC?

I guess what I mean by "special part of your psyche" is: does your DG/subconscious represent a certain part of you. Like, is she the manifestation of that "little voice" we hear when were trying to decide whether or not to do something? Or is she more like, that wild side of you that you keep contained because of society's disapproval? Or is she perhaps the more depressed part of you? Like, does she represent something specific for you?

I guess what I'm trying to understand is, what is the subconscious' reason for manifesting DGs and why are they different from other DCs? Like, what makes them so special?

      Well, yes to all.

Its common for your subconscious to be opposite gender, and my subconscious is in the same form always. I don't know what you mean by part of my psyche, but I get tingly inside when I think of her because shes so awesome.

Sounds like a great experience. I think we can come to a conclusion that the seemingly coincidental correlation between his speech and your alarm, is holding more factors within it rather than coincidence.

Twitch: Is your dream guide/subconscious always manifest in the same form? If so, do you consider this part of your subconscious some special part of your psyche? If not, do you fine that the other dream guides you encounter are similar in personality, or are they all different? And lastly, do you know if it's common for people to have dream guides of the opposite gender? Or is it totally random (from your experience)?

Lol jade, my subconscious is offended when I call her "Dream Guide" lol

Yeah, it probably is your subconscious. Also, that ending of the dream, I have those all the TIME.

I think that brain slows down its time but unnoticable by you but making it so it lands on that precise moment.
