Recently I've been having more dreams with German in them. This is odd for me because before studying abroad I was never fluent enough to have dreams in German, but lately I've found that once a week or more I have dreams about being back in Germany and speaking German. Its weird.

Have you looked into dream interpretation? I'm really curious to know what you're subconscious is trying to tell you with that whole egg-on-the-hedgehog thing.

I remember watching that show when I was a kid. I haven't seen it in years.

When I was in Germany it was really strange for me to see people dressed up in blue police uniforms during Karneval. It was really weird to see how much of a presence Hollywood has other places in the world.

Haha, maybe both. But if you haven't noticed there are lots of really weird/stupid video games out there. Take NyanCat. I don't play it, but just from what I've seen...

This dream totally got me. I woke up genuinely confused.

Dude-guy's inventory reminded me more of some Minecraft newbie's inventory. Most of the slots were used for a single block of dirt or some other useless thing. He didn't stack anything. It was just a big mess. And I'm not even into Minecraft.

I lack the abilites to create my own videogame but I think using these dreams as inspiration would make for a really weird and/or stupid videogame. lol

I'm really thinking you should keep these in mind for a future game design. Dude-guy's inventory reminds me of the kinds of things you get when you open a chest in a spawn point or an abandoned mine shaft: Iron, some pickaxes, maybe some gold, a few sticks. That's about it. Hopefully his skills proved more useful than his inventory.

Yeah, it actually felt like it was a videogame. At least that's what I wrote as the very first sentence in my notes after I woke up from that dream.

I hate the witches in L4D. I hear them crying and always run the other way. This dream sounds like a really terrible video game boss fight. lol. Maybe one day you can create your own game and use this idea as the final fight in it. Then when people ask you how you came up with the idea, you can tell them you had to do the same thing in a dream you had.

Oh my gosh, I totally feel you about WILDs. I've been trying for the last week and just ended up being a super bitch by Friday because I hadn't been able to sleep after trying to WILD. It was the absolute worst.
