    1. Quick Cavernous Flight

Flying helps me to stabilize lucidity. I don’t think this is the norm, from what I read, but it seems to work for me.

In this dream, I was walking in mine tunnel. There was ash floating in the air. I couldn’t figure out what it was from, so I asked a dream figure if they just blasted, and he looked at me in a confused way and said, “No.” The mine looked like a test or research facility, because there were labs built into the sides of the mine tunnel. The floor was paved. I then came to multi-level garage, built into a large cavern, with mezzanine floors, metal steps, and large cavernous areas. There was machining equipment, tools, and rigging everywhere. For no reason at all I became lucid. I was being followed. The lucid dream view suddenly faded, so I stopped, and focussed on the dream. Then the dream view came back, but it was very blurry. I ran full speed to the edge of the mezzanine rail and then leaped into the air ‘superman style’. The lucidity then came back crystal clear. I flew up slightly upwards into a large open area of the cavern, then circled around back over top of the mezzanine walkway, flying carefully, so as not to hit the riggings and equipment. I flew past two people that were following me. I recognized them, but I can’t remember who they were. They were walking along, talking to each other, and watching me fly. I flew past them and said, “Look, I’m flying!” Don’t ask me why I said that? It seems I return to my childish state every time I fly. I have to admit, I never get bored of doing that! Seconds after I flew past them, I got sucked back down into the mezzanine by some strange force, and then I woke up.

I have two objectives right now; the first is to say, “Happy Birthday!” to my mother inlaw, and the second, is to visit Dawn’s castle. Neither of which crossed my mind. Oh well, I’ll try again tonight, and not fly around saying, “Look at me!”
