    False Awakening

    1. Snuggling in ‘The Void’, and Giving our Daughter a Sandwich Hug - Mar 31, 2015

      by , 04-03-2015 at 01:23 AM
I went to bed around 10:00 Pm and woke at 3:30 for Wake Back to Bed (WBTB). Read some dream journals, and did some written and spoken mantras (to visit with my daughter while lucid), and then I went to bed and meditated to state where I was consciously awake with my body asleep. Unfortunately, I did fall consciously asleep, and I ended up in a dream where I was driving a snowmobile down a mountainous gravel road during the summer. I was pulling a co-worker on a bobsled, and we were travelling dangerously fast, so she said, “Hey, slow it down a bit!” It sounded like a good idea, so I pulled into a parking lot to take a break. The road just seemed to end in the parking lot, and I found that a bit strange, so then I questioned myself if I was dreaming or not. Yup, definitely dreaming, I’m lucid! I then woke from the excitement and I was back in the void.

I was lying in bed with my mind consciously awake and my body asleep for a short period of time. Then I felt somebody crawl into bed behind me (I was laying on my left side), and then they reached around and hugged me with their right arm. I moved my dream arm carefully, so as not to move my physical arm, and I gently held onto the person’s wrist. It was definitely my daughter’s wrist, because she has very small delicate wrists. We laid quietly for about 5 minutes in ‘the void’, and then I decided to try and speak with my dream voice, “I love you!” It worked! I was able to talk without using my physical voice. I then felt ‘the vibrations’ happening, but I didn’t want to OBE exit because I was perfectly happy just lying there with my daughter. Soon afterwards ‘the vibrations’ ended, and then I heard a lamb go, “Baaaaah!” in my right ear! Little did I know I was false awakened.

I sat up in bed unknowingly in a false awakening, and I saw my wife, son, and my son’s friend, all standing in my bedroom. My bedroom actually appeared as my bathroom, with my bed in it. I could hear rocks rolling around somewhere. I told everybody to get the heck out because I was trying to lucid dream, and they all just laughed at me. My wife passed me the I-pad, but it looked totally different, and I couldn’t get the dang thing to work properly, so I passed it back to her and she closed it like a laptop. All these dream signs and I still didn’t realize this was a false awakening. I was getting real angry with everybody being in my room, so I laid down in bed to fall back to sleep. That’s when I woke for real! Darn, that would have been an awesome lucid dream. Clarity was picture perfect!

In this next dream, I was at a shopping mall talking to a pretty quadriplegic, black haired girl (in her 20’s) who was painting with her mouth. I asked her if she always paints with her mouth, and she replied, “Sometimes I paint with my hair”, as she grabs the paint brush and sticks it in her hair. So I smile and say, “Oh, you’re not paralyzed?”, and she nods ‘yes’ at me. So I sat down beside her to watch her paint, then she sat on my lap. I felt a bit uncomfortable with this, but I was willing to go with it. Then my wife walked up and pushes lightly on the girl’s back to get off me! Trying to avoid trouble, I stand up and walk off with my wife. I reflected on what just happened, and I figured out I was definitely dreaming! Lucid again (DILD)! I then put my hands on my wife’s shoulder and said, “We have to call for our daughter to come!” She momentarily looked puzzled, and then she caught on! We both started calling for our daughter to join us in this dream. We walked up a flight of stairs to a landing, and then my wife became distracted with something. Then I put both my hands on her shoulders and looked her right in the eyes and said, “You must stay focused. Keep calling for our daughter until she comes.” My wife had the strangest looking glowing bluish eyes. She agreed and we continued up to the 2nd storey of the shopping mall.

Suddenly I heard my daughter say, “What? What’s going on? Huh? How come mom’s there?” BTW, there were tons of people in the shopping mall. Then I saw a little girl walk by, I thought maybe that was my daughter, but no, she walked right past us. We continued calling for our daughter. Then my daughter came running up the stairs and towards my wife. She was really young, maybe 5 or 6 years old, with curly blonde hair. My wife scooped her up in her arms with excitement and they hugged and kissed! I ran around to the other side, and together we gave our daughter a huge sandwich hug! That’s when I woke from all the excitement. I wish I could have stayed longer to see what happened next.
    2. Big String of Fragmented Lucid Dreams - Mar 28, 2015

      by , 03-30-2015 at 06:19 PM
I went to bed early at 9:00 Pm. I find this is the best time for me to go to sleep if I want a fun filled night of lucid dreaming. I woke at 3:00 Am for WBTB, and took my puppy out for a pee. Read some dream journals at Dreamviews. Did some mantras (written and spoken), and then I went to back to bed at about 3:30 Am. I also used meditation techniques to bring me to the state of being consciously awake with my body asleep.

I was in ‘the void’ for at least an hour (very long time) seeing occasional hypnagogic imagery and voices, which in itself was very interesting and a bit shocking at times. Then I got ‘the vibrations’, so I OBE exited! I quickly moved away from my body and towards the door. I really wasn’t expecting this to happen, and I didn’t have an action plan. I was staying at my father in-law’s house, and once I made it to his hallway, I didn’t know what to do next. This pause and indecisiveness wasn’t good because shortly thereafter I ended up back in ‘the void’. I should have started counting and headed off somewhere. I was a bit disappointed because I think OBE’s are awesome.

I then went on a lucid dream marathon for the next three hours. Usually I wake myself up after each lucid dream and voice record it, but for some reason I decided to keep on truckin’. Unfortunately I lost a lot of the dialogue and details along the way (missing tons of content), and my memory was very fragmented. I don’t usually do this, because I think every lucid dream is special and needs to be remembered and recorded. Here’s what I could recall when I finally woke:

Some of these lucid dreams I entered fully conscious and aware. When transitioning from ‘the void’ to the lucid dream, I would momentarily see a two dimensional image in front of me, and then it would abruptly go to 3 dimensions and envelop me with all my senses. I was trying to pay extra attention to this last night so that I could give a good description of what happens when a dream initiates.

In this first LD I saw my sister’s husband Ken in my bedroom against the wall. He looked young and had black hair instead of blonde. I had entered this dream in a lucid state, but seeing my brother in-law standing in my room with dark hair made it very obvious that I was in fact dreaming. As I mentioned above, this started off as a 2 dimensional image and abruptly went to 3D. I sat up in bed and faced him and said, “Hi ken, thanks for helping me to become lucid!”, and he replied, “I didn’t make you lucid, I was just standing here.” “Well, thanks anyway.” I don’t remember what happened after this.
I entered this dream consciously, and I saw beads on the ground beside my bed, so I leaned over and picked them up. I then jumped out of bed and flew out the window. To my surprise I was flying through an amazing garden with beautiful stone buildings. I forget what happened next.

In this next dream I became lucid (DILD - not sure why), and I jumped over a stone railing into a courtyard using the ‘Superman’ position, but I didn’t fly. Instead I fell about 30 feet and crashed hard into the ground. I don’t remember what happened after this, but I do remember thinking that maybe I wasn’t dreaming.

My neighbour in the waking world is also a lucid dreamer and OBE’r. I was already lucid at this point for some reason. I was walking through these beige stone buildings in what looks like an Asian resort, and I could hear him calling my name from behind, so turned around to face him. This dream was ultra-vivid with perfect clarity. He said, “Hey, wait up!” I was totally shocked when I saw him. He looked and acted exactly the same as in the waking world. “Oh, hi! How are you?”, and replied, “I’m doing good! Let’s go off and explore!” I said, “We’re sharing a lucid dream.”, and he quickly replied, “I know.” I couldn’t help but notice that he was butt naked, so I looked down to see if I had clothes on, and I did (blue jeans and T-shirt), so I said, “Hey, why don’t you have clothes on?” He looked down totally shocked, and said, “I don’t know why?” We then went off exploring, and shortly after he vanished into thin air right in front of me. I continued on, but I can’t remember what happened next.

Two middle aged women walked into my bedroom, so I sat up in bed and started talking to them (entered dream in lucid state). I didn’t recognize them, but they knew who I was. We had some funny conversations. They were both constantly laughing as we were talking about all the funny and crazy things that happen in lucid dreams. My tongue then went numb and I could no longer talk. I was just babbling and my tongue was flapping around uncontrollably. They laughed even harder. I forget what happened next.

I was false awakened by a ringing android phone, so I got out of bed and found it ringing by my daughter’s crib. We no longer have that crib, and I didn’t recognize the phone, so I instantly became lucid (DILD). I could hear my father in-law talking downstairs. I answered the phone and I could hear really deep distorted voices coming from the phone. I then laid back down on the bed and started to play with the phone to see if I could get it to work in a LD. Not much luck of course, but I did manage to get a home screen, and some of the apps would momentarily flash on and off. I forget what happened next.

In this next lucid dream, I don’t remember how I got there, or why I became lucid, but I do remember talking to an elderly lady and we were discussing lucid dreaming. I jokingly mentioned something about lucid sex, but she didn’t find much humor in what I said, and she pretty much ignored my joke. She seemed to know me really well, but I didn’t recognize her. She seemed almost like a mother figure.

In this next dream I became spontaneously lucid while walking outside in a park like setting, so I called for my wife to join me, but she didn’t come. I was a bit disappointed, and I don’t remember what happened next.

In this next dream I met homeless man Paul, from my prior Lucid Dreams about God, and I introduced him to my wife and they hugged. He was wearing the same weathered blue parka. I wasn’t lucid in this dream, but I thought I would mention it, because Paul represented God in my LD’s.

In this dream I was staring at my right hand, point finger. Now this is weird, because it had two extra joints on it, and it was very long and strange looking. I was moving it around and trying to figure what the heck was goin’ on? My wife walked up beside me and I reluctantly showed her my finger. I thought she was going to blame this strange mutation on the fact that I lucid dream all the time (she gives crap often about my LD obsession). The extra finger joints then turned into a little, tiny hand on the end of my point finger and it started to wave at me. Okay, I get it, I’m dreaming! Dream Induced Lucid Dream - DILD! I then remembered my mantra to heal my wife’s sore hip. I asked my wife if we could try healing her sore hip in this lucid dream. She said, “Sure, let’s try.” I kneeled down on the ground and asked for God’s healing light to form in my hands (I read about this LD healing technique in a few books, and I’m determined to make it work too). A whitish ball of light, about the size of a basketball started to form in my hands. When my wife saw the ball of light she started to freak out and jump around while making screeching sounds. I lost all concentration and the ball disappeared, then I started to give her crap, and I woke soon after. Hmmm, this lucid healing thing is certainly proving to be a challenge, but I’m up for it
    3. Flying Piggy Back and Surprise Visit with my Daughter - Mar 27, 2015

      by , 03-28-2015 at 06:39 PM
Method: WBTB after 4 hours of sleep, Dream Journal prior night’s dreams from voice recordings, mantras (written and spoken), then back in bed and meditate with imagery until I’m consciously awake with my body asleep. Once in the void, I started to do internal and external body energy transfer exercises. By this point in time it’s been about 1 ½ hours since I first woke for the WBTB routine. I could feel ‘the vibrations’, so I attempted an OBE exit, which worked, but I paused for too long beside my bed, and I was sucked back into my body. I was a bit disappointed with this, but it was still early in the night, and I knew there were some lucid dreams ahead of me, so I fell asleep. Time for fun!

In this first lucid dream I was holding my wife’s hand as she happily skipped along. We were in a long hallway inside somebody’s house. I couldn’t help but notice she was in her early 20’s looking very young and beautiful (she’s 48 in waking life and beautiful). This made me instantly lucid (DILD - Dream Induced Lucid Dream). I said to my wife, “Hop on my back and let’s go for a piggyback ride!”, and she happily did so. After a couple steps, I leapt into the air and we were now flying piggyback style! We flew through the living room, and then into another room where my wife said, “What’s going on here? We’re flying. How’s this possible?” I said, “We’re dreaming!”, and she replied, “Oh, okay!” I then flew back into the living room, and by this point I was flying horizontal, and she was holding on tight! The entire living room was full of my family members, and my nephew Kent said as he laughed, “That’s awesome!” Then unexpectedly, somebody grabbed my right pant leg, and I came to a complete stop and we stood up.

I spun around to see who stopped me from flying, and an older woman (my age) was standing there looking a bit guilty. I said to her, “Why did you stop us from flying?” She fumbled with words, and then I said, “Was something wrong with what we were doing?” She then said, “You should be keeping a lower profile.”, and I replied, “But we were just having fun. There’s nothing wrong with that!” Her face was turning a bit red with embarrassment and she turned and walked away. I grabbed my wife by the hand and we followed her for a couple of feet to where she had nowhere further to walk in the living room. I then asked her, “Who are you?” She said, “I’m a relative!”, so I asked, “A relative of mine or my wife’s?” She said, “Of your wife’s. I go back a long ways. I’m German, and there were three of us.” I said, “Well then, what’s your name?” She still wouldn’t tell me. I then had a false awakening, and I sat up in bed to voice record this lucid dream, but I saw a very pretty blonde woman standing in the darkness of my room (it wasn’t my bedroom, I was someplace else). She looked like she was glowing with soft white light, and she looked very much like the woman I recently saw in another lucid dream (black eyes, no whites, very slender, with Barbie doll perfect skin, and long blonde hair).

She didn’t seem to see me, so I stood up in the darkness, and said, “Hello?” She looked at me and said, ”Huh, who’s there?” and I said my name, “It’s me!”, and she said, “Oh, it’s you?” She seemed very shocked with this. She then morphed into woman with curly blonde hair with a more roundish face, and she now had glasses on. Her eyes also changed from being completely black to having irises with whites. I thought why did she morph, I liked her look? I realized I had my CPAP mask on, so I tore it off my face and threw it on the ground. I then floated towards her in standing position. She turned around and quickly ran out of the bedroom and down the hallway, and I followed closely behind. I just wanted to talk to her. She ran into a kitchen. All the lights were off in the house, but she was glowing white so there was some light around her. She stopped by the kitchen table and faced me. She distorted her mouth, and her teeth went all crooked and missing. I began to think that maybe she was scared of me. I floated up to her, and she grabbed a knife off the table and stuck it up to the handle into my stomach. I didn’t feel anything, except some slight pressure, but my feelings were hurt.  I guess I shouldn’t go floating behind somebody in a dark house (I must have been real freaky looking/acting). I then went into another false awakening except when I opened my eyes; I was in outer space travelling at high speed. I forced myself awake, and I voice recorded these Lucid dreams.

In this third lucid dream I was standing outside my elementary school. There were a bunch of children and teenagers around me. I decided to head into the school and see what’s going on in the auditorium. As I was walking down the school hallway, a beautiful teenage girl with curly blonde hair, who I didn’t recognize, walked up beside me and put her arm around my waist. Boom, lucid! Another DILD! This kind of stuff just doesn’t happen when you’re old gnarly man like me (unless it’s your daughter). I put my arm around her should and drew her in close as we walked.
      Me: “Who are you?”
      Her: “I don’t know?”
Me: “Well perhaps you are somebody I know?”
      Her: “Yes.”
      Me: “Are you my daughter?”
Her: “Yes, yes I am!” She had a huge smile on her face! I still didn’t recognize her, but she had my daughter’s voice.
Me: “Okay then, you must prove it. What does daddy like to nibble.”
Here: Grinning and quietly she says, “Bellybuttons.”
Laugh, laugh, giggle, giggle! When my daughter was a child I use to say to her, “Where’s the button? I want to nibble on that button!” then I would chase her, as she frantically ran away screaming, until I caught her and kissed her button, then she would always giggle.

My daughter than said to me, “Dad, I want a glass of Coke.”, so we went to the Coke dispensing machine in the corner of the gym and I pushed the Coke button. Coke started pouring out of the nozzle, but there was no glass there, and it ran all over the floor. My daughter laughed, and said, “Dad, you have to put a glass in there first!” I could feel my lucidity failing, so I said, “Let’s walk around for a bit.”, but I then went into a false awakening, and I wanted to voice record my lucid dream with my daughter before I forgot the details, but then I realized I was dreaming because I was outside on the street with my coffee table in front of me. I forced myself awake, but I went into another false awakening, and then another one, and then finally I woke up for real and I voice recorded the lucid dream. I should have engaged the false awakenings and had more lucid fun with my daughter rather than trying to wake, but there’s always that risk of forgetting if you continue on for too long.
    4. Cuban Vacation - Mar 5 to Mar 12, 2015

      by , 03-19-2015 at 03:13 AM
I had several lucid dreams while on vacation in Cuba. Here’s what happened:

Mar 5, In this dream I was at my parent’s house moving some chairs from the dining room to the kitchen in preparation for supper. When I picked up a chair I noticed that the left and right sides of the seat back did not match. The right side was squared off at the top, whereas the left side was rounded. I said to my wife, “Honey, I know that I’m dreaming because the seat backs are not symmetrical!” The dream started to fade, so in an effort to stabilize, I began to swirl, but no luck.

Mar 5, In this dream I was in a dimly lit large machine shop. I became lucid for no reason whatsoever, just as a man ran past me. His skin was glowing white with a slight iridescence. He ran up to a locker and opened it, and a flood of light poured out illuminated him brightly. I ran around the lockers to the other side and I tried to levitate him, but he didn’t budge. Then I walked up to him and pushed on his shoulders with both my hands. I wanted to see how strong he was. He put his hands on my shoulders and pushed back, but I easily slid him across the floor. I said, “I’m stronger than you.”, and he replied, “Don’t push me.” He was less than impressed (I was misbehaving again).

Mar 6, In this dream I was walking down the street in my home town. Suddenly, packages of butt wipes started to appear in people’s hands, and a package also appeared in my hand. I instantly became lucid - Dream Induced Lucid Dream (DILD). All of us walked into a community center with a stage at the back. I decided to have some fun with this lucid dream, so I walked up on stage and raised my package of butt wipes up into the air! Everybody stopped what they were doing and watched. I said, “Butt wipes! These things are amazing! When your butt needs a wipe, what do you reach for? Butt wipes! When you’re out on a date, and things are getting awkward, what do you use? Butt wipes!” People started to laugh, and then I stepped off the stage. My dream guide walked up to me and said, “Ohhh, that was good! Everything turned out okay.” I replied, “Yeah, you have to have fun sometimes when lucid.” We walked out the building together, and then I woke.

Mar 7, In this dream I became lucid because the man beside me had glowing red eyes (DILD). I asked to him to help me find my daughter, and in return I would give him my truck. I reached into my pocket, pulled out the keys and gave them to him, and I said, “The truck’s outside, it’s yours!” He graciously took the keys and left. I then woke into a false awakening (still lucid). I was holding my daughter in my arms, as my wife was talking to her. I told my daughter I loved her, and then I woke.

Mar 8, In this dream I was holding a wood carved jewellery box (Cuban made). We had actually been looking at these the day before in Havana. My dear mother in-law (passed Y2001) came up to me and said, “Ooh, what do you have there?” Boom, lucid again! She was very interested in the jewellery box, and she had a huge grin on her face. My wife was standing beside me, and I asked her, “Can you see your mom standing there?” My mother in-law instantly replied, “Of course she can see me!” I then woke.

Mar 9, In this dream I was coaching soccer. The field was covered in water, so I told the boys to swim to the far end of the field and touch the white line. The assistant coach became upset with my drill because the boys were supposed to be playing soccer, not swimming. I thought about what he said, and then I became lucid (DILD). I remembered my dream intent to meet up with my daughter, so I started to call her name. The water vanished from the field, and then I slipped into another dream where I was driving a Suburban down the main street of my home town. I lost lucidity. I saw my daughter walking down the road towards me holding a fishing rod. There was at least 10 fish dangling from the pickerel rig. I pulled over and asked my daughter where she caught them, and she replied, “Down the street at her friend’s house. We should go there!” I then woke.

Mar 10, Wake Back to Bed (WBTB) lucid dream. I entered this dream in a fully lucid state using tactile visualization during meditation. I was standing in a bungalow, and my son was sitting at the dining room table. He said, “Dad, have you seen the backyard yet?”, and I replied, “Not yet, but I’ll take a look!” I walked out backdoor and onto a concrete deck. The entire backyard was a gigantic fish pound, and it was surrounded by forest! Fish were jumping and sending small ripples across the mirrored, pond surface. I called for my daughter to come, and I instantly heard her giggling and talking to my son inside the bungalow. She then came out the backdoor and faced me with a huge smile and I said, “I’m lucid!”, and she replied, “Great dad, you finally got it!” My son then came outside and joined us. I gave my daughter a huge hug and told her I loved her. I then asked the kids how they were enjoying the Cuban vacation. My son looked totally confused and didn’t know what I was talking about, but my daughter knew. She said, “I’ve enjoyed it, but I’m getting really frustrated because nobody has given me a sip of their drink. I keep tapping people on the shoulder when they’re ordering drinks, but nobody feels it.” The dream quickly faded and I woke. The following day we ordered my daughter a Pina Colada for lunch (her favorite drink)! How could we forget?

    5. Back to Back OBE’s with my Daughter - Mar 2, 2015

      by , 03-18-2015 at 01:05 AM
Went to bed at 8:45 Pm, and woke at 2:30 Am (WBTB). Stayed up for only for 5 minutes, which is not usual for me when doing Wake Back To Bed (WBTB), because I usually stay up for at least 45 minutes, but I was too tired. I decided to meditate while lying in bed on my back. I started to feel uncomfortable after about 15 mins, so I rolled onto my right side for another 15 mins, and then onto to my left side. Soon after I found myself in the altered state where your mind is awake and your body is asleep (even my hearing had stopped). The hypnagogic imagery was crystal clear. I saw a poster with lots of writing on it, but it disappeared before I could read it. People were gathering around me and talking.

The vibrations started, and I could hear electrostatic popping and sizzling. This was my queue to leap to my feet out of bed, leaving my body behind. I was expecting to end up in my bedroom, but instead I was in my childhood bedroom at my parent’s house. I immediately started to count, because this helps to stabilize the experience, and helps to keep my mind focussed. Off I went to try and find my daughter.

I ran down the stairs to the first floor, and into the living room. There was a transparent man standing there, and I ran right through him towards an older woman who was standing at the back door. I didn’t recognize the woman, so I continued past her to the back door. She then spoke in my dad’s voice and said, “No, don’t go out there, stay inside.” I turned around to face the woman, and I replied, “Okay, where’s my daughter?” She pointed towards a soccer ball size object that was morphing about 3 feet off the floor near the basement door, and she said in my dad’s voice, “Right over there!” It was very strange that this woman had my dad’s voice, so I asked her, “Who are you?”, and she replied, “I’m your dad.” I quickly stuttered, “But dad, you look like a woman?”, and dad said, “Yah, I know, but that’s just how it is.” By this point my daughter was almost materialized, and I got too excited, and instantly I was back in bed, consciously awake, with my body asleep.

Once again, the vibrations and the electrostatic popping and sizzling started, so I leapt from my bed to my feet. My bedroom looked so real, and felt so real, that I momentarily thought I had physically jumped out of my bed, but then I could see two transparent people standing in my room (definitely dreamin’), so I walked right through them and out my bedroom door. I then realized I was totally naked! Yikes! This is odd, because usually I have at least my gotchies on. I also still had my CPAP mask on, so I ripped it off my face. Top of my list was to find a blanket to wrap around me, so I went looking for one in my daughter’s room. I flicked the light switch on, but it didn’t work (of course), then I tried her lamp, same thing. The room magically became softly lit, and that’s when I noticed something was different with my daughter’s calendar. I sat on her bed to take a closer look.

At the end of each day my daughter would always draw a line diagonally through each calendar day, to mark its completion. She did this right up until she passed in 2013. In this OBE, the calendar looked different, because it was covered in brilliant green grass and red flowers. The diagonal line through each date was no longer present, but rather there were pictorials and hieroglyphics, right up until her passing date. I was totally enthralled with the amount of effort and detail that went into each day of the calendar. Very unexpectedly, I heard my daughter giggling beside me. She was lying under the covers in her bed. “Dad, every time I see you, you look older! It’s seems so strange.” She sat up in bed, leaned over, and gave me a huge hug. I replied to her, “Yeah, I’m getting older and older. Every day when I wake, I’m one day closer to being with you again.” She laughed and said, “Yeah, I know.” Then I said, “You still look the same, young and beautiful!”

Boom, back in bed again, consciously awake, with my body asleep. The vibrations started once again, and I tried to do a third exit, but no luck. I woke myself up and immediately voice recorded the amazing and memorable experience
    6. Meeting with Loved Ones and Not so Loved Ones - February 11, 2015

      by , 02-15-2015 at 04:49 AM
Wake Induced Lucid Dream (WILD). This was a very vivid string of lucid dreams, more vivid and clear than waking life itself. After a 1 hour Wake Back to Bed (WBTB) routine I closed my eyes and meditated. I focussed on visualize on having a stack of 10 or so coins in my hand, then opening my hand and allowing the coins to fall. It started off as flashes of light and over about 15 or 20 minutes I had reasonably clear imagery of this happening, then my body was asleep, but my mind was conscious, and I simply let all thoughts go, and I let the imagery present itself however it may happen. I simply went with the hypnogogic imagery, and I did not influence it. The imagery transitioned into a lucid dream after about a half hour, and I found myself standing there in my parent’s house. I could hear my poodle barking outside.

She always barks when she’s ready to come in, so I ran for the back door to let her in. It was nighttime, and there was nobody else around. When I opened the backdoor I saw my dog standing at the bottom of the concrete steps, and she illuminated by what looked like a fog light from above. There isn’t a fog light there in the waking world, so I looked up to see where the light was coming from. To my surprise I saw a glowing sphere above the house and it was projecting a beam light down on my dog. It was directly above us, so I floated my feet upwards, and I rotated my body so I was in lying in a horizontal position looking up at the light. The light then began to move upwards and it drew me along. I slowly rose, mesmerized by light, and soon I could see the outline of the clouds against the starlit sky. Seeing the stars and the clouds so vividly made me excited and I returned the void, where I was once again consciously aware with my body was asleep.

I found myself in a false awaking, and I lost lucidity, because I really thought it was real. I could hear my wife in the kitchen talking to a friend. The house was a place where we use live back in the late 80’s. That should have been enough to tip me off that I was dreaming, but it didn’t ‘click in’. My wife came into the room and snuggled in with me for ‘sexy time’, but our bedroom door was open, and my wife’s friend peaked around the corner. At this point I became lucid, but I felt totally uncomfortable with the situation, so I didn’t engage the moment. Actually I haven’t done ‘sexy time’ while lucid since my mid-teens due to a bad lucid experience, but I definitely would like to try this with my wife when I don’t have an audience! Thank you very much! I slipped back into ‘the void’ (Nrem).

I entered another dream lucidly, and I found myself in some sort of empty warehouse. My mother in-law was standing there amongst many other dream figures (My dear mother in-law passed in 2001). Remembering my mantras to connect with my daughter (My daughter passed in 2013), I looked at mom and asked where my daughter was. As soon as I said it, she walked up beside me, to the right, and I said, “Daughter is that you?” because she looked different, and she said in her exact voice, “Yeah, it’s me!”, so I scooped her up into my arms. As I held her close she morphed into her true physical appearance. I told her I loved her, and I started to slowly bounce around the perimeter of the room, facing inward. While lucid, you can jump up and slowly float down, like you’re in low gravity, kind of like bouncing on the moon. Her feet were dangling in the air, and I asked her, “Hey daughter, how’s the food is in Heaven?” She replied, “Huh?”, so I repeated the question, “How’s the food in Heaven?” She happily said, “That’s the first thing people always ask me about heaven! Oh, dad.” We bounced past one of the windows, and I saw people standing on the sidewalk. My vision started to fade, so I focussed on my hand, but unfortunately everything went black. Darn…..

I remained perfectly still and I visualized myself back in the dream, and then I was, except I was now across the street in another warehouse! I lost lucidity again, and I was looking for a place to sleep, so I could get back to be with my daughter. A short and very wide woman walked up beside me wearing a hooded parka, and asked what I was doing, so I replied, “I need to find a place to sleep so I can lucid dream.” She pointed at a carpet on the floor and said, “How about there?”, and then she pointed at an old recliner on a pile of junk and said, “How about there?” Then she pointed at an old wooden chair and said, “How about there?” I became semi-lucid because I realized this is probably a dream, so I didn’t care about sleeping in a filthy place, so I opted to sleeping on the carpet. I laid down on the carpet and looked up at the obese hooded woman and said, “I’ll sleep here.” Just as I said that the woman morphed into my mother in-law. She was in her late 50’s.

I said to my mother in-law, “I love you!”, and she replied, “Oh, so now we know!”, as I watched her grow younger to be in her late 20’s, she was very beautiful! Then I said, “I really miss you.”, and she distractedly replied, “Oh, okay.”, as sunglasses materialized in her right hand and she tried to quickly put them on, but she accidently dropped them. Quickly, another set of sunglasses appeared in her hand and she fumbled to put them on. Two men appeared in the direction she was looking. One fellow was “clean cut’ and casually dressed, and the other fellow had long hair, a leather vest, and was covered in tattoos.

The ‘clean cut’ guy was holding a scalpel in his hands, and the tattooed man was holding a stainless jug containing some sort of chemical. Suddenly the ‘Clean cut’ guy raised the scalpel up and said, “We’re going to cut you eyelid open and pour kerosene in there.” Instantly and firmly I replied, “No, you’re not going to do that!” I quickly took the scalpel from him and I broke the blade off, and rubbed the broken shard against my eyelid and said, “Let’s get this straight, you want to cut my eyelid open, and pour kerosene under my skin. What possible benefit would that have for me? Is there any reason at all? What could that possibly do?” I was firm and direct and right in his face. My mother in-law said, “Yeah, what good could that possibly do?” I then noticed the ‘clean cut’ guy had scars in his eyelids. The tattooed guy then dropped the stainless, kerosene jug on the ground. It appears they both got fed-up with my defiance and walked away, so I quickly picked the jug up and chased after the tattooed guy.

I grabbed the tattooed guy by his shoulder and spun him around, and I said, “You forgot your kerosene. Why don’t you take this somewhere and start a fire!” He then looked very sad and insulted, and then feeling some remorse for what I said, I placed my hand on his shoulder and said, “It’s okay, I’m just joking, I appreciate you stopping by.” He turned and walked away without the kerosene, and then I slipped back into ‘the void’.

I was consciously awake, but with my body asleep, and I was reviewing the LD’s I just had. Should I wake myself up and voice record these lucid dreams, or risk having another lucid dream and forgetting what just happened? I decided to continue on. Then, very unexpectedly, I felt somebody hugging me during Nrem. This dream figure was very big and broad, and worse yet, it was a man! Yuck! So pushed him away and told him to leave. That freaked me out, but I kept my cool, and then I was false awakened by the ‘clean cut’ guy from the warehouse.

I jumped out of bed and stood face to face with the same guy from the warehouse. He was standing in my room and glowing slightly white. He held the scalpel up to my face and asked, “Why won’t you do this? Let me cut your eyelid and pour kerosene in there!” I was angrily replied, “Why would I do this? It makes no sense. Why don’t you come back to me after I’m dead, when I have more time to think about this? I’ll probably be dead in 20 years, and you can ask me then. No wait, I’ll find you, and then we can talk about this. ” He looked totally freaked out by what I said and he slowly backed up wide eyed. He then shot forward at me and made a real distorted face, and this caused me to go back into ‘the void’.

I remained perfectly still and I tried to return to the warehouse to find my daughter. Next thing I knew I was standing between the two warehouses and I was perfectly lucid. Then the ‘clean cut’ guy ran out of the warehouse were my mother in-law and I were chatting earlier, and disappeared around the corner of the other warehouse where I was hugging with my daughter. I floated up in the air vertically a couple of feet of the ground, and I took off after him. I had thoughts of doing a high speed tackle! When I rounded the corner, there were now men five men walking together. One of them was the ‘clean cut’ guy; one was the tattooed man, and the other three I didn’t recognize. I floated up behind them quietly, as they walked; and then one fellow turned around and faced me in total shock. I then went into praying lotus position, floated around them, and then faced them as I was travelling backwards, floating. My movements were surprisingly smooth and precise. One of the men, who I didn’t recognize, started smiling at me. I guess it must have looked pretty funny seeing somebody in praying lotus position hovering in front of them as they walked. Uncontrollably I started to smile back, and I really didn’t feel any anger towards the ‘clean cut’ or the tattooed man. Then my waking world alarm went off, and I woke. Darn, I wonder what would have happened next.
    7. Little Visits with Loved Ones - Feb 6, 2015

      by , 02-08-2015 at 02:07 AM
Wake Back to Bed after about 5 ½ hours’ sleep. Read some Stephen LaBerge for 45 mins. Incubated my dream and said mantras for 15 mins, and then back to sleep at 5:00 Am. Yes, lucid dreaming was embedded deep in my thoughts, and I was heavily focussed on meeting up with my daughter.

In this dream I had a pencil in my hand and I was drawing the horizon line through the sky as I ran towards a building. I went through front door and walked into an elevator, and then the doors closed. When the doors reopened I continued to draw the horizon line out of the elevator, through the air, and then onto a piece of paper. I was in a dimly lit room, but my piece of paper was brightly lit. I drew an arching line across the paper, and I was quite impressed with my horizon line! I flipped the piece of paper over to draw another horizon line, but on the opposite side of the paper was beautiful painting of a rock band performing. The paper was black velvet and the scene was drawn in florescent colors. In the corner of the painting was a small piece of loose leaf with blue printing (I should have read the note). I excitedly said, “Who painted this!” My daughter then answered from behind me, “I did!” I instantly replied, “It’s soooo good!” I then got excited and the dream ended before I became lucid.

This was followed by a false awakening. It was dark in my bedroom, and I was lying on my right side staring at the open bedroom door. I started to think about the dream I just had, and I wished I could have stayed there longer, became lucid, and hugged my daughter. Suddenly my daughter poked her face around the corner, and she was brightly lit, like somebody was shining a flashlight in her face. I jumped out of bed realizing this must be a false awakening! I took my right point finger and pushed it through my left hand (as a reality check). I’m Lucid. I ran towards the door to hug my daughter, but unfortunately I woke from the excitement.

As I’ve mentioned in my other dream journals I recently bought a mini voice recorder where I simply push a button and voice record my dreams so I can journal in the morning. After voice recording this dream, I fell asleep physically, but my mind was conscious, and I entered a dream in the lucid state. Unfortunately, I forgot to voice record it during the night, and I forgot what happened by morning (it was a great LD). But, I do remember swirling at the end when I started to lose lucidity, and then I entered into another LD, which I remember very well. Here’s what happened:

I was walking through some cattails towards a sandy beach, and I was calling, “Daughter, Daughter, please come, I’m lucid.” I stepped onto the soft sand beach, and my daughter walked up beside me on my right and said, “Hi dad!” I put my arm over her shoulder, and I said, “Let’s go for a walk.” And my daughter replied, “Sure!” It was an amazing beach boarding a freshwater lake. There were small waves rolling in, and my daughter was walking bare feet with the waves gently washing past. She then said, “Dad, I have to tell you something”, and I replied, “Yeah sure.” She then started to tell my something really interesting, but the lucid dream ended, before I could understand what she was telling me. Darn! I woke and voice recorded the dream. I then fell back to sleep and had several more interesting and fun dreams. Then I woke and voice recorded them again. It was now 8:30 Am, and I thought I would try and have one more LD (After all its Saturday!). So I fell asleep, but my mind was still conscious, and I enjoyed much hypnagogic imagery, sounds, and voices, and then I got ‘the vibrations’ at about 9:30 Am. OBE time!

I felt 3 sets of minor vibrations lasting about 1 second each, spaced apart by about 10 seconds, and then there was a continuous vibration, where I felt like a shaken can of soda exploding, so then I leaped from my body, but I only made it half way out. I used all my strength to slowly rise out of bed and I was left standing in complete darkness. At this point I was questioning if I was actually standing, or if I was back in bed. I gradually opened my eyes and realized I was standing. Great! I headed for the bedroom door to get away from my body before I got sucked back in. Wait, what’s that? There’s a dark shadow standing between me and the door. I went to hug it, but my arms went right through it, like it wasn’t there. I thought maybe I was seeing things, so I turned and went to open the door, but I wouldn’t open. Then I realized why, there was a hand to the right of me holding it closed. The hand was lightly glowing, and I turned around to see who it was. Holy smokes, it was my dear mother in-law, who passed in 2001! She was standing there in a beautiful white robe.

She said, “Hi, please turn on the lights.”, as she pointed up at the light fixture. So, I went and flicked the bedroom light switch on, but not surprisingly, they didn’t work. Light switches often don’t work for me in lucid dreams so why would they work now? I then decided to say, “Lights on! Lights on!”, but they still didn’t turn on. My dear mother in-law then took a small transparent patch of material and waved it back and forth across the light switch, and then a mysterious light, under my bed, turned on. This light was orange, yellow, and white, and seemed to be slowly churning and mixing, not like anything I’ve seen. I then went and sat on my butt beside the bed to be in the light, and my mother in-law kneeled down beside me. She started to cry, and I could see the tears coming down her cheeks. I could feel her sadness and it was because of our family being separated in the afterlife, and also because of our great effort to stay connected. She looked right into my eyes, and she said my daughter has a message for me, “She said…..” Then I got sucked right back up into bed again, and I was awake. I got too emotional and woke up. This entire string of dreams was absolutely amazing, and I’m very fortunate to be able to experience this.
    8. Feeling a Little on Edge - Jan 24, 2015

      by , 02-07-2015 at 02:35 AM
This particular night was my most active lucid dreaming and OBE night ever! I’ve already journaled all the other experiences from that night and here’s the last one.

Prior to this particular experience, I had a hilarious OBE where my CPAP mask was covering my right eye, and I couldn’t figure out why I couldn’t see out of that one eye. Anyway, I woke up after that, and then I went back to sleep physically, but my mind was conscious (This happened at my parent’s house). About a half hour later the vibrations started. They come in waves about every 10 seconds and last about 1 second and gradually increase in amplitude. When I felt the vibrations peaking in strength, then I leaped out of bed, OBE. I landed beside my bed and tore off my CPAP mask and blanket, piece by piece. And then I ran out the bedroom and went downstairs into the living room. Clarity was perfect.

My niece and nephew were sitting on a bench alongside the West window. They were looking at me with a shocked expression on their faces, and oddly, they were both very young. It seemed like I was back in time by at least 8 or 9 years. I’ve already had several a few LD’s and OBE’s that night and I guess I wasn’t very patient, because I went straight to my quest and sternly said, “Where’s Daughter?” (I should have greeted them nicely). My niece looked at me and said, “What? What do you mean?” Then I angrily said, “What, You don’t know who Daughter is? Have you forgotten about her?” My behavior had gotten way out of control! My nephew looked really startled by what I said, and he quickly jumped to his feet and waved at me to follow him, so I did.

He headed straight for the backdoor and pointed with his finger for me to go outside. It was nighttime, and it was raining. When I opened the backdoor I could see 2 youths and 2 adults walking across the backyard towards me. I couldn’t make out who they were, but when they got close I recognized my daughter! She was crying. The three others stopped walking, and one of the adults pushed my daughter towards me. She looked confused and upset. She was really young, maybe 7 or 8. I kneeled down and held out my arms and she cautiously walked up to me, then I said, “Daughter, it’s daddy!” She then recognized me and ran into my arms and started to smile and laugh, but she seemed giddy, and more in a state of shock, than happy. My wife then walked out the back door, gave me a look of displease, and then quickly turned her expression to happiness in an effort to comfort my daughter. I felt a little upset to how this OBE was playing out, and unfortunately I went back into ‘the void’, and then immediately had a false awakening with my wife. I actually thought I had awakened! My wife had a big piece of wood and she was dropping it on my bedroom floor. It was so loud and annoying, so I started to give her crap because she woke me up while I was trying to dream. Then I went back to sleep, not knowing I was already asleep.
    9. 4:00 Am Much Needed Hug – and my Dream Method - Jan 24, 2015

      by , 01-26-2015 at 04:37 AM
I repeated this mantra continuously last night as I drove out to visit ‘the folks’. No worries, I was alone. Btw, my wife and son would kill me if they had to listen to this:

“I WILL realize when I’m dreaming, and I WILL BE lucid. I WILL realize when I’m dreaming, and I WILL BE with my daughter.”

I verbally repeated it for 40 minutes as I was driving, just before bedtime. I fasted from lunch until bedtime, and then I ate one can of tuna, 100 mg B6, and a B multivitamin (washed down with a beer). I wrote out the mantra 4 times in my Dream Journal, and I also wrote out in big bold letters, HUG TIME DAUGHTER! WBTB after 4 hours and then I took 4 mg red spider lily extract and 200 mg choline. I had the best dream experiences ever: 2 lucids, 4 successful OBE’s, 3 failed OBE attempts, and 3 pleasant fun dreams, plus one hour in Nrem (the void). I also voice recorded each dream occurrence, immediately after each dream, and repeated the mantra a couple of times. Yes, I briefly woke up about a dozen times last night, but it was well worth it. The voice recordings allowed me to record what’s happened, without completely waking me up, and then I did the written journaling in the morning using the recordings as ‘recall’. Here’s the best lucid dream (I’ll add the other ones later):

I was false awakened because somebody was touching my back. I opened my eyes and I was lying on my left side in a huge bed which I didn’t recognize. About 5 feet away, in this huge bed, was a dark haired teenaged boy, who was quietly sleeping on his back. I stared at him, and thought now this is odd, there’s a teenage boy in my bed, and this isn’t my bed! I quickly closed my eyes, and I figured this must be some sort weird nightmare!

I opened my eyes again, and now the boy was lying on his right side facing me with his hazel nut brown eyes, staring right into my eyes. He had a very slight grin. I instantly became lucid!!! So I said, “Hi!” He casually replied, “Hi.” I quickly asked, “Who are you?” He then said something, and I could hardly hear him because I had my earplugs in, so I sat up in bed and leaned towards him, and I said, “What did you say?” He sat up in bed too, and moved towards me, and repeated his mumbling. I said, “I still can’t hear you?” Then I felt somebody touching my back again! What’s going here?

I said, “Who’s that (behind me)?” Then I felt somebody push against my back, and I could see blonde, curly hair drooping over my left shoulder. Then I heard my daughter say, “It’s me!” I quickly turned towards her and said, “Daughter!” She smiled ear to ear, and then I said, “Give me a hug!” She gave me the biggest hug ever! Then I asked her, “Who’s your friend?”, and she replied, “Huh, Oh, that’s Kenny!” Unfortunately I woke, because it was very emotional, but I stayed perfectly still in bed to try and get back into the LD. No luck, but suddenly ‘the vibrations’ started, and tried to OBE exit, but no luck again. This was a short, but a fantastic LD.
    10. False Awakened for a Hug – Jan 14, 2015

      by , 01-15-2015 at 03:38 AM
I heard my radio alarm go off, and music was playing loudly, so rolled over and hit the ‘off’ button, then gazed up at my ceiling feeling some disappointment that I didn’t get to connect with my daughter in an LD or OBE. Hold on, something is in my mouth, what is it? I reach in my mouth and pulled out what felt like leafs. Okay, I get it; I’m having a false awakening!

I dragged myself out of bed, and it felt like I weighed 500 lbs. My CPAP mask was stuck to my face, and my blanket was over my head, so I clawed away to remove them piece by piece. I then called out, “Daughter, where are you?” I looked in my closet, nope, she’s not there. I could see my bed glowing with white light and wind was blowing my sheets around. The blanket was humped up on the edge of my bed and wavering in the wind, so I figured she must be under my blanket. Nope, she wasn’t there. I then checked under my bed, and again, nope she wasn’t there either. I could hear some familiar female voices in the hallway, so I went and opened my bedroom door, and I was surprised to see my two sisters standing there.

My oldest sister took one look at me, laughed, and said, “Looks like you had a rough night!” You know, that’s exactly how I felt, totally dishevelled. If I looked in a lucid dream mirror, I probably would have been a monster or something. My other sister was missing most of the features on her face (a skin face). I staggered past them and came upon my mom who was blocking the way into my daughter’s room. I asked mom, “Where’s daughter?” She looked over her shoulder into my daughter’s room and replied, “You can’t go in yet.” I was feeling barely able to hold on to my lucidity, so I blurted, “I need to see her now!” My lovely mom replied, “Go ahead then.” I squeezed by mom, and came upon my daughter who was ‘forming a body’ on her bed. Okay, this I’ve never seen before while lucid!

First her torso and head formed with short arms and legs, and she looked like skin and bones. Then her legs and arms slowly grew out as clothes and hair appeared. I was starting to freak out! I grabbed onto her skinny body and shouted, “Daughter, are you okay?” She just laid there face down and unresponsive. Suddenly she became conscious and flew up into my arms and hugged me, and said, “Dad!” Her body filled out to her normal size as I held her close. I told her, “I love you!” I instantly forgot about what I’d just seen (first time is always a shocker!). We hugged for at least a minute, and then my lucidity started to fail. I said, “Let’s go for a walk!” My dear daughter said, “How about a run?” I said, “Yes, let’s do that, running is fun while lucid because I can run real fast and never get tired.” We ran down the stairs, out the front door, and then my vision went completely black. I laid perfectly still in bed so as not to wake. Then boom, I was back in the dream at the exact same spot! I ran out the front door looking for my daughter, but she was gone? I went back in the house and asked my mom if she knew where my dear daughter went, but she didn’t know. I then woke up feeling great! Thanks daughter! My real alarm went off minutes later.
    11. Showing an Energy Ball to a Friend in a LD, and an OBE gone Wrong (Dec 30, 2014)

      by , 01-03-2015 at 03:46 AM
I don’t know how or why I became lucid in this dream, but I was visiting with my close childhood friend Glen, in what looked like a public lounge area. There were several tables and couches, each tucked away in private sitting areas. People were everywhere, sitting around and chatting with each other. Glen and I were standing near a partition wall, separating us from a group of people who were sitting around a table.

I started thinking about an energy ball I created in a LD (dream journal entry: Kamehameha - My first Energy Ball) some time ago, and I wanted to show my friend Glen, mostly to show off, but also to see if there’s something that can be done with this little ball of energy. Does it have a purpose? I cupped my hands together and focussed, and then a ball of soft white light, about the size of a grapefruit, appeared. I focussed harder (I think I even growled), and then the light turned to a transparent blue, full of hundreds of bolts of electricity, and about the size of a volleyball. It kind of looked like a plasma lamp, less the glass sphere. One of people on the other side of the partition wall stood up and peered over the wall to take a look at what was going on, and then quickly sat back down when I looked to see who it was. My friend Glen just stared at it with astonishment, and he was reaching for it (I was also taken back by what was going on). Bolts of blueish white electricity were now licking around my fingers and up my wrists. I looked at Glen, and asked him if he wanted it, and he said, “Yes!” I was lucid, but I didn’t want to experiment with him by handing him this ball of energy. So I said, “Sorry, I’m going to keep this.” Then the ball collapsed and absorbed back into my hands. There were little flashes of dim, reddish light, which resembled embers in a fire, as the energy went back into my hands.

Glen then stood up and walked away from me. I stood up and followed him, and I was asking him to stay. He seemed like he was sleep walking or something, and was no longer coherent. I put my hand on his shoulder to stop him, and then he became alert again. We casually chatted as we walked around the room. Then we came across another childhood friend, Donny, who was sitting at a table with several people. He was young again, and had long blonde curly hair, just like when we were kids. I couldn’t believe it. I turned back to tell Glen that Donny was here, but Glen was gone, so I turned back to Donny and said, “Donny, do you ever look good! You’re young again!” Donny shook his head up and down, smiled and said, “Yeah.” It was so cool to see him in his youth again. Anyway, I then remembered my mission to heal my son’s plantar wart while lucid, so I was going to ask for my daughter and son to join me, but then everything went dark. Darn! I started to swirl to regain lucidity, but I went right into an OBE instead of an LD. Holy crap, I was somebody else’s bed! I always appear in my bed during an OBE, not somebody else’s!

I was lying on my back, in this strange room, and there was a metal trash can between my legs, which was cold and uncomfortable. I sat up in bed and reached into the trash can, and it was full of wet Kleenex. Yuck! I jumped out of bed and looked around, and realized the bed was in some sort of suite or recreation room area. Little balls of Kleenex were scattered throughout the ‘L’ shaped room. Somebody has obviously been doing a lot of crying. At the far end of the room was a pool table, and I could see the outline of a woman who was almost invisible, but I could make out her silhouette against the glass patio doors. She was wearing high heel boots. I thought maybe she was my daughter, so I walked up to her. Not! She started to totally freak out and scream at me, like I was some sort of boogieman. I immediately kneeled down and bowed to her, to show I was safe, but she grabbed a handful of pool balls and threw them at me. I felt the balls hit me, but it didn’t hurt, and they passed right through me. The woman then turned and ran out the patio doors onto a large concrete patio area with lots of plants. The deck was about 50 feet by 50 feet, and was high end, extremely fancy and modern. Huge downtown buildings, with reflective glass siding, towered everywhere. The woman was now visible, and she was a beautiful young Asian. I then decided to follow her out onto the patio, but I stopped at the doors, because she was pointing at me and screaming. She was yelling at me to leave, and that her dad was coming. I said, “It’s okay.” I felt really bad at this point, my vision faded and went dark, and then I woke.

    12. Part 2: Lucid Dream Healing of my Son’s Plantar Wart – Dec 20, 2014

      by , 12-22-2014 at 02:53 AM
This is my 2nd attempt to heal my son’s plantar wart using lucid dreaming. The 1st attempt is recorded in my dream journals under ‘Part 1’ (Dec 13, 2014). Apparently it’s possible to heal using lucid dreaming, so I’m giving it a try. I feel this attempt worked out much better than my first, but still needs some work, no doubt, so I’ll try again soon.

After my 1st attempt I realized I needed to rehearse this with my son prior to attempting this again, because it was a little more involved than what I thought it would be. My son willingly went through a couple of rehearsals, so that my mind would be ready for the 2nd attempt. I have to admit, it came across as being a bit odd when we were doing these rehearsals, especially since my son is not a lucid dreamer. However, he happily accepted, because he’s been dealing with this large wart on his left heel for three years now, and no medical remedy has worked. Next step is a minor operation, which we’re trying to avoid. Here’s what happened in the lucid dream:

I woke up around 7:30 Am for a second WBTB. At 8:00 Am I quickly fell back to sleep, ready to do some more lucid dreaming. Little did I know I was about to be involved in an exciting false awakening! Next thing I knew I was being awakened by some good old rock music. I sat up in bed and realized I was wearing my Sony Walkman Headphones and listening to an old cassette tape. I couldn’t figure out how that happened, because I haven’t used my Walkman in 10 years or so, and I certainly didn’t go to sleep with it on. I looked over and saw my son standing at my bedroom door. I got up and walked over to him, and asked what time it was? He said he didn’t know, so I reached into my pocket and pulled out my iPhone, and it strangely said 1:00 Pm. How could I sleep for 5 hours and not remember a single dream. I was also a bit disappointed that I didn’t have an LD.

I went to ‘crash out’ in my bed, and sleep some more, because I was still really tired. Strangely my bed was covered in my daughter’s possessions. I carefully lifted them off my bed and placed them down, but more of her stuff kept appearing on my bed. I repeated and repeated, but more her belongings kept on appearing on my bed. Finally I got frustrated and started to sweep them off my bed using my forearm, but they still kept appearing! Finally, I figured it out! I’m having a false awakening! I'm lucid! How could my daughter’s possessions keep appearing on my bed, after all, she’s in Heaven. I then remembered my plan to heal my son’s plantar wart.

By this point my son had left the room, so I quickly called him back. He instantly returned, and then he laid down on the floor with his left foot raised. I then called my daughter to come and hold his leg up, so as to free both my hands. My daughter walked into the bedroom and held his foot slightly off the floor. This was all going as rehearsed and planned. I kneeled down and removed his left sock, and I could see the plantar wart right there on his heel. Next, I sat down on the floor in front of his foot, and said, “Through love and consciousness we heal the wart on your foot!” I had both of my palms pointing at the wart. Nothing happened, no light, no nothing. I then remembered the Kami Hami Ha I did in one lucid dream, so I took this approach, and cupped my hands together as if I was holding an imaginary volleyball. I focussed and concentrated on creating a healing light. A warm, white, fuzzy, light ball, with hues of yellow, appeared in my cupped hands. I then focused this light ball into two beams of light projecting from the palms of my hands, at my son’s plantar wart. This was working! I was really excited! Then my vision went dark, I couldn’t see anything! Darn, I’m losing lucidity!

I stayed perfectly still and asked my daughter if she was still there. She replied, “Yes dad, I’m still here.” I replied, “I love you! Please help me out, I can’t see anything.” I could feel my legs, arms, and shoulders being pulled all at the same time. At this point I had no idea what was going on. My vision slowly came back, and I was surprised to see that several kids, including my son and daughter, were spinning me in a circle, as I sat on the floor. I couldn’t believe it. They were spinning me, like lucid dreamers do, when trying to improve clarity. This was very cool.

We reassumed positions, and I recreated the light ball in my cupped hands, and again focussed the beams of light back on the plantar wart. At this point there were several dream figures standing around watching. One of the younger kids then jumped over my right arm and sat down on my left thigh, with both my arms reaching around him, as I was projecting the light. I guess he wanted a front row seat? I was waiting for my son’s heel to start glowing before I stopped, but then I unexpectedly woke up. It was 9:00 Am (WBTB was at 8 Am). This was one cool lucid dream! I went and got my son a Timmy’s hot chocolate, woke him up, and told him about the LD I just had. I said next time, we’ll have your heel glowing and that should do it! He enjoyed his Timmy’s hot chocolate and my enthusiasm to help out with his plantar wart in this unconventional way. Strangely enough, his wart did look a little bit better today!

    13. Mega False Awakenings Followed by an OBE with my Daughter

      by , 12-20-2014 at 08:40 PM
I was false awakened because my stereo was blaring. I crawled out of bed, and almost tripped on my son who was lying on the floor, and then I proceeded to turn the stereo volume down. I couldn’t believe my son would come and crank the stereo up in my room on a Saturday morning, but I was too tired to complain. I went back to bed.

I was false awakened again because the music was blaring. Without getting out of bed, I first yelled at my son to turn the music down, with no avail; followed by yelling at my wife to turn the music down. They both didn’t answer. I crawled out of bed and went to the stereo, my son was no longer in my room, the volume was turned down, but the music was still blaring! I went behind the stereo cabinet, and yanked the power bar out, and unplugged everything. The music stopped, ah peace and quiet, I can get back to lucid dreaming. I crawled back into bed and went to sleep.

I was false awakened again because the music was blaring! What the heck is going on? I crawled out of bed for the 3rd time, and the volume knob was turned up on the stereo (again). I decided to turn the volume down again, but still leave it playing, so then maybe somebody wouldn’t crank it back up. I crawled back into bed and went to sleep.

This time something different happened. My body was asleep, but my mind was still awake because of all the false awakenings. I was lying in bed with my eyes closed in total darkness, but I could hear the music blaring for the fourth time. I slowly realized these must have been false awakenings. I decide to get up and go have some lucid dream fun, but I couldn’t move, and my eyes wouldn’t open. I then decided to do my OBE exit technique where I jump out of my body and land beside my bed. This worked! My vision was very blurry, and it wasn’t very bright in my bedroom, but I could see a woman standing right beside me, with long, dirty blonde hair, wearing a long, blue gown or nighty. I immediately hugged her, naturally, and realized it was my daughter! I said her name in surprise, and then I woke from the excitement.
    14. Dancing With Myself

This was a very fun false awakening I had on Saturday morning, Dec 6 (2014). I woke in bed, beside my wife, to see our daughter standing between us, on the bed with her back to the headboard. She looked about 3 years old. I should of realized I was dreaming, because my daughter is now 15 (and in Heaven), but I didn’t figure it out. I really didn’t care, because what happened next was so much fun!

I stood up in bed to face her. My legs somehow went right through the bed and I was standing on the floor facing her. I reached my hands forward and we held hands. I carefully drew her closer to me. Her face lit up with happiness. When she smiled I noticed she had adult teeth, and that her eyes were full of life. Then, out of nowhere, a Billy Idol song started to play, ‘Dancing with Myself’! We started to dance while holding hands. The music was so loud! She was giggling and laughing. I tickled her belly button. This went on for about 1 minute, and it seemed soooo real, and was so much fun! I then woke up and quickly marked the awesome dream experience in my journal.
    15. The Golden Fishing Hook

Here’s another lucid dream (or OBE) from Aug 12, 2014. No LD last night, so I’ll add a memorable one from my dream journal.

I was lying in bed patiently waiting for the next dream to start. My mind was conscious, yet my body was asleep. I could feel violent vibrations originating in my torso and extending out to my limbs. These were coming in waves. I knew something was about to happen! Suddenly, somebody crawled into bed with me. It was my wife! I was a bit disappointed that she woke me up because I was just having ‘the vibrations’. I was sleeping in the guest room that night, because my CPAP machine was driving my wife nuts. CPAP, great for sleep, hard on romance. She didn’t say anything to me, we just snuggled for a bit, and then she moved over to the other bed. Little did I know this was a false awakening? To my surprise, my dear daughter then crawled into bed beside me! Seeing my daughter made me instantly lucid. We snuggled for a bit, and then I told her that mom’s in the other bed, can you see her? She looked at the other bed, and said, “No.” I then looked, and sure enough, my wife wasn’t there. I then tickled my daughter’s stomach, and said nonsense words, like I use to say when she was a baby. My daughter laughed and giggled.

She then jumped out of bed, and asked that I follow her. Standing at the end of my bed, she reached up to grab something, and then passed me a gold fishing hook, with a golden spring around shank. This is a very unique hook. I looked at it, and it was the exact same as a hook I found a week earlier, stuck in my cabin’s front door! I was shocked by this! My daughter then asked me to come explore with her, and she opened my bedroom door and ran out. I was about to leave, and follow, but I could hear my CPAP mask leaking air on my face. I turned around and saw my body lying on the bed, asleep. I walked up to my body and adjusted the mask, so the leak would stop hissing. This worked! I turned around and ran for the door to follow my daughter. I got too excited, and then I woke up consciously from the LD, but my body was still asleep.

I stayed perfectly still and focussed on returning to my room, so I could go and explore with my daughter. This worked, but I was no longer lucid! I was lying in bed again, and then a black cat jumped up on my bed beside me. I petted the cat’s back and then its stomach. Btw, black cats are my dream sign, but I didn’t clue into the fact that I was dreaming. Darn, I should have done a reality check.

I went to my cabin, the weekend following this dream, and found that hook, and it now hangs in my bedroom shelf. Also, as an additional synchronicity, I was visiting a physic medium a week or two later, in an effort to connect with my daughter. The medium described this dream to me with some detail; without any input from me whatsoever, and she said my daughter wants me know this was an OBE, not a lucid dream, and she wanted me to follow her out of the bedroom. Well, who am I to argue with that, and why would I? I did manage to follow her, a few months later, in lucid dream titled, ‘A Little Noodles Please’.
