    1. Crystal Dragon

      by , 08-24-2010 at 07:22 PM
I remember vaguely that I was holding a crystal in my hand, and for some reason I knew that it held power inside of it. I wasn't quite sure how, but it did. I was with my younger brother, and we were exploring a very interesting place, filled to the brims with crystals that were easily over ten feet tall. There were many of them, dotted around the trail we walked upon.

He ran ahead of me, I don't know why, but then I heard water splash. Something flashed across my vision, and suddenly he was thrashing in the water and screaming for help as one of the crystals turned into a dragon and began to try and drown him. I ran to the edge of the water, but I couldn't go in - the dragon was whipping its tail at me and preventing me from going into the water.

The crystal I was holding jumped out of my hand and hit the edge of the water, and turned into a beautiful blue and silver dragon. It attacked the dragon trying to kill my brother, and defeated it. As it pulled my brother to shore, I remember staring at it, with tears in my eyes. It had gotten hurt, and it was tired. I was about to try and hug it or touch it in some way when I woke up.

    2. Winx Club.

      by , 08-16-2010 at 06:34 AM
((Well, it's official. I've finally had a Winx Club dream, though for some reason, I've found I can never fly correctly unless I'm lucid. Sometimes in dreams when I'm "running" away from something or the like, I manage to nudge myself a little higher, but eh. Maybe I can work on becoming more and more lucid. ))

This was more of a dream fragment than anything, but I remember one of the fairies was zipping about, looking pleased and happy with herself because she was just all that and a bag of chips. I asked her if she'd show me how to transform and use my magic, but she stuck her nose up at me and just basically said, "I don't have the time to waste on you."

I got angry, and stormed off, determined to show her I could do it all on my own - and be even better than she was. So I closed my eyes and I concentrated really, really hard, and this power came exploding up out of nowhere, encompassing me and indeed triggering a transformation. My hair was waist-length and pinned back, my body covered by a deep amethyst-colored dress of sorts. Except I didn't have the wings. The girl laughed at me, telling me I looked ridiculous without wings.

So I proved to her I could have them.

I did this by jumping off a cliff, telling myself I could fly.

The wings sprouted from my backside, an even darker color than my dress and looking just like spun sugar. I did try to fly - and I succeeded after a try or two, but I was fluttering back to the ground before I knew it, having exhausted my new wings and I was immensely tired. I woke up.

    3. Maximum Ride

      by , 08-10-2010 at 04:42 PM
(( for part of this dream, I was lucid, but several other times I was about to wake up but somehow remained in the dream. So some parts I wasn't. ))

I remembered there was this hospice that I was travelling to, with the youngest of our group, a 10-year-old-girl. The rest of my group was holding up in an abandoned masnion, which served as our home for the time being. I drove a very old teal car there, in order to better disguise ourselves. Upon reaching this hospice, I got us both out of the car and did a quick once-over of the building. I was going there to see an old lady who had been in charge of the project to turn us all into what we were today. I was about to go in when the girl I was with started to make a fuss.

I told her it wasn't safe and she needed to stay out here - in case I had to make a quick getaway. Not to mention it'd be safer for her, if Erasers were present and planned to sneak up on her. The girl was throwing a fit, but after a stern comment, she soon quieted and agreed to my plan. That being taken care of, I turned around and entered the building.

It was nice and furnished pleasantly, and didn't reek of heavy cleaning. I walked up to the receptionist and asked her where the lady was, and she smiled at me and directed me to her. She was currently eating lunch, but upon seeing me, she froze and a very cold glint entered her eye. Having lied to the receptionist about wanting to go see my "aunt", I looked at her, grinned cheekily, and said, "Why, hello, Auntie!"

I despised this woman. I hated her with almost everything I had. She had not been kind in the least during my period of captivity. The receptionist left, and I began to demand answers about a black folder that contained sensitive information about us. She denied having it, and began to ask me questions about silly things that honestly made no sense. I realized she was trying to stall me after a few seconds, so I growled at her, whirled around, and quickly made my escape. There was a man who was trying to catch me, but I was too fast for him.

Exiting on the side of the building, the girl was the first one to greet me. She was holding a huge black packet, and as I looked, I found she was grinning.

"I found it! I found what we were looking for!"

"Celebrate later, baby. We have to book it."

And we did. I jumped into the driver's seat of the car and I took off, pealing rubber and making a hasty escape.

Next thing I know, I'm standing on a street corner with the second youngest in my group, and I was on the verge of waking up. I vaguely remembered reading something about rubbing your hands together to stay lucid, so I did. And I stayed lucid. The girl was gesturing for me to run, to hurry, to follow her. I did, and together we sprinted down the sidewalk to our hideout.

"Are you sure you're not being followed?" I asked her as we ran.

"Yeah, yeah. I ran this street like, five times already!"

"Then what's that noise, doofus?" I asked her, and we both stopped to listen to the rustling in the grass.

It was Erasers. They were underground, gearing up to attack and following us. Worry swept over me - the second oldest in our group and the third youngest were still at the mansion. Were Erasers already there? Unknowing, we double-timed it to get there, and our wings sprang from our backsides and she launched into the air, making it into the second story.

The scene we found was utter chaos. My flock was running everywhere, and Erasers were hunting us all. I tried to fight them, but I wasn't really in control of the situation. My second oldest - a boy - was. And the scary part was he was part Eraser. He was bird-boy and werewolf. And somehow, he managed to drive them off by using a chain.

People had been present during this fight. People claiming to be my mom and dad. So my flock and I met them in the outside parking lot, and I remember we each had a word with them. Until it was my turn, and both of them turned around as I began to tearfully apologize for never coming back all of those years. They turned around after composing themselves, too, and asked why.

I told them we all had wings.

They didn't believe us, so I showed them. They weren't engineered to be on our backsides, but come out of our skin when we needed them. With concentration, we could make them emerge without danger or fear or strong emotions provoking them. My wings did, ripping right through the jacket I was wearing. I had beautiful white wings, and to demonstrate I could fly, me and the flock went through a joyride of the parking lot. My parents were delighted, and even invited us all to stay. Despite me warning them about the dangers of us, they persisted. We accepted.

Our clothes were altered so they wouldn't be ripped to shreds when our wings decided to pop out. And next thing I know, we're driving along in a car to a beautiful lake side that got a lot of tourism. Lake Chelan, they called it. We got out and began to hike around it, until finally I decided to fly above the lake. I tried to fly several times, but my wings wouldn't come out. But finally, finally they did. I managed to get a little ways over the lake before I lost lucidity and I fell into the water with my flock, where we were all laughing over the awestruck faces of the people on the shore.

    4. The Power In Me.

      by , 08-10-2010 at 04:57 AM
I also don't remember some of this dream, which I had just last night. As I've said, I've been working heavy hours and pretty long days, so me getting a sound sleep with fully-memorable dreams is an incredibly hard task to do right now. But I'm working on it.

I remember that I was with a group of four other girls, and we were to meet with another group of four girls. They wanted something that we possessed, but it was going to be a showdown on who was to get it. So, oddly enough, we met them at a cemetary and as I stood there, feeling uncertain, the leader of the other group stepped forward and gave us a wicked, evil smile.

I'm not too sure what happened then, except suddenly I was on the run and seperated from the people in my group. So I ran, except they were after me, and I was scared. And that's when it felt like a switch in my brain flipped, and power flooded me. A girl laid her hand on me, and I smacked my hand against her - and light poured out from my hand and knocked her back. It wasn't strong enough to hurt her, but just enough to protect me.

I'm not sure how I knew then, but I knew they were after me. So i turned tail and ran again as she laughed, a mocking and really creepy laugh.

    5. The Collector

I don't remember much of this dream - it happened two nights ago, and it was incredibly short. I haven't been sleeping very well.

Anyway, I remember I was at the mercy of a very powerful man. He had money to burn and he wasn't afraid to flaunt his power and outright murder people for refusing his demands. I wasn't sure how he managed to catch me, but I was watched and monitored every hour of every day. And soon, he began to "acquire" more girls. It was almost like he was making a collection of sorts, but I just couldn't figure out what was happening or why. We all looked remotely alike, too. Brown hair, blue eyes. . .

This one night he assembled the girls out on the deck and dressed them in a uniform that was both revealing, and somehow flattering to a female body. He was kind that night, and despite ourselves, we found we were laughing and we suddenly didn't feel so lonely and apart anymore. A sudden wave of homesickness fell over me, though, and as I looked up at the sky (for we were out on a deck under a waning moon), and I rested my head against the railing and sighed.

But I saw a flash, and as I looked up, I saw that the moon was suddenly. . . Very appealing. And it went from being a sliver to building in size and shape, until it was a full moon. Once completed, there was a blinding flash, and suddenly I was falling backwards - and I was in a completely different place.

      I woke up.

    6. I Am Legend

      by , 08-01-2010 at 04:42 AM
Everybody in my family became Infected with this strange virus, so I took it upon myself to end their misery. It was hard, and it was before they turned completely, but I managed. Somehow I was not infected, so I moved on with my dog - to a place where other survivors were gathering. I was hoping that maybe I could stay safe with them. And for a while, we were. We gathered supplies and moved into this large asphalt/brick house that was both sturdy and spacious, and isolated. A heavy-plated truck was our escape vehicle in the garage, and we took it upon ourselves to memorize every nook and cranny of the house in case something happened.

Axel (my dog) took well to living there. He never strayed far from me, so protective he was, but he'd play in the sunlight and happily go to and fro with the smaller children and play with them.

But like all good things, it had to end.

Hunters broke in, and my dog attacked them. He was Infected, then, but before I could go to him, I was ushered inside o the house and we were scrambling to get safe. My dog was taken inside, and I remember he was taken behind a door I was not allowed to enter. When we were attacked again, the next night, everything had been packed up into the getaway truck and as I was about to enter, I saw my dog, bound and insane. I bit my lip as I entered the truck, and away we went. The Hunters had attacked in the sunset, so we used it to our advantage.

We drove for what seemed like forever, but finally got to another safe haven - in Colorado. It was an incredibly fortified visitor's center of sorts, and it acted of somewhat like a store. We grew and sold food and other important things to people who travelled there in search of us. It was there that we discovered the alien life form that had come down and polluted the people, mutating them into Hunters.

But we had a small creature - another alien - and it raised the alien flora that had taken root in the visitor center. Everything was beautiful, captured into tubes and perfectly temperature-controlled. I took the small creature into my hand and had it give me a small tour. Against my will, however, I began to cry. The kind of deep heaves that leaves you feeling exhausted and tired. It was because I had killed everything I had ever loved.

Over time, we effectively found out how to stop the Hunters. We would lure them into the building and test possible ways to kill them. And we eventually found the correct way to do it.

      Again, it was compromised.

I remember everyone was running back and forth and was screaming. A woman I was fond of ran back inside to save something, back inside of the building filled with Hunters, and I knew she would die. Her husand and I waited outside, in the heavy duty truck. A girl who was with us tried to plead with him to leave her, because if he cared about survival he would. He was going to wait for his "fool wife" he told her.

I was spurred into action, ran back inside of the building and began to search for her. I ran straight into a Hunter, which turned around and looked at me with eyes that only reeked of murderous intents.

"Don't," I pleaded, "Don't hurt her. Just turn around and leave, there are plenty of other things for you to eat besides her and me."

To my surprise, it did. It turned around and walked off calmly.

Something else was beginning to happen, but I was so scared and shaken that I pulled myself out of the dream.
