    TEAM STORMY - INTERMEDIATE

I had a dream and after waking up I couldn't remember anything so I spent time on my cellphone watching YouTube. I go to sleep a second time and lo and behold I was dreaming about being on my cellphone. I don't remember much, but I do remember there were other parts of the dream or maybe another dream, but all I remember is the cellphone bit. I was on my cellphone and then I realized my hands looked weird so I became lucid. I was under my blanket the whole time as I like to sleep that way. I believe I was talking to a woman, but I couldn't see her as I was under my covers. I wake up for some reason and I decide to do a reality check again and my hands looked weird like before. I then decide to teleport, but before I do, I use my cellphone to go to the Dreamviews forum, but I get screen with a black background that tells me to log in. I was about to log in, but I felt that would be a waste of time so I Google for advice on what to do on my lucid dream. After that, I was like 'screw it' and put my left hand on my forehead. I thought I would teleport to the dream arcade, but afterwards I end up deciding on going to the Library of Secrets. I felt like I was shifting through time and space and while that was happening for a few seconds I hear classical music, a tune I have never heard before. First time hearing music in a lucid dream that I can recall. I was too scared to take off my bed covers as I didn't want to trigger a nightmare. With some of my lucid dreams, I try to avoid a potential nightmare and that sucks because all I'm doing is ending up scared. I need to remind myself that dreams are dreams and nothing can hurt me in my dreams and if something scary did show up, I could try removing it or killing it. I should of removed the bed covers as I would of been in a new place, but I didn't. I could of explored the library of secrets, but I didn't because I tried so hard to avoid a nightmare. I looked on my iPhone and I saw a wire-frame map of the interior and it looked intricate and I could of explored it, but my fears got the best of me. I need to not overthink when I'm awake or in my dreams. While I was looking at the map, I was trying looking at where the nightmare could be, so I think about teleporting to a new location where I go to a place all staffed by cute women. I think the girl that was talking in my lucid dream tried to sway me away from the idea, but I wake up as I get excited. TFW.

Judging by your words, it sounds like you haven't been LDing all that long. And yet, you could already get quite a lot done. I feel a bit jelly!

Wow you seem pretty scared of nightmares. Maybe try not to worry about those. If you do have a nightmare, just take a deep breath and remind yourself it's a dream, and try to work out what's causing them as they usually relate to your waking life.

My first lucid dream was at the end of November. I had 1 lucid dream in November; 1 in December; 1 or 2 in January; 2 in February, and a bunch in this month. I've been having lucid dreams almost every night. The total amount I had was 14 written down in my dream journal app, but I remember having 2 or 3 lucid dreams this month that I didn't want to record as I intentionally wanted to forget them, but I recorded most of my lucid dreams.

I've been overthinking about nightmares lately, but I just need to remember that a dream can't hurt me and with dream control a nightmare wont exist in my dreams.
