    Smart Dawn

    I was semi lucid during this part of the dream. I was in a room that was merged with an outside scenery, talking to a girl when suddenly Dawn came by and said he brought me a present. It was a big wooden connected ring that was made up of small wooden cubes that came in distinct colorful patterns. I thanked him for it but thinking it was supposed to be a bracelet i put it around my wrist. It was too big though so I took it apart, detaching it and putting it back together as a smaller ring.

    It was still pretty big though and i couldn't keep the cubes attached to eachother because of dream gravity. A big chunk of it fell apart. In order to save it i used dream control to put it back together. It worked well. After that when i saw him come closer i apologized for messing with it but told him i was only fixing it so that it would fit.He said it was okay.

    I than walked around and was looking for a green macaw female parrot that i felt was supposed to be present. I couldn't find her though. "Where is the green parrot that use to be here?" I asked Dawn
    We sat down and he told me "she died at four years old because she was only surrounded by indoor lighting and she needed natural sunlight" and something about them living less. I felt sad that she was gone but accepted that it was what happened.

    Notes:In this dream Dawn made me realize that i need to pay attention to my bird's getting the light they need more. The gift didn't need to be an accessory to be important either. I should have left it as it was instead of making it into what i wanted it to be.

    I tried painting the patterns but it's not coming out right, my memory is also failing me so I'll just leave it like this. I think its okay enough to give you idea of what it was.

      It's interesting to see this frequent appearance of Dawn.
      I have personally always had a strong image of what i want my DG to be, but i never got anywhere beyond my mental image, still thinking that i don't deserve to meet that person because i'm not ready yet.

      On a side note: I think that the text color you used is too bright to read comfortably.

      If you feel your dream guide won't pop up because your not ready or you don't deserve it, it is less likely to happen. I have that buried thought inside of me too at times to be honest. However, you are ready and you do deserve it, if you put honest intent before you fall asleep or dream you have more of chance of them appearing than if you doubt yourself. I feel like I succeed this way more when I want to dream of my other guide Eye but it's probably in the end just my lack of belief in myself too.



      Sorry about the color. I had that in mind that it could be somewhat bothersome but I did it for myself as another as sign to
      know it was memorable. I'll dim the color down though. : )

      It's a little bit difficult for me to say that i deserve such a thing, but i'll try to think positively about it from now onwards. Another part of me is worried that i might forget seeing my DG because i don't feel confident in my dream recall these days. In all cases though, i'll try to set that intention down everytime i go to bed, the intention to meet my DG.

      No need to apologize about the text color, it's your DJ after all.

      Reminds me of when i said good dreams don't come to those who wait. I was told that it was not the case and after i got a good dream it became easier to believe in. So stay strong. You can improve your recall gradually by writing your dream early after you wake up and think patiently of what occurred. I tend to not have time to do that when i have classes so maybe you dont but it is easier to recall when you have a favorite part to the dream and on your days off.

      Intent is good. Also, if your preffered dream doesn't pop up, don't feel so bad. You must have some favorite dreams that feel good to just remember. Like the cute chicks and chickens in your past lucid. Dream guides don't have to be stunning and arent necesaary either. If you wanted you could have the cute chicks assist you.Probably you could have them guide/fly you or make them talk and have them attack any suspicous looking dream figures. They'd be like the cutest guides ever.xD if not thats okay but do you know why you want a dream guide? I consider mine guides but not all the time. Sometimes i just feel like it's more fun when their present in the dream.

      Yeah, i do have classes, but i can dedicate some time for the journalling stuff no problem.

      I suppose that the term "Dream guide" is what i would give to consistent and more-or-less intelligent DCs.. The bottom line of it is that i simply like the feeling of having a dream partner or something along those lines.
