    White Plant Among The Greenery

*Messed up title. It was a plant but with no flowers.

I was non lucid at first but became lucid in my old room. There I looked at the window and hopped up to fly through it. However, when I managed to get through I felt myself turn upside down and I was now in the beach water. At first I heard zombie noises like moaning but than it stopped and I just enjoyed feeling the waves of the water passing around me and pushing back. For a bit I stayed like that and tried calling Dawn but than the ocean dissipated and became a mountainous area where I was attacked by not very visible lions and wild dogs. As I pushed them back and felt them bite me I thought about how prey animals feel when attacked. Eventually I decided to make them leave by calling Dawn. They ended up running away after I did.

When I got up I noticed I was now in a city that was becoming flooded. That's when a violet red book flew past me with japanese hiragana and kanji. I could read the hiragana which said "sakaru" and something else. Which is not a real word but I dismissed it and as I looked around it felt like I was going to wake up.

Standing in front of the old house bathroom mirror now I was doing my hair but kept aware of how I felt and the possibility that I was still dreaming.
That's when I remembered that I wasn't living there anymore and went into the room. Curious I looked through the window to see the yard and saw a lot of green plants with a huge white plant in the center. I felt like it represented something pure. It was nice to look at but than my thoughts ended up changing it into a carnivorous plant that growled. I looked away from it than thought of Dawn
Dawn didn't come but i began to be pulled away as the room darkened and thinking I would wake up, I woke up.

That's really cool that you saw legible hiragana in a dream. Does that happen very often? When I see writing in dreams it is almost always in English. Sometimes people will speak other languages but rarely do I get to read in another language while dreaming. And I don't think I have ever seen kanji in a dream (we call it hanja in Korean).

: DThx~ Glad you think it was cool too. It doesn't happen often because I don't read or write in hiragana a lot. It's cool when people speak in different languages too. Do you tend to read English more than the other languages in waking life? Although, it is possible that it still might not occur, you'd probably have better chances if you made it a habit or hobby to read in that language daily.Oo~ Hanja is a lovely name for kanji and i didn't know it was incorporated in the korean language. Very interesting. Hm... if you haven't seen it yet, try making it appear in a lucid dream. It'll probably be fun to see what'll show up in the text.

That is a good point, I definitely read in English way more than any other language. I do read in Korean daily, but usually very little, and my dreams in other languages probably come from my tendency to think vocally, if you know what I mean.

It's definitely less prevalent in Korean, since all the characters can also be written in the Korean alphabet, hangeul, as well (I don't know much about Japanese but from what I understand kanji is pretty essential). As for making it appear in a lucid dream, that is a great idea! I will have to try that when I am lucid again.

Oh. I see. Yeah, kanji is definitely important. You don't have to know every one but not everything is going to be in hiragana only. I wish i knew more but even after studying it i only remember a little. Glad your going to try it~ After talking about kanji this much, my goal is going to be to study more kanji again. Haven't done that in a while.
