    1. Reboot

      by , 06-12-2012 at 01:00 AM
I'm trying to keep things running here, but I'm not able to post all of my physical entries onto the site.

      Dream 1
A lot of bullshit spread across insanely complicated blueprints. This is a dream about absurd, incomprehensable science. A friend of mine walks up to me and explains how 6+3=18. My dream logic apparently didn't go to school along with me.
      Dream 2
A rather long dream about detective work, which I can only vaguely remember. The Hulk had been wreaking havoc, but as we were assembled at a café inside a mall, he was remorseful, so it was all right. I just walk back and forth, inspecting the area, when all of a sudden things start happening in slow motion. I leap (insanely fast) towards a female character who's holding a gun. I end up in the middle of a shootout between drug dealers and the police (although I suddenly am the police). After filling a couple of them, we inspect their bodies, and it becomes apparent that their drug has the ability to change people's minds without changing their appearance. According to dream logic, this is highly unnatural.
      Dream 3
I walk past some humanoid animal/monster-ish beings, who bat me some really evil eyes. I also ponder upon what it'll be like to graduate at school. Will I be able to handle the pressure of constant exams?

    2. The longest dream I wish I'd never forgotten

      by , 05-11-2012 at 02:19 PM
...but I did. There was a dream involving long travels, and giant halls, and... air vents crawling with politicians. I was walking from tree to tree on unstable bridges whilst dodging swarms of enemies.

In semi-sleepy state, I had a ''dream'' where I was in a cinema. Shinpachi (the glasses-guy from Gintama) stands up. Everyone does the same. He puts his cellphone next to the screen/stage. Everyone does the same. Suddenly everyone are standing where they once stood, their cellphones still in their hands.

    3. School of nonsense

      by , 05-09-2012 at 02:11 PM
      Dream 1
Working in groups at school. Lots of I get appointed to something, somewhere.
      Dream 2
Walking towards school with a friend and someone else. Some weird UI-screens pop up in front of me as we talk about how ''sick'' it was that someone had been invited to some clan in some game (led by none other than ''that guy'' residing in every online game ever, with lots of X's surrounding his name). Nature calls for my friend, and he steps away to pee. Just then, the other guy accompanying us starts running for the school, trying to lock us out. My friend runs after him with his pants down, as I shout ''No, no, no!''.
      Piss everywhere.
      Dream 3
I show a friend a comic I found on the internet. It's a goblin standing in a barn when all of a sudden, Spiderman pops up from the hay. The prick just keeps blabbering on about its faults. I respond: ''The real problem here is that otters only have three hails and would've easily been twice as effective had they gotten three tails.''
Just then, someone comes up to us with a trophy-shaped clock and wants me to press it. I just stand there confused, listening to the noise it's making. Then I wake up. Seems like it was my alarm clock going off.

    4. Stress + lack of sleep = fragments/nothing

      by , 05-07-2012 at 10:56 PM
      Dream fragment
I've been reading an excerpt from George Orwell's Animal Farm earlier, and I dreamed about the CIA being pigs/teletubbies. Fancy that.
      Dream 1 (2?)
At a 7/11-esque boutique with timetables hanging on the walls above the entrance. A voice introduces the following segment by yelling in quite a dramatic fashion: ''how crows saved the world!''. Seconds later, an infinite amount of crows come flying out of the timetables, trashing the entire place in an apeshit rampage.
The only question here is whether my brain is a closet pot-smoker or not.

    5. A boring quest, AN EPIC QUEST!

      by , 05-06-2012 at 10:05 PM
      Dream 1
At a really, really old library with my mother and some other groups of people. Friends and giant monsters keep passing by randomly, and books and chairs are flying around. After chatting for some time, we got a mission: to inspect a level of a high building. It seemed to be nothing but an abandoned swimming pool. After some time walking around there, my mother said: ''aha, it's closed. My co-workers were just joking with us''. I lost it completely.
      Dream 2
I enter some enormous city gate (setting: middle ages). At my right and left, there are narrow roads surrounded by small houses. At my front, a dark, brown wooden bridge is standing tall, leading to a hill. Atop of the hill is a city, surrounded by walls. I've come here with one purpose: to kill ''Roluf/Olaf the fast''. I set to work, armed with a shield and a small rapier. I blast my way through waves of city guards before reaching the bastard. Just then, a huge wave of guards with crossbows come at me. I start deflecting their arrows back at them with my shield, but some of them get stuck in both me and the shield. When the fighting's over, I try to outrund Roluf, but it's just impossible (even though we both run like the wind). I keep thrusting my rapier at him to no avail, and in the end he trips on a small bump in the grass. Mincemeat.
A highscore-board-screen-thingie pops up in front of my eyes:
      Roluf 1st
      Olaf 2nd
      Fredrik 3rd
I lose my shit just like the dream I had before.
      Dream 3
Hugo Chavez answers my e-mails. Yeah, that's it. I sit there hoping that Castro will do the same. What's wrong with my brain?

    6. The vast lands of holy baseball bats

      by , 05-04-2012 at 11:33 PM
With my sleep pattern being way off, this ended up becoming a fragmented trip between REM/Deep sleep.

      The dream
I was fooling around, gazing at a glorious, green landscape with a loveably resemblance to the Earthbound-series. 16-bit buildings and hills were popping up in the distance as I ventured forth with my party (consisting of anywhere between 4-10 people at different occasions). Somewhere into the dream, we reached a white, long staircase stretching towards the sky, and we started climbing it. At the top, shiny weapons awaited us in the form of kitchen utensils and sports gear. I (or at least the character I was controlling/observing, a small guy with a red cap) grabbed the baseball bat, and not long after, the team was engaged in battle. On a conveyor belt. In a... Japanese shrine/dojo/fighting arena? The entire fight happened one-on-one in two dimensions, à la Super Smash Bros, and ended up with me hitting a guy dressed in tinfoil so hard that he entered the third dimension when he soared off the stage.

    7. Garage

      by , 05-03-2012 at 11:56 PM
      Dreams (weirdly knit together)
Me and my grandmother are working with some boats in a garage/workshop that's located inside a schoolbuilding (my current school, to be precise). Nothing of interest happens, but the scene just randomly changed from this garage to my childhood home, and to the city. I believe they're seperate dreams that I only remember fragments of. In the garage, we're discussing politics, and there are envelopes with all the political parties available to vote for spread across the floor. I try hiding my vote for the socialist party, due to the aforementioned relative being a stalwart right-winger. In the background, ''Deutschland über alles'' is playing for some obscure reason, and I really wonder why. I get no proper answer, though, only gibberish.

I get more or less kidnapped by my own father and taken to the city, where my cousing also arrives by scooter. There are several political stands in the area. We return to the school/garage/workshop, where there now is a smaller boat laying on it's side. A large fishing boat is inside. My little brother is present too. Lots of gibberish ensue.

    8. Fragmented dream signs, B-horror movie

      by , 05-02-2012 at 05:15 PM
      Dream 1 (fragmented as heck)
I am in absolute control of several people, once again including lots of Gintama-characters (what are they even doing in my brain?). This thing keeps following my every order, like flying around in the garden and so on. By my side there's a small robot that doesn't want to do anything at all, which is not weird; the reason is simply enough that it's lacking batteries. I continue the dream by discussing the political undertones of the series.
Dream 2 (what the flying fuck?)
I'm lying in a bed, in a room that I've never been in before. It looks... sterile, like a hospital or something. As I look up from the pillow, I notice blood dripping/floating from the ceiling. And the sheets. And my pillow. And on the floor, forming trails to the door. I'm literally covered in blood, and I have no idea as of whether I'm losing any myself. I crawl out of bed like a worm on the verge of death, and when the door opens, I let out growls and hisses as I clench the bloodstained carpet, drawing me ever closer to the person who's just about to enter the room (turns out to be a classmate). She looks down at me, horrified, before slowly stepping back outside. I feel weaker and weaker, and in the end I probably ended up dying a pretty miserable death.
As I awoke, three words were rushing through my mind: Hva. I. Helvete? (or what the hell if you prefer)

    9. LAN of doom, powerpoint, old-timey street

      by , 05-01-2012 at 10:15 PM
      Dream 1
I'm somewhere that can only be explained as a crossover between a LAN/Arcade, a playground and a waterworld. I enter a white, balloon-like carousel with four exits. In one of them, there's something akin to a sheep, whilst the other holds a fanged balloon-monster. There are weird organisms flying around me really fast. After harvesting some courage, I manage to get out of the... thing. I tell my father about how twisted the entire thing was, before venturing into a dark hall, filled with desks, TVs and video game consoles. I want to play Paper Mario. I meet a video game reviewer and tell him (in english, although it's not my mother toungue): ''I don't have an xBox, so I'm probably - no - definitely biased.'' We laugh, and I decide to check out on a friend of mine, who's got his desk somewhere behind me. He's got two screens, a Wii and a PS3 (all of them black), and he's booting up his Wii. We chitchat about seemingly random stuff.
      Dream 2
I'm watching foreign reporting about somewhere in the middle east (Syria/Lybia I believe), where civilians have been killed by security forces trying to pass through an area with fences on one side and journalists on the other. It looked like a series of one-man-riots. At the same time, I'm creating a PowerPoint-presentation. The font is beyond comic sans in crappiness, and the text keeps disappearing, to my great demise. I frantically search the internet for clues as of how to deal with the issues, but it's not of much help.
      Dream 3
I'm sitting against the wall in the corner of our math classroom (I usually sit at the front in the middle). I get an urge to fool around with my cellphone, and my classmates screen me from the teacher. People randomly disappear, and it feels like time is completely abstract.
      Dream 4
The scene is a street in what I believe is how Oslo looked almost 100 years ago. The sidewalk is filled with elements from the Gintama-series, including it's main cast and a side-character with bad eyesight clinging to a big, clunky robot, mistaking it for another character. Egon Olsen is salvaging a tipped-over train in the middle of it all, asking the world what on earth would be able to keep him from doing so. ''The communists?'' I answer, looking at the cyrillic red/yellow papers he's holding in his hands. He just grins morbidly back.

    10. Fragments everywhere!

      by , 05-01-2012 at 12:53 AM
Really weird stuff going on. I had some really light sleep, resulting in lots of fragmented, short dreams.

      Dream 1
I'm somewhere tropical (Spain, I believe) with some family members on a vacation. Cruising around in a cab, I see buildings made of dark, polished stone with swimming pools inside. I participate in a competition with a friend.
      Dream 2
Some people looking like they're from South Park are acting out random stuff in my garage. I sit down with my (2) friends and encounter a kid whose mother has serious drinking problems. My parents walk straight in and start shifting the placement of the furniture. They decide the new placement by throwing random ping-pong balls around. A girl picks up the TV. A little while later one of my friends is sitting in a van, regretting that he ever set his foot at our place.
      Dream 3
I'm sitting at an outside café in a village nearby. It's situated at the same spot as a (barber)shop currently is. As I stand up and start walking, I notice a homeless person without arms and legs just lying on the floor, moving his head around.
      Dream 4/5
Two dreams more or less glued together. I'm in what looks like a pharaoh's tomb, filled with gold. At the same time, I'm here to fix the computer/distribution board of the ''house''. Two girls are playing some terribly shitty music in the same room. When I leave the tomb, stepping into the living room to take my leave, I encounter a bald man lying in his sofa/bed. Just then, a blonde woman enters the room. We greet eachother before I head for the corridor and leave the house. (and the dream)

    11. Bicycle trip into the savannah

      by , 04-29-2012 at 12:28 AM
Ugh, weekends. I always seem to fall completely out of my sleep pattern. Even as I'm typing this, I should've been asleep a long time ago already!
It's destroying my dream recall completely.

      The one and only dream
I'm on my way through the place I grew up in, heading for a lake nearby. At the same time I'm chatting with a friend. Lots of weird, stylish smileys flying back and forth.
When I arrive where the lake's supposed to be, it's all dried out. In it's place is a giant savannah. I construct a weird bicycle-like vehicle from sticks before venturing into it.
In the beginning, I'm driving on roads that look like skate ramps/rollercoasters, but I decide to jump off when I see that they all end with a free fall.
Further down I see a couple of giraffes. I slide down to them. All of a sudden, I use a lasso/whip to throw a giraffe far into the horizon.

    12. Befriending a bastard, Lucid life from night to day

      by , 04-28-2012 at 02:47 AM
Dream 1 (turning the tables of relationships spontaneously)
I was walking out from the mall with a friend of mine when he suddenly throws a snowball at car. I did something between uttering ''oh no'', saying ''we're so sorry'' and totally ignoring it. Suddenly, a lump of snow/knuckle hits me right in the face and I faceplant into the asphalt. The owner of the car (a stubbled guy wearing a cap) is furious at me (my friend is suddenly gone). Annoyed, I rise to my feet before slamming the guy into the side of his car, clenching his arms into a lock. Not a very muscular person, that's for sure. This goes on for a while before we suddenly decide to become friends. Dream logic at it's finest.
Not long after we're both sitting on the bus on our way to the mall we were fighting at. In the rundabout what looks like a hamburger and a coffin on wheels come rolling by us, and we recognise the hamburger as a pope mobile (Yeah, just like that). While driving upwards, the traffic starts getting chaotic, so the busdriver pulls a little bit over to the left. Just then a trailer comes zooming at us. Both vehicles manage to hit the brakes before any collision happens, but the trailer goes all Michael Bay on us anyway, exploding. (Or was it part of the news on the TV inside the bus? I can't seem to remember). On the news, they were talking about how a trailer had just ''disappeared from the road''. We deemed that as impossible unless a black hole had somehow materialised on the road.

Note: I could notice my facial hair being all messy in the reflection, as it often is during dreams.
After the usual awakening/WC-trip at 6:30, I went to bed again, focusing while thinking of some mantras. I try imaging myself becoming lucid.

Dream 2 (Lucid! Gotta try everything... that my brain is able to suddenly come up with.
My house is placed on the top of a cliff right atop of a little village by the sea (it's sunset/twilight, kind of tropical-looking). I have no idea where/when/how, but I became lucid, and managed to keep that state thanks to my mind racing all the time while frequently doing nose-pinch-RCs. At the very beginning it gets really blurry, but then I close my eyes and focus, which seems to work out. Two people fall from the terrace, so I jump after them, catch them and just fly up again like it was the most natural thing in the world. Seems like they were my brothers, and that they're hurt. Well, I healed them. With HP-bars and everything floating in the air around them. Their bruises (and their 22%HP) healed pretty darn quickly. I look at myself in the mirror, and I see the most horrible things being morphed out of what originally was my face. Nope, I don't like dream mirrors at all. I tried waking myself up as well as I could while closing my eyes, but I didn't manage to. I notice the scenery shifting from the village by the sea at night to the fjord in daylight. Various family members pop up randomly in the house. I try materialising something edible; a weirdly shaped ice cream cone. It didn't taste anything, which disappointed me a bit, just like the lack of physical feeling. In the end I bring with me a giant iPad (with the very same icons/functions as the real deal) into the living room, where my little brother is watching some people in sleds on the TV. I decide that I want to enter the TV, so I press my arms against it, but nothing happens. I'm kind of careful because of the vividness of the dream, and the fact that my cousin and some other girls are also in the living room.
I pinch my nose again, and the ''weirdest'' thing happens: I can't breathe. The reality check failed, leading me to believe that I was no longer in a dream, but walking around in waking life. ''Oops, I'm awake!'' I uttered, the only response being laughter from the other people in the room. I was really fasctinated/frightened/humoured by the whole thing. Then I woke up. I hadn't slept for long, but I felt really well-rested!

    13. Swimming in the northern sea with a terrible recall

      by , 04-25-2012 at 07:07 PM
Valve is releasing a Titanic-Soldier-Update for Team Fortress 2. A quite talentet artist is illustrating it. (I remember a painting with the Soldier standing in a wrestling-stance of sorts)

There's a giant swimming contest going on in the cold, blue, freezing sea filled with floe and icebergs. Everyone's Countryballs representing... well, countries.

In the middle of it all a dream character tells me that this is a dream, and that he's using everything in it to extend it. I derp my way through it without second thought.

    14. The White Building, The False Awakening, Lucidity

      by , 04-24-2012 at 07:16 PM
Dream 1/2 (sewn together, pretty much)
I'm involved in a TF2-match in a futuristic building where everything is white (with the exception of some flora and TV-screens).
The entire thing evolves into a competition where we use our imagination is the limit to our skills. My technique becomes transforming into a phoenix/parrot-like creature with tremendous healing abilities, yet no offensive traits. Apparently not very smart of me, because another guy's abilities involved freezing time and annihilating whatever. As my body was slowly being lifted from the ground, I could see a city from the giant window of the building (seemingly a skyscraper). My final words were ''errr... isn't this a little bit overpowered?''. Splat.

On the roof of the very same building, Hijikata & Sogou from the Gintama-series are on the lookout for something, while discussing everything from the date to the Odd-Jobs-gang. All of a sudden, Sogou pushes his colleague from the edge of the building with a sadistic, witty comment. Hijikata manages to grapple onto the main characters of the series, who happen to be hanging some levels below. Everyone starts shouting furiously at eachother.
Then I awoke, went to the bathroom, went to bed, had a dream I can't remember, and then...

Dream 3 (false awakening -> Lucidity)
I am suddenly waken up by my mother, who tells me to go to school. I find my bottle of Pyridoxin-pills beneath the sheets, and she says I'll need them.
I walk to the bathroom, do my business there, and as I'm about to leave it, I find the entire situation extremely weird. It's pitch-dark outside, and my mother should neither be awake nor present.

So I pinch my nose, and sure enough, my sight goes blurry all of a sudden and I become dizzy. I start rubbing my hands together and try spinning, but moving my legs is difficult, like moving through water.
While trying to overcome some of the strangest feelings ever, I decide to try flying, so I levitate towards the door (still pitch-dark outside). My control is absolutely terrible, and just as I think ''oh well, might as well go through the roof'' I hit my head and fall down on the floor. I couldn't feel a thing, which made me rather disappointed (neither control nor physical feelings were very noticeable). I rubbed the armrest of an old wooden chair just to give myself the satisfaction of feeling something at all (friction).

I walk downstairs and into the kitchen, where my father is cooking in the middle of night.
''Hey, I'm dreaming. Look!'' I say, before trying to levitate in front of him. I have to lean my knee against the back of a chair to stay there. He just turns around like nothing happened.
Then I consider going outside, before dream logic returned with a vengeance. I had to tell my mother not to awake me again! So I marched towards the bathroom, saying ''Don't you dare waking me up now!''.
Her answer was something like ''don't raise your voice like that'' before her arm started it's journey towards my face. I go ''nonononononononono-!'' before they reach my eyes and wake me up for good.
    15. Dark World, locked out, cinema

      by , 04-23-2012 at 06:20 PM
Dream 1 (rather compact, but I can only remember fragments of it's beginning and end)
I'm in a completely dark world inhabitated by silhouettes and dim sources of light here and there (like eyes/windows/sky).
Some cliffs form a circle formation, and centred between them all is a giant tree. On the cliffs, people are standing lifelessly on random spots.
I take a wooden elevator to the top of the tree. The elevator was constructed by a small girl with glowing eyes, who's apparently very hostile. She's waiting at the top.
I barely manage to escape and land in some water-like substance that there's plenty off in the darkness surrounding the tree.
Dream 2 (locked out from school)
I'm about to enter the school building (that for some reason is situated within our burnt-down gymnasium).
The door is locked. On the other side, the pupils who locked the door are grinning devilishly at us.
We stand there, fearing the wrath of our teacher.
      Dream 3 (the cinema)
I'm in a cinema along with some avid Gintama-fans who are trying to keep the series alive through economical funding.
The movie being screened, however, was dream #1, with the main character standing on one of the cliffs.
      Dream 4
I have no idea at all. I can only remember some really, really blurry Gintama-characters.
