Non-dream Dream

Dream 1:

I am in the Olympic gymnastics finals doing the floor exercise. I am way ahead of the competition.

Dream 2:

I am climbing Mt Everest for the second time. This time I am with Kelly Bundy (Christina Applegate). She is worried that I will go crazy on her due to altitude sickness. She has some catch phrase that will make her baseball card worth a lot later (?!?). We take a very long and round about way to the top.

I woke up (false awakening) and I am writing all of my previous dream down in my dream journal in extreme detail (at the kitchen table). I went through the entire morning. My wife gets ready for work and is about to leave until she sees me writing in my journal. She says "wow that must have been a good dream." I feel very satisfied and relieved that I am able to remember such a vivid dream. My wife and I leave the house for work and she is following me to get on a freeway. All the while I have some sense that I am dreaming. Some guys are on top of a light post (they kind of flew up there). I try to ignore them so they don't think they are cool. I tell my wife to watch out.

Dream 3:

I keep getting strange messages while I am at work (in the dark). There are strange beings having sex with girls. One looks like a tree-like alien with a large root penis. Another is a sea anenome type thing sucking some chicks p*ssy.

Dream 4:

Suddenly I am in a heated debate with my wife regarding Mike Trout vs Bryce Harper. I am trying to explain how Trout is so much better because not only did he miss a month of the season, but he is also a lead off hitter and his power numbers are so much better than Harper's. She doesn't agree with me (in real life she is on my side).

I have a couple strange dreams such as Mr. Garrison from South Park flying around my room pooping on things and playing silly games. I wake up all of a sudden and I am in my back yard with my two cats on the fence fighting. This is not a common occurrence for my cats so I look into the house to call for my wife. I feel incredible pressure on my head and I am scared. This shock puts me back into my bed but the pressure is still there. I realize it might just be sleep paralysis and that I am safe, so I start focusing on the pressure. A few more images pop in my head and I hear a sound like a radio broadcast. Then I lose the sensation and wake up.

Today I recalled a ton of totally random fragments:

Fragment 1:

I rented a harley and I am returning it to the dealer. The bike has a huge key. The owner is very trusting.

Fragment 2:

I am looking for a parking space for father's day lunch. I am waiting forever for a car to pull out and when it finally does it turns out to be a handicapped spot. Now all of a sudden the parking lot is completely empty.

Fragment 3:

My dad changed his entire back yard around. He fired the guy who cleans his bbq and I was really sad. The guy did a good job and didn't really break the bbq. The back yard was kind of shaped like an octagon.

Fragment 4:

I am driving by a cemetery. I am doing something dangerous or illegal and we are in some kind of trouble. Some chick in the car is getting bit by a snake from the road. I am driving this huge bike-like vehicle and started shouting "I don't want to get bit by the black widow!" Nobody believes me that there is a black widow on my bike. I stop and someone takes it off for me. Then I go to my parents house.

Fragment 5:

I am in a bar hustling people with some kind of magical device. We are playing for some kind of strange currency - almost like long bendable skis. Some guy walks by completely naked with his penis hanging out. I tried hard to ignore him.

Who was the girl with me?

I end up losing whatever we were betting on.

Dream 1: Olympics

People are competing in various events related to dreaming. Competitors go into lucid dreams and perform various tasks in the dreams for points.

How did I not become lucid in this dream?!?!?!?

There was another event for baseball defensive skills. Each country is positioned at a certain part of the field. Balls are hit to each part of the field with people at various bases (in all combinations). The country that the ball is hit to has to field it cleanly and throw it to the appropriate base depending on the situation. Countries are judged based on fielding the ball, choosing the appropriate base to throw it to and throwing accuracy and strength.

Dream 2:

I am standing outside of my house and I see a woman with large, spectacular breasts. I want to bang her really bad. I go to my computer to masturbate (not sure if I actually did it). I end up on an orgy vacation with my wife. I start having sex with her. I'm not sure if I had sex with anyone else.

I try going somewhere that I'm not supposed to go and I get caught. In an attempt to get away I find myself hanging onto the wing of an aircraft while it is flying. I am thinking the whole time that this is not possible and I am dreaming. However, it is very difficult to perform a reality check because I am hanging onto the wing. Without doing a reality check, I am not fully confident that I am dreaming so I am scared to let go.

Next time I am in this situation I will try to study my hands.

Dream 1:

I am in an Olympic water sliding event that people take very seriously. People are pissed because this is my first time ever participating in the event and I am dominating the sport. A couple of kids are being very nice to me though. The water slides have obstacles in the middle of them.

Dream 2:

I am at an Angels game with great seats but I don't watch the game. I am trying desperately to find someone and Rose (from Lost) is helping me. We are taking elevators everywhere (it is kind of like a hotel). The first place I try to look is the 11th floor but the elevator keeps skipping it and gaining more and more speed. It feels like I am going to die - like the elevator is broken and is going to fly through the top of the building.

I find myself momentarily watching the game and a foul ball comes my way. I calmly say "got it" and I catch it. My wife wasn't there to see it because she took a slide down to lower levels of the stadium. She never came back. The Angels are in the field and the bases are loaded with no outs. The batter hits a pop up in the infield. The fielder drops it but umpires call the infield fly rule so the batter is out. This confuses the hell out of the fan next to me. The next batter hits into a double play which Pujols drops but picks up just in time.

Now I am back on my search for someone - some rich person. I go to the penthouse but they don't let me in. I am going down some flights of stairs impossibly fast. I am basically diving head first and rolling to get to wherever I am going.

I took a short nap and recalled a dream fragment.

A cute girl at work agreed to go out with me but then embarrassed the sh*t out of me when she said yes by announcing it to the entire department. JC was there and he made it really bad.

A couple of vivid dreams today:

Dream 1:

I am on some sort of mission with JW and JF. I am driving, I take a short cut through an alley and almost hit a woman. I am holding something out in front of me to get it past her.

Dream 2:

There is a huge party at my house. The yard is really big and we have a huge side yard with veggies and nectarine trees. WW and some other girl and the party say they like my wife (want to have sex with her). There are tons of Asian people and I am playing football with them. I throw the football over the roof by mistake. My wife is putting together some massive cabinet outside against the wall where the oak tree should be. There are 8 cats (all variations of my cat, S) sleeping next to each other in order of size.

I woke up and thought about the party dream for a while, then went back into it.

Mike Trout shows up to the party with his girlfriend, a tiny, cute Asian girl. I tell him that I HAVE to pitch to him so I go looking for a baseball. I find a bunch of baseballs but they are all nasty except for all of my autographed ones. The autographed baseballs are all signed by family, friends and myself. Next I am at Guadalupe Elementary School on the field pitching to Mike Trout. There is a catcher there too in full gear.

The first pitch I throw is a fastball on the outside corner for a called strike one. Next I throw a slider which I aimed (I was hesitant to throw it). It's not a very good pitch. He swings at it and barely gets a piece. After the pitch I realize that I am standing way too far away so I scoot up. Next I throw a beautiful slider and he fouls it straight back but he pulls something in his leg. I think this happened because I was thinking how much it would suck if I injured Mike Trout.

There is a doctor at the party with an x-ray machine. He examines Mike's leg and informs us that he has cancer. I'm not sure if it is real or a joke. Mike Trout and his girlfriend start to leave and I beg his girlfriend to send me the video of me pitching to him (she filmed it on her I-phone). I think she did. I hugged her and shook Mike's hand. He has pretty bad acne and was really nice - he reminds me of my younger self.

Note - I think my wife was pregnant at the party.

Dream 3:

I am at a huge mall that looks like an airport. I am full of confidence. I stand in line for the directory but forget what I am looking for. When it is my time to look at the directory I just walk away.

I recalled a couple of strange fragments today.

Dream 1:

I am at an Indian wedding. I wake up with the thought "keep up or you will forget."

Dream 2:

I am walking down the middle of a vacant Westwood Blvd. I am an expert bread baker. I take some kind of strange bacteria gas as a test for something. I think it removes marijuana from your system. The chick from Total Recall (Arnold's girl) is the person administering the gas. It stings my eyes really bad because of my eye condition at first but then I get used to it.

Dream 3:

My cats are fighting and V turns into a ferocious bear and pounces on S with incredible force.

Non-dream Dream Lucid Dream

I had a couple of very vivid dreams last night.

Dream 1:

I am about to have either tooth surgery or surgery on my testicles and I feel very frustrated. I am at my old Anaheim house. My parents are being a pain. They said they are "really busy" and wouldn't make it to the surgery until really late. My brother is helping me find a suit to wear to the surgery. I am having a child soon. I woke up with pain in my left testicle.

Dream 2:

I am playing baseball and TK is my coach. I'm not in the field because I need to sleep.

Dream 3:

Bowling is in the olympics and LA calls me so I can watch it.

Dream 4:

It is my wedding day and my brother is helping me out with the tux. Even though it is the day of the wedding we JUST got fitted for the tuxes and we (me, my brother, and bender from Futurama) go to get them just 5 minutes before the ceremony is about to start. I mingle with some guests - mostly my wife's co-workers. Some older lady asks me where ___ (cant remember his name) is and I reply "sorry I have no idea who he is." She gets really sad and asks if he is dead and I say "I don't know" and I rush down to get my tux.

After getting the tux, the trip back to the mingling area is very difficult. There is an obstacle course very similar to the show Wipeout. Every time I try to pass one particular spot I say "Is this really what it's like getting out of a prostate?" Everyone laughs (?!?).

On the way up to the ceremony I realize that my worst fear has come true. We are minutes from the ceremony and my tux isn't on, we didn't practice our first dance, I didn't prepare a speech for later that evening, I really didn't know what was going on at all. Then I realize that everything will be ok and I am at peace.

I reach the holding room where my wife is waiting for me. She asks me a question and I snap into awareness. I say "But this is a dream!" The look on my wife's face at this moment after telling her this is a dream is one of the saddest things I have ever seen. She is crushed. She really wants the wedding to be perfect and I do too. She starts crying and I say "It's OK, it's OK," but she runs out of the room. I fly after her for a short while but she has disappeared. Everything goes black. I try to fight it but I eventually wake up.

I was lucid for about 15 seconds. I have no idea what triggered the DILD but I think it had to do with the strange timing of the wedding (nothing being prepared, etc...).

Dream 5:

I am a left fielder playing in a baseball game and I can't catch a fly ball. I misjudge all of the balls hit to me or lost them in the lights.

Dream 1:

I am walking past a softball field and decide to help a guy who lost a ball in the street. I throw it to him and he doesn't say thank you. I yell at him "thank you" sarcastically and he gets upset with me - maybe he was about to say thank you. We are looking for the field that I am going to play on to see if it has a fence.

Dream 2:

I am taking care of and comforting a little girl who is having nightmares.

Dream 3:

A large truck (at least 10 feet high) stole something from an outdoor restaurant. I think it is an umbrella. There are tons of people in the truck. The driver slams on the breaks and an African American man flies out of the top of the truck. He lands on the street and gets run over by the truck - he turns out to be o.k. though.

Dream 4:

I have an awesome sex scene with my wife with tons of foreplay.

Dream 5:

A teacher gets punched in the face and we all pitch in to a fund for him. I gave $20.

I learn something about vital organs.

Non-dream Dream Lucid Dream

I am at high school basketball tryouts and I block the sh*t out of my friend El. It was such an awesome block that I keep trying to play it back on my phone. I block a bunch of other people too. I get traded because of my parents somehow (not my real life parents) even though it is high school.

At this point I "wake up" from the basketball dream and draw a picture of the scene where I block El to show my wife. I look down at the picture and it is incredibly life-like (and I am a terrible artist). At this point I realize it is a dream (false awakening). I am extremely popular at my high school. Every chick wants to bang me (and does). I walk into a classroom to learn about cows and they slaughter them and try to feed us blood. I don't want anything to do with it so I walk out with a couple of chicks to film a porno.

Dream 1:

My Dad is being an asshole to me and some of my friends. He keeps making us fetch baseballs during a batting practice. I hit one over the house and everyone is impressed.

Dream 2:

I am playing basketball and draining all of my shots - impressed everyone.

Dream 3:

I have a drug garden with various mushrooms, etc. There is a big party for me and I am smoking weed. I mail some of my garden to some place to have it converted into weed but then I realized I can get into serious trouble.

Dream 1:

I am in New York during the terrorist attacks. I am in a raft in the ocean by the statue of liberty. I find a rocky shore and paddle to it. There is a hiking trail there which I follow up to a railing. Over this railing is a very long fall down into the ocean. Mac, Charlie (from Always Sunny in Philadelphia) and I take turns faking the jump.

Dream 2:

There is a crazy driver in my neighborhood driving on the sidewalks and on peoples lawns. It is a blue car. He almost hits two small children. I am the only one running after him trying to stop him. I yell at all of my neighbors for not helping me. A raccoon jumps out of the blue car and starts tormenting me. It knows how to manipulate / create electricity and it tries to shock me. I manage to lock it in the bedroom (which at this point is my parent's room on Pam Ln). Then I call 911 and wake up.

Dream 3:

Some chick, I think it is TE, is sitting at a bar with me. JG, my old boss, is there as well. TE is willing to do all kinds of sexual favors in exchange for chores. It was really really fun.

Dream 1:

I am doing shrooms with the cast of Workaholics on the driveway at my old Anaheim house. We are tripping out in a gym on our roller blades watching some girls play basketball. We also get some physics lessons from a teacher. I think we are at Cal State Dominguez Hills. Tupac is also there. Some guy keeps banging the chick I am with so I have to give him $200 to never bang her again.

I am making my major league baseball debut with the Angels. I am playing right field for some reason (SS,3B,P in real life) and I am doing very well. I get an outfield assist after backing up an errant throw to first base.

Fragment 2:

I am at my wedding and everything is going very well. I look awesome. I am snowboarding at the wedding with my brother and AC, and I am doing well. The venue is MG but it changed to the Anaheim back yard. We get put on the spot frequently throughout the wedding but we don't give a sh*t.

I am bowling and Em is there directing / coaching people.

I am talking to Obama.
