    A Gamer's Trip into Lucidity

I do keep a dream journal by my bed and I keep a sketchbook where I record and then illustrate my favorite and most memorable dreams. I'll only be posting my most memorable dreams here, however. I'd like my DJ to be mostly private. :3

      NON-DREAM DREAM LUCID

Goodness, I've been a man a lot in the dream's I've had lately, haven't I? This is also a pretty short entry since I don't remember much from the dream. I was still wearing my nicotine patch at the time.

The team from That Guy With The Glasses was in this dream. I recognized that I didn't know the Nostalgia Critic but for some reason, I was friends with The Spoony One, Paw Dugan and LordKat. Odd. Anyway, I also remember hopping onto the That Guy With The Glasses website and leaving a comment on one of the pages. I can't remember the details, though. After that there was a lot of travelling in a swamp with a lot of small islands. We were all in a roller-coaster that was following the bumps and dips of the hills. This part is hazy but after a pretty big chunk of missing dream, I was Spiderman and I was arguing with Mary Jane. We had a child.

After that, I don't remember anything.

      NON-DREAM DREAM LUCID

This time, I don't remember much from the first part of the dream. The non-lucid part, I mean. I woke up right after I had my lucid experience and while I was still conscious I seared the images from my dream into my memory.

I do remember looking up to the sky, through the window and seeing dark blue clouds that were nearly black around noon. Then I thought to myself "There's no way it's that dark at noon. I have to be dreaming." I did my reality check and it came up dream positive. I was excited but I didn't want my excitement to cause me to wake up so I put my arms down, I took a deep breath and started rubbing my hands together to keep the dream stable. I was then in total darkness. Even the window had disappeared. I felt fine though, there was nothing to be afraid of. I just rubbed my hands together, kept my eyes in front of me and slowly spun until I ended up somewhere new. I didn't have anything particular in mind but I did end up in a comforting, blue-green aura. It was very wavy. The dream felt very stable.

Out of nowhere, the nicotine patch I was wearing caused my heart to start racing and I woke up. The patch helped me remember my dream and helped everything seem more real but I was sick for the rest of the day, even after taking it off right after waking after my next dream.

NOTE: KingYoshi's All-Day Awareness technique is working out great for me.
